I was less nervous than what I had expected to be, walking into the chamber where me and Hermione had fallen to possibly the darkest light wizard that the magical world had ever seen.

It was a mixed feeling that I was having right about now.

Though this was where we met our end, this was also the place where I received my second chance.

The very first thing I noticed upon entering was the missing Fawkes. When I first entered the chambers in the previous life, I was blessed to witness the rebirth of Fawkes.

This time I could not help but stop and think about how I too received my rebirth in the chamber where a Phoenix dwelled.

In the words of Dumble's himself " Powerful magic always leaves its mark. "

A place where such a pure creature resided was bound to have some magic that had seeped into the surrounding itself.

Since coming back I always thought the power that brought me back was the ancient connection that I still had as the rightful owner of the elder wand. I thought that there was some kind of fail-safe activated by the wand itself to protect the death of its master.

I knew that it has never happened before that the elder wand did anything to protect its owner from ever getting killed given its bloody history, but maybe the fact that I was the only wizard to ever truly possess all three hallows at the same time had caused a reaction.

In the forest, when I activated the resurrection stone, I had affectively been actively using all three hallows.

I had used the stone; I was wearing the cloak and I had already won the allegiance of the elder wand (though unknowing at that time).

This meant that I was the first true master of death, if the stories were to be believed.

Even if that was just a tale, it was true that such powerful magic objects that were deemed to be myths and legends, were in fact very much a reality and I had been in their possession.

Ollivander's always said " It's the wand that chooses the wizard, nobody knows why but this much has been always clear to those of us who study wand lore"

When I was confronted by Voldi in the chase, it was my wand that had counteracted on my behalf to save my life.

Ollivander had explained that it might be because the wand remembers and acted purely on instinct.

This had led me to believe that the elder wand had done the same when it sensed my impending doom.

Now that I stood in this chamber once again, staring at the perch where Fawkes usually resided, I could not help but think that the magic of the Phoenix may have something to do with making my rebirth possible alongside the wand.

While I was thinking I heard my name being called from above.

Dumble's " Ah!!! Harry my boy, I see you have arrived. No need to be so nervous, come have a seat. I believe you too are scared and confused about all that is happening currently."

There he stood, my goal for coming back.

There was a distinct twinkling in his eyes, a proud look on his face and the ever-hanging grandfather smile on plastered on his face.

Me being caught up in my thoughts must have looked as if I was a bit disoriented which had led him to believe that I was shocked and confused about what I had just witnessed in the corridor.

I was not foolish enough to correct him and therefore made no further comments. I walked forward and sat on the chair opposite the headmaster's desk.

Me " I swear headmaster that I had nothing to do with the petrification's that have been happening around the castle. I do not know myself how I was able to speak a language that I had no idea ever existed to begin with. I do not wish to bring any harm to the students, be they muggle or magical and certainly not to ghosts and cats."

Seeing that I was in such a hurry to explain myself there was a visible smirk on his face, even if it was only for a mere moment.

Dumble's " I believe you Harry. I do not think that you or for that matter any second-year student of this school is advanced enough to do this even if they wished to. The reason I had Minerva bring you here was to let you know that this is being thoroughly investigated by every staff in the school and it will soon be over, so you should relax and focus on living normally."

It seems that my acting had paid off and Dumble's was still under the illusion that the boy standing in front of him was as ignorant as he wished him to be.

Dumble's finally let me leave.

By the time I arrived at the Gryffindor common room, the tale had already spread on how I was caught red-handed and then taken to the headmaster's office for interrogation and how it was a high possibility that I would be caught and sent to Azkaban.

It was well and good for me. I paid no attention to them and moved towards my room.

Hermione and Neville did try to talk to me, but since I had an act to put on, I ignored them and went to my room.

The days after that were again a blur.

As was expected, Malfoy Sr. had come barging into the castle with a signed petition from the board to remove Dumble's from his position. The only difference was the lack of Dobby by his side.

The ministry aurors had also paid a visit to the school and taken Hagrid into custody.

It all seemed to be coming together for the final showdown in the chambers.

I knew that Voldi was waiting for just this chance to resurrect back. The only thing holding him back (or so he thought) was the presence of Dumble's in the castle. With him gone he had virtually no one who could oppose him and the beast once he resurrects.

Yes, he would be less powerful than he wished since he was resurrecting from a fragment that he made at his weakest, but that was still more powerful than most wizards got in their lifetimes.

Plus, once he resurrects, he still had one of his most loyal followers still in the school (or so he thought) that would take care of the rest when he senses the return of his master.

I too knew that it was time to gear up for the final fight.
