CHAPTER TWO:Getting a temporary Job.

When the people seated saw the eased face of robert and the direction which he looked at, they knew that their little saviour had come.

And breathed a sigh of relief because the room was getting tensed.

"Daddy" Lily entered through the large door

that was opened by ethan, who was robert's right hand man.

"Oh it's daddy's sweetheart" Robert said as a smile rested on his lips and opened his arms for a hug.

Lilly then stopped for a while and gave a bow greeting every body before running unsteadily into her father's arm, robert hugged her as he took a sniff of milk from her body, which she got from the milk formula which gives him relieve.

Sometimes he think back to that night and remembers the woman who gave him a tough time of trying to get her from his head.

He had madly searched for her, not knowing she was pregnant untill he was told by his mother of his child from that same woman.

He asked his mother where she was able to find her after he was told he located where she was and started scheming to bring her close.

When they saw how she first greeted them when she walked into the room, they were impressed by her home training and they felt she acted older than her age. The tension which has been built up by robert was being eased up by lilly.

His daughter was the only one who could put a smile on his indifferent face, even his mother can only make him ease up a bit.

Although, where lily came from was unknown, but they was no surprise there, cause the number of women robert have been involved with is as much as the clothes he had worn .

So they thought that maybe lily is from one of his many women.

But since the birth of lily, the number of women around him was becoming less and less over the years.

It was unknown if it was because he felt a sense of responsibility.

The only woman around him was stephanie daniel who is the only woman as of now who seem like the future mrs marshal.

She was of a slightly lower class than him.

The daniels and the marshal are very close friends and as such stephanie slowly fell in love with robert.

And because robert mother judy marshal liked her and started seeing her as a prominent daughter-in-law, this gave her more privileges than other girls to get close to him.

"Daddy, have you had your lunch yet" Lily asked looking worried with her adorable face.

"No, daddy is very busy".

" No, that won't do daddy, i'm taking you out for lunch"

"Are you serious? "

"Yes, get up let's go" Lily said as she came down from robert's arm and held is arm , tugging at it to indicate for him to stand up .

"Okay, i'm coming let me round up the meeting"

"Okay, i'm waiting".

" Meeting closed, but in the next meeting i expect some thing better than this " Robert walked away after talking with his daughter's hand in his.

Amy entered the restaurant and sat on an empty chair with a table at a far corner of the restaurant.

"Be sure to serve all the customer right and i will need two cup of tea at that table over there, i have a guest".

"Oh my God you are looking so horrible" Ana cried out in surprise as she approached the table amy was sitting on.

Amy looked up at her friend that just pulled out a chair and then she started crying.

"A..na, a.. na, i don't know what to do again, it was had enough getting that job".

"It's okay we will figure out some thing"

"Thank you" Ana said as she collected the the tea from the waitress .

" Amy Would you need, any food" Ana asked worried that amy had not taken any thing.

"No, i'm okay"

"Okay, you can go" Ana said to the waitress.

"So, what happened? why were you fired? "

"I don't know"

"Sorry, let's not dwell on old things okay, let's talk about where to start from".

" There's no other starting point for m..e, i'm doomed for life " Amy said out of

then continued her crying .

"Look don't cry, your eyes is becoming puffy"

Amy began crying harder that started receiving strange look from people"i lost my job, now i'm ugly".

"Amy sweetheart, i never said you are ugly, but just stop crying. How about you start working in my restaurant till you find another job?.

Amy's head that was on the table jerked up immediately she heard what her friend said" That will be very nice, i promise to do the job very well.

"Okay "

"Should i start now? i can start now".amy asked excited about the new job.

" No, go and have a nice rest and resume tomorrow, you look stressed".

"Okay, i will come very early in the morning" Amy said excited as she waved her friend good bye as she stepped out of the restaurant.

"So which restaurant are you taking daddy to?" Robert asked lily who was dragging him towards the car.
