I can't even sleep know my unborn child will be taken any time soon and this doesn't seem to affect Hardin in any visible way".

Oh Lord please help me with this

I don't even know when tears start to fall and l silent sob myself to sleep. Hardin started shaking his head in a very angry way.

"Brittany!! If you know you want to cry there are several rooms around for that"." So will you be kind enough to switch off the lamp and let me relax in peace?

I honestly don't even know what to say. If only that incident never occurs. My eyes started giving up and within a few minutes if gave up.

Next Morning

The sun is already peeping through the curtains.

Another Morning in the Greyson Mansion.

"Good morning Hardin", I said absent-mindedly forgetting that l was upset with his decision last night

I turn and saw an empty a blank and cold. Where is Hardin? My mind was aimlessly wandering around and finally settled on the fancy wall clock.

"Finally, see him coming out of the Wall wardrobe. wait he is ready for work". What will he eat and why is he up early?

The bedside time says 8:28:08 am

Oh my God Oh God

What is the fastest food to cook

"Good morning," I said in my regular morning voice

He just ignore it and left the room.

I quickly adjust my nightgown although it is a little exposing but who cares its only me and Hardin.

**kitchen***

Hardin was already preparing some sandwiches when l step into the kitchen.

"Hmm, Let me help with the fruit and vegetables". I try making a conversation with him but again he ignored it effortlessly.

Why is he upset with me?

"I will serve the Orange juice do you want the freshly sweet or the regular juice".

Again he said nothing

"I would like fresh Orange juice, please". I heard a  familiar  voice from behind

My smile widens when I recognise the voice. Just when I want to turn and hug him Hardin hug instead and tell Denise "She will prepare it.

"why don't you go to the areas Denis understand that and took it as a clue to leave".

I was enjoying the warm hug when he pull back and said

"Go and change. wear something decent enough for breakfast". with that, he continues making the sandwiches

I went to change my outfit and wear comfy clothes.  I don't know why I feel tired and weak.

I tiredly went to the dining area. The breakfast looks amazing but the aroma made me lose my appetite.

"Come Brittany Denis said in a sweet voice".I just smile in return and start eating.

It was awful quiet and Denise tried starting small talk but Hardin didn't even give it enough humour and I, on the other hand, was thinking about Abortion and online College.

Brit! Brittany!

Eat up you are looking a look a little pale.

"Am eating Denise just don't get enough appetite to eat much"

I continue eating at a faster pace

this time just to satisfy him

I suddenly feel the urge to throw up and took a gup of water

Umph!Umph!!

I quickly rush to the bathroom

And threw up. I sluggishly wash my face and brush my teeth.

When I enter the bedroom I saw a worry on both Denise and Hardin faces.

Are you ok Brit? Why did you throw up?is it food poison? Are you preggo?

I could help but smile.

To start with I am fine ... I just throw up.    it's nothing serious.

Can you tell me the symptoms you notice at least a day or two back?

Hmm, I feel tired, I have a weird craving, I feel dizzy at times and I threw up today.

Wow. That is so much to take in.

If you don't mind. When last Are you sexually active

Goodness! It slipped my mind that Denis was a medical student ... Although I don't like talking about it.  I have a feeling this might be God bless or something

Hm! That will be last month app.3 weeks ago

That will be 5 weeks ago.

I think you are pregnant Brittany. He say and hugged me.

I just smile at least someone is happy about the arrival of God's blessings.

"I will leave you too for now".

As Denise left the room. Hardin looks annoyed.

He quickly pack his office bag and mumbled

"Take good care of yourself and rest well".

Denise and I are going to Greyson's company.

***Later in the day*****

I was studying in relaxing in the garden when I receive Dorcas call (Dorcas is Hardin stepmother)

D:Hi Brittany

B: Hello mom, How are you doing

D:Am very fine. She said in a happy voice and she seems to be excited about something

B: you sound so excited, mom. Tell me what is.

D: When are you planning on telling me

B: Telling you what.. please explain

D: That you are expecting a child.

What are you going to be a mother

B: Smile...I was going to make it a surprise

D: But Denise already told me about it and is so happy.

B: Thank you so much, Mom.

D:I would like to see both of you before the Company It has been a long since I have seen both of you

B:I would also like to come over but you know Hardin have lots of deals to sign and meeting to attend. But I will talk to him about it and please give him a call later.

D:it so lovely hearing from you. Congratulations on again dear. God bless you.

B: Amen... Alright mom.
