CHAPTER FIVE: FIRST DAY AT WORK

"Daddy, my bag and my briefcase" Lily said raising her bag and cute little briefcase containing her pencils📝, ruler📏📐, paper, pen🖋🖊, cute little stapler, pins 📎🖇and sticky notes.

"Hmm" Robert simply nodded his head before standing to head to the bathroom to freshen up.

As he heard her father's response her face dulled up as she was expecting her father to praise her more.

As robert was about to go to the bathroom he notice lily's change of expression, he immediately added "you are looking very nice in those cloths.

As she heard it her face lightened up and she became happy again.

After he was through with taking his bath, he stepped out of the bathroom with a black bathrobe, he found a suit of the exact same colour with that of his daughter.

He looked at his daughter who was playing a game on her phone completely oblivious of his arrival.

He had wanted to call the butler to ask about the suit when his daughter raised her head from her phone and ran to the suit on the bed "daddy isn't it nice?" Lily asked showing him the suit.

Robert looked at the suit very well "hmm, it nice. Do you know who brought it out for me? "

"Yes, daddy it's me who picked it out for you. I told grandma harriet to help me lay it for you on the bed.

"Oh, my princess is all grown now. She helps her daddy to work and also pick out clothes for daddy. "Robert said with a big smile on her face.

Lilly giggled very happily.

Robert put on the suit with a black shirt on the inside, with the two top button opened. He wore a black channel shoe.

He was looking so sexy with his thin dark red lips, long eye lash and slightly messy hair.

He took his bag and put the neatly arranged document on the table and his laptop into the bag, zipped it and took lily's hand as they went down for breakfast.

"Good morning nelly" Lily greeted the cook at the dinning table.

"Good morning lily".nelly responded before looking up to find robert walking down the stairs.

She was stunned she always knew mr robert was very good looking but this sight in front of her took all atom of breath away from her.

She tried to find her breath as she looked away from him and started panting fast.

She composed herself and greeted robert "good morning sir"

Robert simply gave a nod before sitting down. While lilly laughed hard at what had happened.

She liked aunty nelly because aunty nelly liked her genuinely not because of her father.

She had realized that aunty nelly liked her father and she had wished that aunty nelly would become her mommy.

If not for the plan her father told her about she would still hold such wish in mind.

"Hmm,scents delicious" Lily remarked as she received her own portion of sandwiched bread🥪, egg 🍳and bacon🥓 with a glass of cold juice🍹.

After breakfast robert and lily were ready to leave for work as they opened the door to leave "lily wait don't forget your coat" Grandma harriet hurried to get lily her coat.

As lily received it, she gave grandma harriet a big kiss before waving her good bye as they left the house.

"Gosh, you are ten minutes early. Good morning amy. "

"Good morning ana, i decided to come early so as to help around. No one has come yet? "

"Nope, no one is coming till seven thirty".

"Oh i see"amy said

"So what can i help with?"Amy asked looking around.

" Nothing much as you can see as i have pretty much done every thing, but you can start cleaning the table and the counter".

"Okay"

"What would you like ma?"

"Hmmm, i would need two servings of pancakes with honey on top🥞🥞, some scrambled eggs🍳 ,two cups of tea☕☕waffles🧇🧇,soup🍲🍲and tacos🌮🌮 from the break fast course".

"Okay coming right up"Amy said preparing to leave for the kitchen.

" Excuse me, can i get anything from the lunch course?".

"I'm sorry ma, but the lunch course opens only opens at noon". Amy responded politely.

" Okay, i will get a serving of cooked corn🌽, bread🍞, some butter🧈, sandwich bread🥪, bacon🥓 and a cup of coffee☕and some slice of watermelon🍉 from the breakfast course".

"Okay, all noted down, you will receive your order in a short while".

" Ding, ding" Amy rang the bell to notify the kitchen of a new order "this to table sixteen and this to table twenty".

Amy handed the paper carrying the order if people, before going back to collect more orders.

"Please enjoy and have a nice day" Amy said as she brought food to each table.

"Oh god, this place was so busy " Amy said during their break as she munched on her breakfast which consisted of pancake🥞, bread🍞 and egg🍳 and a hot cup of tea☕.

"That's while our break is till twelve to one when people come in for the afternoon course at their lunch break from their various offices".

" Oh no wonder there's no customer here" Amy responded.

"Don't worry you get used to it". Ana encouraged her.
