"Senior, let's go!"
At around ten o'clock, Ethan appeared in the common room and invited the senior sitting on the sofa.
I can let the senior spend time with me alone at night, my damn charm.
"Let's go!"
Penelope stretched out her hand for Ethan to pull her up and followed him out of the common room.
In Hogwarts, she wasn't worried that Ethan would betray her.
After going down the spiral staircase, Ethan took out the Marauder's Map.
"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good!"
Pointing his wand at the Marauder's Map and reciting the password, lines of ink appeared on the parchment, showing Filch on the west side of the third floor and Dumbledore still in his office on the eighth floor.
Penelope, witnessing everything with her own eyes, was truly shocked. Such a thing that can show everyone's location in Hogwarts—wasn't this an invasion of privacy?
No wonder Ethan dared to go out for a night tour so boldly. With this map, it would be strange if he got caught.
There was just one thing Penelope couldn't figure out. It made sense for a pureblood to have such an enchanted item, but Ethan was born a Muggle like her. Where did he get it from?
Given how worn it was, it must have been quite old.
Noticing Penelope's puzzled expression, Ethan explained:
"This is called the Marauder's Map. You activate it by reciting the password I just gave. You can see how it works. This map was made by Hogwarts students who have already graduated. Fred and George Weasley found it and gave it to me."
"Fred Weasley and George Weasley?"
Even though they were not in the same year, Penelope had heard of the famous twins at Hogwarts.
They were notorious for their point deductions.
And their brother, Percy Weasley, had expressed his interest in her in the third grade, but she had rejected him.
"That's them!"
"Are you close to them?"
This was clearly a rare enchanted item, and no one would just hand it over casually.
Ethan and the twins had no obvious connection. They were from different houses and years, one born a Muggle and the other pureblood. How could they have intersected?
"Very familiar. We went to Hogsmeade together this afternoon!"
"You also went to Hogsmeade?"
Penelope found she couldn't understand Ethan more and more.
What did he think of the Hogwarts rules to make sure he was a Ravenclaw and not a Gryffindor?
"Yes, is there a problem with that?"
Ethan nodded calmly.
"Do you know that I am a prefect? How dare you say that in front of me?"
Penelope sighed. In front of this junior, her dignity as a prefect seemed completely diminished.
"Senior, are you going to tell Professor Flitwick?"
Ethan turned his head and looked at Penelope with a smile.
Penelope patted Ethan's shoulder, looked into his eyes, and said with a smile:
"Next time, I'll take you there!"
Indeed, the senior is the most charming!
The two chatted as they walked all the way to the eighth floor.
"Are you taking me to the principal's office?"
Penelope didn't know what else was on the eighth floor besides the principal's office.
And if you practiced magic anywhere on the eighth floor, any noise would probably alert Dumbledore.
"Just follow me!"
Ethan continued to lead the way until he stopped opposite the giant statue of Barnabas the Barmy.
"Room of Requirement, have you heard of it, senior?"
"Room of Requirement?"
Penelope couldn't believe it. What place would dare to say it was all Requirement?
"Walk back and forth in front of this wall three times, and it will respond to the room you need in your heart. And everyone in Hogwarts knows that I don't like this place."
"Don't worry, senior, I know. Let me see if it's really that magical."
Penelope said, and walked back and forth three times. A smooth door appeared on the wall out of thin air.
Ethan didn't know what room she was thinking of and followed Penelope with curiosity.
"Are you a little girl?"
Ethan couldn't help but comment, as this really changed his impression of Penelope.
He thought it would be a room for practicing magic or full of books, but it turned out to be a crystal palace from a fairy tale.
"Any questions?"
Penelope was quite excited to visit it.
As a child, she had always dreamed of a castle and crystal palace. It was a pity that the castle at Hogwarts was practical and didn't fulfill a princess's dream.
After exploring, Penelope and Ethan opened a room for practicing magic together.
Originally, Ethan wanted to separate from Penelope, but she insisted on staying in the same room.
"Senior, drink this and try it!"
Ethan handed a small bottle of green potion to Penelope.
This was the finished potion that Ethan had guided Michael and the others to make before coming here. Ethan wanted Penelope to help promote it after trying it.
Even if a first-year wizard praised the potion, few would believe and buy it, especially since it cost five gold galleons per bottle.
But the prefect was different. Her credibility in Ravenclaw was high.
"What potion is this?"
Penelope held the potion and shook it for a long time but couldn't identify it.
"Love potion!"
"Really? I don't believe it!"
Penelope swallowed it in one gulp. She knew what a love potion was and this wasn't its color.
"Baruffio's Brain Elixir. If you practice magic or study, you'll see the effect."
Ethan reminded her that it only lasted for a short twenty minutes.
"I've been learning the Shield Charm recently. Let me try it."
After receiving the advice and a hearty meal, Penelope immediately began practicing.
The Shield Charm, which many graduates struggle with, is considered very difficult. However, if you want to join the Auror selection, you must know it.
Penelope planned to try for the Auror assessment after graduating. Other magical departments were out of reach, but Aurors, though difficult to become, had a glimmer of hope.
Ethan practiced Fiendfyre Blaze, aiming to reach the maximum level first, and practiced Mjolnir at the same time.
Originally, she was practicing Iron Armor, but suddenly felt a heatwave and saw Ethan's scene, Penelope was stunned. Could first-years really use fire magic?
And why was the huge thunder hammer so confusing?
Were they sure they attended the same magic school?
At the end of the practice, as the flames began to dissipate, Penelope dared to approach Ethan.
"Ethan, what magic did you just use?"
Handing a handkerchief to Ethan to wipe his sweat, Penelope asked curiously.
Some magic is inherited and not easily revealed, but Ethan was born a Muggle like her!
"The Fiendfyre Curse and Mjolnir. The latter is considered ancient magic!"
The Fiendfyre Curse is dark magic, but not an Unforgivable Curse.
Hogwarts does not teach dark magic, but using it is not illegal.
Only harming others violates the rules. (Senior purebloods probably know one or two dark spells, excluding the Unforgivable Curses.)
"I know the Fiendfyre Curse. Is Mjolnir Thor's hammer?"
Penelope saw the record of the Fiendfyre Curse in the Ravenclaw library, but there was no specific learning method. The description said learning was not difficult, but control was the challenge. It seemed Ethan controlled it well!
And Mjolnir, Thor's hammer, Penelope knew from Norse mythology. It was popular in Europe, especially in Britain, which had overlapping cultures with Northern Europe.
"What about this potion?"
She didn't want to dwell on it. She was curious why Ethan had given her the potion.
The effect was indeed impressive. During that time, she felt her brain was particularly flexible, noticing points she hadn't before.
"Baruffio's Brain Elixir, five gold galleons a bottle. If you sell a bottle, I'll give you one gold galleon. How about it?"
This way, Ethan would make a net profit of almost three gold galleons per bottle. Frogs aren't worth much, but the oil used is relatively expensive, almost one gold galleon per portion.
Besides the hard work of several roommates, one gold galleon per portion, and if well controlled, one portion could yield five bottles.
Penelope and the Weasley twins could help sell. The twins were quite popular in Gryffindor.
"So you want the senior to help you with sales!"
Penelope stared at Ethan with a smile.
But there was no reason to refuse: "Of course, no problem!"
It cost five gold galleons for just twenty minutes, which was indeed a bit expensive. Penelope herself would definitely not buy it.
But the rich purebloods or half-bloods were not among them. She knew how anxious her classmates were about their exams. If they knew about this potion, they would definitely buy it.
The profit from this was substantial.
It could be said that it was essentially giving money to herself.
