chpt8 ,Sect entrance exams part 2

Soon after the meeting i started thinking on what I'll need in the fight then remembered I don't have any weapons with me anda sword won't help much when im moving towards hand combat .

Decided to look for a blacksmith with some good claws or gauntlets.

Now I Should study Forging so i can design good claws for myself.

With that i left and went out looking a good smith . Wondering around soon found myself in the modest looking Smithy ,I went and found an old man reading inside, Walking up to him I greeted and asked for his claws and gauntlet collection at the peak yellow grade.

He pointed to one corner of the store so I went to look at it. The display was lined with multiple close combat weapons , Looking at the them very few caught my interest. As I was loosing hope saw I box down in the corner pulled it over and opened it up n inside was a thin gauntlet with with spikes coming above the knuckles .

Taking it, we to the old man to buy it. Sorry kid that one ain't for sale the old man said .Come on Oldman just give me the price and I'll pay .

You can't have a good weapons like this and let it collect dust instead of ripping flesh apart in the battle field. But he just shook his head .

Why can't you sell It to me i asked .

He didn't answer I took out a few beast parts good for forging and a 30 mid grade spirit stones, the man looked at them for a while and took them in the end. he gestured for me to give him the gauntlets and when I did he run did some adjustments to then gave them back .

Took the claws wore them and started trying them out ,the old man is legit my Qi runs well and fast in them and the durability would last a long while almost as strong as the weakest grade weapons .

Tokens where thrown towards the crowd everyone caught one I got mine was number 456 ,James got 67 ,drew 357, Seth 501 .

Each of you have received a number, you'll go in 15 to the ring and it will be a battle royal. Those getting the last one in the stage wins you can eliminate by knock out ,surrender or ring out . Me and the elders will be observing and keeping order on this first round. Any cheaters will be crippled of their cultivation .

The winners of the battle royal will selected as the top 40 and excused from battle until the top 200 is decided

The stage split into two separate rings now 600 to 585 come into the left stage 1 to 15 come to the right stage. So the the battle royals began .

looking to the side I saw Siya in the right side ring , decided to watch the match .Soon a gong sounded at the fights began chaos filled the ring with people targeting each other .Siya was soon surrounded by 3 guys all attacking at once, he used a movement techniques then drawing his sword he slashed one of the 3 injuring his shoulder then kicked him out of the ring,

He attacked the surprised duo a one sided beating began and left them with multiple cuts them Siya kicked the kicked them the stage ,by then there was only 2 people left in the ring but they were already injured. They also attacked Siya together as he looked fresh .

he stated blocking and defending.

One attacked Siya with an overhead chop the other slashing at his side. Siya swung up his sword sending a energy wave to block the side attack while taking on the over head chop with his sword .

He then moved back fast avoiding the second attack from the side, then landed a kick on his opponents side knocking him off.

Then he clashed with the 2nd swordman exchanging several blows just as he was starting to deal good damage ,got disrupted by the second one who attacked his back forcing Siya to abandon the offence and dodge . Gathering Qi in his sword Siya finally used a battle art ,his sword turned silver ,sword art 7 flashes of the silver sword ,he attacked.

First flash sword draw using a quick draw he started attacking one opponent fast catching him by surprise. Hurriedly trying to block wasn't a success as he got blow away with diagonal slash on the chest. He moved again attacking the second guy from the side ,second flash Side swipe the attack connected deeply injuring his opponent .

He moved looked back and saw the first guy had recovered and was attacked, dodging to the side he avoided a blazing sword the counter attacked with side swipe injuring his opponent then kicking him off the ring. Turning back to the other guy I found to have his sword the second guy conceded the fight .

winner of this fight Siya Thema Elder Zhan announced before shifting his focus to the second ring that had an odd five left in battle , couple minutes later one guy had won and winner of the match Zed Subaya .

Zed walked of the stage confidently with a few light injuries on him.
