Chapter 37: Snow-white figure

Professor Green was a little surprised but did not reject Lynn's request for a gun. As early as a year ago when he went to Hogwarts to teach, Dumbledore had revealed in conversation that Voldemort might not be truly dead. However, as a wizard and alchemist, Lynn could not only strengthen his power through magic but also refine equipment with alchemy to enhance it. He could even enchant the Desert Eagle through array alchemy to reduce its weight and recoil.

Therefore, in Professor Green's opinion, if Lynn wanted the most suitable gun, the Desert Eagle was undoubtedly an extremely fitting choice.

Lynn nodded happily, looking forward to obtaining this weapon. So Professor Green patted his head and said, "No problem, you go buy your textbooks first, and I'll send your gift to Rowle Manor by owl before you start at Hogwarts."

After deciding on Lynn's gift, Professor Green waved his wand and disapparated from the Leaky Cauldron.

Lynn then entered the Leaky Cauldron, planning to access Diagon Alley through the entrance in the backyard. Old Tom, the bartender, was still standing there. After Lynn greeted him, he headed towards the backyard.

However, Old Tom unexpectedly followed him. When young wizards first came to Diagon Alley, they received guidance from Old Tom. On subsequent visits, they only needed to pass through by themselves, as the Leaky Cauldron had too much business for Tom to personally assist every student.

So Old Tom's behavior seemed strange to Lynn. When Lynn asked, Old Tom smiled bitterly and explained, "Last month, I don't know which young wizard misaligned the trash can lids, nearly leaving my backyard full of wizards unable to enter Diagon Alley. So during this period, I have to keep an eye on this place myself."

Lynn couldn't help but chuckle at the amusing situation. After nodding to Old Tom, he opened the passage to Diagon Alley and entered.

The process of purchasing new textbooks and magic materials went smoothly. Lynn also bought some materials needed for alchemy. The price of these alchemy ingredients was not expensive, as no one except alchemists could use them, and there were very few alchemists in the UK. With oversupply, their prices naturally couldn't be very high.

Perhaps these alchemy materials could fetch over ten times the price if exported to the French wizarding world. But according to the current conservative British magic society, except for some illegal private international Portkey makers, no one would engage in such business.

After completing his purchases, Lynn found the house-elf Gale, who had been waiting in an alley per their agreed letter, and returned to Rowle Manor through Gale's Apparition.

Back at Rowle Manor, Lynn began organizing necessities for the new Hogwarts term. In addition to materials for studying magic and alchemy, he needed to prepare more raw ingredients to refine greater quantities of the Magic-Dampening Flame. For now, his Magic-Dampening Flame was his biggest trump card, far exceeding even his ability to cast spells non-verbally and without a wand.

Therefore, he would refine the Magic-Dampening Flame like Han Xin selecting soldiers - the more, the better!

The day before departing for King's Cross Station, the Desert Eagle sent by Professor Green via owl was finally delivered to Rowle Manor. After opening the package, Lynn obtained the gun body, some replacement parts, an instruction manual, and 100 bullets gifted by Professor Green.

At the bottom was also a letter from Professor Green, suggesting Lynn try enchanting the Desert Eagle's body and 100 bullets simultaneously to make them more powerful. Lynn accepted the advice and planned to try refining them the first night after arriving at Hogwarts Castle.

Soon the school day arrived. With Gale's help, Lynn apparated to King's Cross Station and passed through the barrier to Platform 9 3⁄4.

Not long after entering the platform, he saw the Weasley twins rushing in from the other side, pushing a trolley.

"Lynn!" Fred and George both greeted him warmly.

"Lynn, we still don't understand the Muggle electrical knowledge you sent us over summer break. Are you sure it has something to do with alchemy?" George asked, somewhat annoyed.

During the July holiday, Lynn had sent them a book containing electrical concepts from his previous life as a Muggle, believing learning electricity first could help grasp array alchemy more easily.

Lynn nodded affirmatively. "Of course! With your impatient tempers, you certainly can't understand it yet. Go back and study it carefully. When you do, I reckon you'll be on the threshold of alchemy!"

Fred spread his hands. "We just like fun--"

"--can't stand boredom," George continued their typical twin banter. 

Suddenly, two more figures emerged through the barrier. One boy had the same red hair as the Weasley twins, while the other had black hair, glasses, and an unmistakable lightning-bolt scar on his forehead - Ron Weasley and Harry Potter.

Just as Lynn was about to board the train, he glimpsed another figure rush through the barrier from the corner of his eye. This was a very beautiful girl with striking silver-blonde hair. 

Silver-blonde hair? Was she a Veela? But where had a Veela come from at Hogwarts?! Seeing this, Lynn couldn't help but pause, his mind filled with doubts.
