I want a Big Sister

Xavier arrives home looking exhausted, he quickly goes to Cherish's bedroom to check on her. Knock!! Knock, no response, he quickly opens the door and enters, seeing Cherish on the floor crying broke his heart.

He quickly goes to her, hugs her and kisses her on the head, "sweetheart, why are you crying? Did something happen?", He asked, still no response from Cherish.

"Baby girl, please tell me what happened. I promise to do anything to make you happy," Xavier said. Hearing this, Cherish smiled and quickly covered up, pretending that she was still hurting." Xavier, I want a big sister, all my friends in school keep bragging about having a big sister. And I don't have anyone except you, I want a big sister", cherish said, crying." But sweetheart, it's not my fault you don't have a big sister and besides, you have me and I should be enough for you, right?", Xavier asked.

"l want a big sister", Cherish yelled. "okay calm down sweetheart, what do you want me to do?" Xavier asked. "Get married Xavier" Cherish replied. "Sweetheart, I can't get married now, am not dating anyone", Xavier said.

"But why, are you old enough to get married?", Cherish asked. "See sweetheart you can't understand, it's more of adult stuff and besides am too busy to date not to talk about getting married," Xavier explained.

Cherish continues crying and screaming at the top of her voice. "Okay, I promise to get married when I find someone," Xavier said.

" Find someone!! Xavier, but there is someone already", cherish said. "And who is that?" Xavier asked.

"Summer", Cherish answered. " What!!! Cherish, did Summer put you up to this?" Xavier asked. "No, she didn't put me up to anything, I love her. She understands me and doesn't judge me when I make mistakes, besides she is single, and she loves you", Cherish replied.

"Am not getting married to Summer and that's final," Xavier said." But you just promised to do anything to make me happy a few minutes ago," Cherish said fake crying.

"Okay!!! You win, but I'm not promising you anything for now. But I'll get you a big sister, "Xavier said.

"No, I don't want any other big sister, I want Summer and that's final," Cherish said, crossing her hands. "Okay!! Sweetheart, you know I would do anything for you, I promise to make Summer your big sister," Xavier said.

"Yay" Cherish jumps excitedly, she quickly hugs Xavier and said, " I love you, Xavier, you are the best brother in the whole world". "I love you too sweetheart "Xavier replied.

"So, have you had dinner?"Xavier asked. Cherish replied positively. "Okay sweetheart, I'm exhausted. I need to head to bed," Xavier said.

"I love you, sweetheart, Goodnight", Xavier said. " I love you too bye", Cherish replied.

With that, Xavier heads to his room, takes his bath and goes to bed.
