5.Our Little Introduction....

Bella's POV:-

"Bella!!" I woke up by my mother's calling .

Oh no! I better get ready and go downstairs. I rushed into the bathroom to take a shower. I gave out a sigh of relief when the warm water hit my skin with an calming effect.

Memories from yesterday were still lingering in my mind. The thoughts of that boy from yesterday kept haunting me whole night. I couldn't help but think about his perfect Amber eyes. They were beautiful and deep like oceans. I was so lost in his eyes yesterday like I was looking for an anchor to hold me up from drowning in the sea of these problems. His eyes were so captivating. They had a spark and glint of something else.... maybe sadness? But why was he sad? I was little curious about this boy whose name I don't even know. Oh God what is happening with me?

"Bella?" There was a knock on my bathroom door. "Are you in here? Come downstairs for breakfast after your shower." I heard my mom's voice.

"Okay Mom." I replied As I heard the sound of the footsteps fading away.

I turn the shower off and picked my causal off shoulder white top and paired it with a red dress. I tied my hairs up in a messy bun. It's not anyone is gonna come to see me anyways. I just applied a little mascara and a lip balm just to look enough presentable. I had a look in the mirror. The girl in the reflection stood confidently with a smile plastered on her face. The smile was warming and comforting. It almost seems a real one. She is good enough to hide her loneliness by faking a heartwarming sweet smile. She is me. I am strong. After my self affirmation I headed downstairs.

"Good morning mom and dad" I greeted my parents as I was receding the stairs.

"Good morning you too Lily and Sky." I greeted my sisters as I saw them coming downstairs too.

I took my seat on the dining table. "Sis, you are looking so cute as always."Complimented Lily.

"Thank you Lily" I blushed a little and thanked her.

*Ding Dong*

We heard the bell ring. "Who must be here at this early in the morning?" Asked Sky.

"No idea" answered my mom.

"Wait, I was will see who is there. You have your breakfast." I told her and stood up from my chair and walked towards the door. I nearly tripped myself but I got my balance. Phew!!!Thank God. See clumsy me.

"Oh God sis, can't you just be a little careful about yourself?" Lily scolded me playfully.

I opened the door and I met with the same pair of Amber eyes that haunted me from yesterday. He was looking right at me, smiling at me showing his perfect dimple of left cheek. A genuine smile. A smile that melted my heart. He was wearing an orange T-shirt and a black track pants. Is there anything that he can't look good in it? We both were staring at each other. For me it seemed like everything blurred out and all I can see was him, only him.

"Who is there, dear?" Asked my mom breaking our stance and stood by my side.

"He is..." Oh God What should I say? I don't even know who he is?

"Hello Mrs. Dravis. I live in your neighbourhood. My mom saw you moving in yesterday, that is why she baked some cupcakes for you all. I hope you like them." The boy answer with his husky voice. It unexpectedly had a smoothing effect on me. But how?

"Why are y'all taking so long?" Asked Dad walking towards the door.

"Oh honey, this sweet boy was here to give us cupcakes as a welcoming gift." Answered my mom.

"Oh sweetheart, I know him." said my dad to my mom.

"Why don't you come inside dear?"my dad asked to the boy.

He came inside and sat on the sofa.

"Okay, let me introduce you to my family." Said my father to that boy.

"This is my wife, Serene. These are my daughters Lily and Sky. You have already met them." My father introduced each one and then gestured to me. "This is my elder daughter." I tried my best to hide my disappointment with my most appealing smile as he just mentioned me as his 'elder daughter' nothing more.

And then he gestured to that boy "And This is son of Mr. Calloway, My business partner. We are working together from past three years. He is a smart kid just like his father. He is excellent in his studies and good in sports too." He told us feeling proud. I sighed. I wished my father had introduced me as a little more than 'this is my elder daughter'.

The entire time I was watching him and his every move. My sister nudged me.

"You remember sissy, I told you about a boy who owned cats. He is the one." Lily said. I remember her telling me about cats and how cute they were and blah blah blah.

She walked to him and said, "You know my sis was so eager to meet you as I told her about your cats and kittens. She loves them. She loves every animal by the way. Can we please see them? Please?" She tried her best to put those puppy eyes.

Wait, what?? I.... ?? him.....?? When was I eager to meet him? This little devil is gonna be death of me.

"Oh of course Lily." He answered her but he was looking at me.

Is he thinking the same thing I am thinking right now? Cause I am thinking about yesterday night's incident. I hope he doesn't mention yesterday's incident to my parents.

"Thank you Mr.Calloway. I should really go now. My mom must be waiting for me. Please don't forget to tell her that you liked them or not. She will be very happy to know." He stood up from the sofa and handed me the box of cupcakes. His scent was manly and earthy. He smells so good. It seemed more natural than artificial.

"It was nice to meet you. See you later?" He said.

"Ya sure. It was nice to meet you too." I replied with a smile.

"Bye." He said.

Standing by the door holding box of cupcakes, something triggered inside me.

What just happened ?
