Hall Of Fame System

The Hall Of Fame, also known as the HOF, is a title given to athletes who have had a major impact or influence on a sport in a particular era. Kein Jr, or more commonly known as Nicolas Kein, has the desire to follow in the footsteps of his father, Anthony Kein, as an athlete to hold the title. It's just that there was a slight difference when Nicolas Kein chose to become a professional basketball player. That did not make his father, a former footballer, angry or force his son to continue on his path. Nicolas Kein went his own way after witnessing the glamour of basketball. He idolised the greatest three-point shooter in history, Stephen Curry. Nicolas Kein's determination and desire was further fueled when his family died in a plane crash while visiting his home country. Much of his father's legacy has been instrumental in his life as an athlete. But his journey has been filled with obstacles that he never expected during his basketball career, in order to earn a Hall Of Fame title like his father. *** The knee injury meant that Kein had no chance of playing in the Finals event that would have seen his team fly to America for the world competition. As a result, frustration shattered his mind and mentality and after his team's losing match, Kein received news from the national hospital that his family had an accident and died. Kein was increasingly helpless in the face of the harsh realities of his life. Losing the match in the final could be reclaimed another time, but what about the lives of their family? As time passed, he realised that he had found a capsule on the table in his room and ate it without regard for his health. Unexpectedly, the capsule flowed into his body and brought up a screen with his identity. ‘What is this? Why is a hologram with my identity appearing in front of my eyes?’ That morning was Nicolas Kein's first foray into the Hall Of Fame as a power-obsessed athlete. Perseverance, rage, and revenge will be guided by the ‘System’ of the mysterious capsule.

Drowsiness and Expulsion

"Curse me! How am I supposed to focus on the lesson when my brain is telling me to go back to rest?"

Kein grabbed his wet hair, regretting his trivial mistake but the resulting consequences were quite fatal because today was one of his least favourite lessons. Not to mention that the teacher was really complicated in explaining and further encouraged him to sleep in class.

But those were just the thoughts of a bad student. Kein felt that he was not like that.

Glancing at the wall clock in the corner of the room, there was half an hour left before the first lesson started. Kein hurriedly dried his whole body, and put on his uniform. Then headed to the canteen and tried to fill his stomach to the brim, figuring out how to keep himself from getting sleepy and be able to follow the lesson at least until lunch break.

After breakfast and heading to class, he ran along the hallway because he didn't expect it to take that long to finish two portions of food than usual. Once in front of the class, she accidentally slammed the classroom door, startling her friends who had been laughing with their jokes. Suddenly there was silence and their eyes were fixed on her, there was a slight feeling of her heart beating fast.

Kein rubbed his chest, thinking he was late. From the classroom door, he could see the digital clock showing that the early lesson would start in two minutes.

"You bastard, don't surprise us, mate!"

One friend cheered him on, and the others followed suit. Some even went so far as to throw their writing utensils and retrieve them after the perpetrator had taken his seat.

"You're not usually late. Did you oversleep? Your face seems to say that your body needs more sleep." Sherla who was sitting in front of him instantly turned round and asked.

"You don't usually ask about me. Is there something you want?"

"Alright, my bad. I'm sorry." The conversation lasted no more than five seconds and Sherla couldn't force it even though there was no ill will behind the question.

Meanwhile, Damian just looked on silently. His body was facing the blackboard but his head was slightly to the side and his eyeballs were clearly watching his friend who was putting his head on his head. Kein noticed Damian's silly behaviour but didn't have the energy to confront him.

During the lesson, none of them were unenthusiastic except Kein who tried to listen to the lesson with his consciousness almost collapsed. His eyes blinked repeatedly and his head seemed to be throbbing. The dizziness caused by lack of sleep was not a problem to be underestimated.

But a lesson is still a lesson. He has to follow the flow and tempo of different teachers. Even a teacher with a positive spirit and mind could not bring his mind back to clarity.

Kein sometimes took the opportunity to put his head on the table. At least he could rest for three to five minutes to get rid of sleepiness for a while. But his efforts were in vain. While he was trying to sleep, his friend, who had angered him, kept throwing small pieces of paper that were compacted into a ball. Although it didn't hurt, it still felt like something was bothering his head.

Unable to stand his friend's behaviour, Kein clucked loudly enough that his teacher suddenly turned around, making sure none of his students tried to interrupt him during the explanation of one of the incomprehensible materials in one explanation.

"What are you doing? Why did you fall asleep?" Damian hissed softly while Sherla next to him looked at them.

Kein did not reply. He picked up one of the papers at his feet, and wrote a message to his roommate, then threw it back to its previous owner.

Damian opened the paper. He could see a message that almost made him laugh.

(Stop throwing, you idiot. I'm sleepy from taking a hot shower. Just focus on what's in front of you!)

Not forgetting the stern warning to his friend that almost made him angry a second time. Kein clenched his fist at Damian in a low-level threatening gesture. There was no fear so there was a small snicker and that got the first warning from the teacher.

Passing the first lesson uneasily, in the next lesson Kein couldn't help but feel sleepy. Even during the lesson change, he was already asleep and no one could wake him up despite Damian and Sherla poking his skin with pens.

The teacher, who was known to have patience as thin as tissue, was no barrier for Kein when he was playing his role as a basketball athlete in the dream world. It wasn't long before the teacher noticed that a student had fallen asleep in class, and as a first warning, Kein was reprimanded. But a reprimand can become a threat if the one delivering it doesn't filter his words.

He woke up from his dream and tried to open his eyes as wide as possible even though he didn't care whether the material delivered entered his brain or not.

On the next attempt, Kein fell asleep again, although the teacher's threats did not dissipate his sleepiness until Kein fell asleep for another five minutes.

Seeing her student's outrageous level, the teacher picked up a blackboard marker. He unceremoniously threw it at Kein. Before her hand moved, the students already wanted to scream hysterically to wake up their friend. But what could they do, they just closed their mouths and watched the marker fly right into his hand.

At that moment, Kein woke up with his eyes red as blood. His friends also witnessed the mess and their friend's inability to follow this lesson. However, they regretted it as the current teacher would not spare her students.

As they expected, Kein was ordered by his teacher to wash his face. It was thought to relieve drowsiness even if only for a moment. Following his teacher's orders, Kein left the classroom with a slightly aching body and bent over. Arriving at the front of the class, he did not expect that the door in front of him was locked.

Kein had tried repeatedly to open the door and called out to his friends and teacher. But there was no answer from them and the Science teacher continued explaining without caring about the voice of the student who asked for help to open the door.

"Next time, you all will suffer the same fate as me if you fall asleep in class. Understand?!"

Her aura was so terrifying that none of them tried to argue.
