The holiday life was pleasant, even for Lynn. Being able to perform alchemy without outside disturbances was a special pleasure. 

After returning to Rowle Castle, Lynn spent three days and nights to replenish his stock of Dampening Magic Fire, then continued to the next alchemical step.

This time, Lynn would combine magic alchemy and array alchemy. First, he had to refine a proto-embryo from various raw materials - one with high magic adaptability to carry and transmit large amounts of magic. Lynn planned to shape this proto-embryo into an arm guard.

Unlike gloves that needed removing for eating, an arm guard alchemy device wouldn't hinder Lynn's daily activities. He could wear it consistently.

For this alchemy, Lynn prepared thoroughly, gathering over ten different alchemy materials - a stark contrast to his hasty previous glove refining. Besides metals and ores, he included many magical animal materials.

"Swish!" Lynn waved his left hand, conjuring a ball of flame from thin air. His right hand, gripping his wand, shook slightly as he cast a silent floating charm. The assembled materials rose one by one into the magical fire.

Flame and alchemy intersected, tempering and fusing the ingredients into a new alchemical product. Soon, a flexible golden metal appeared, shining with red runes and flickering in and out of visibility from the magic fluctuations.

Lynn had reached the final stage of this magic alchemy, his skill rivaling the finest French alchemists despite a year's less experience - all thanks to his tutor, Nicolas Flamel himself.

Under Lynn's control, the flames licked every corner of the magic metal, gently forcing its continuous transformation. It soon shaped into a golden arm guard covered in red runes. Though not yet array-enchanted, the inner side bore a naturally-formed invisibility rune, activated by Lynn's magic power to cloak the embryo.

This invisibility rune stemmed from the invisible beast fur, a naturally-occurring alchemical rune that Lynn could not manually engrave.

Completing the embryo's refinement, Lynn exhaled deeply and retracted the flames. The alchemy itself was quick, but refining this arm guard took three full days and nights of continuous spellcasting - draining his magic reserves.

Lynn's pale face showed his weariness as he ate the food Gale the house-elf provided and absorbed the magic stone's power to replenish himself. Without an alchemical device, his absorption efficiency was abysmal - for every 1% gained, 99% dissipated uselessly into the air. In battle, he may be unable to replenish his magic fast enough to match his expenditure.

After resting most of the day, Lynn resumed his alchemy efforts. He still had to use array alchemy to enchant the arm guard embryo, engraving the intricate arrays.

Four more days passed in this intricate work. With a wave of his wand, Lynn concealed at least a hundred densely-packed arrays within the arm guard itself - just as the Mirror of Erised's arrays hid inside the mirror, a secret technique Lynn mastered as a powerful array alchemist.

"It's done!" Lynn exhaled, his satisfied smile masking his near-total magic depletion. Gently brushing away alchemical dust, he cradled the arm guard like a precious treasure before donning it on his right arm.

Tapping it with his wand, a crack opened in the arm guard's center, revealing an inner groove connected to each individual array by thin golden threads. Lynn carefully inserted a bright red magic stone gem - it fit the groove perfectly.

As the groove resealed and the crack vanished in a golden flash, Lynn felt an influx of power from the embedded magic stone, now available through his arm guard! The over 100 engraved arrays included techniques for optimally controlling this power.

"From now on, I shall call you the Devil's Authority !" Lynn proclaimed, nodding with satisfaction. Equipped with the magic stone, he felt possessed of god-like power to create or destroy worlds on a whim!

Of course, this sensation merely stemmed from abruptly gaining so much magical might. In reality, Lynn estimated he could now battle Professor Wallison Green without disadvantage!
