Elgos family II

"we are dead" mion mumbled, his face covered in sweat, and he looked as though he had seen death himself.

this was the first time that nic had seen mion like this, he often thought that this kid was simply fearless.

but now mion looked like an empty shell, fear have drained his prideful demeanor.

"why are you afraid, aren't they the pillars of humanity as you said, you are royalty of a human kingdom" nic was confused by the way mion was acting, afterall he was not the one that had killed the guildmembers so their was no reason for him to be afraid.

"shut up!, they can still be listening" mion shouted at nic, this made nic alittle angry but when he looked at mion face, he can see that it was the fear that was talking.

nic then walked over to mion, mion however did not move as his mind was in panick, having to run from one of the pillars of humanity he would no longer be accepted in no human kingdom.

but that was not all, if the Elgos family finds his family they would all be dead, that included his little brother that he loved dearly.

he then suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder, he looked at the hand and saw it was badly burnt, it looked very hideous.

mion eyes were stuck on the wounded arm, and the thought of seeing his brother entire body being burnt like this to his death came to his mind.

mion suddenly screamed out as though he had seen a ghost, but in the same instant he was meet with a painful slap to his face.

"ah, what did you do that for?" mion looked at nic as he rubbed his cheek.

but when he looked at nic he saw that of a smile that went from cheek to cheek, "see, now your better"

nic now felt better that mion was back to his usual self.

"now tell me all you know about this Elgos family" nic said as he sat down infront of mion.

behind him was phyora that was layed flat on the ground, it looked like a campfire as it burned away the souls of the members of the sunset guild, its raging flames gave a bright light to the cavern.

"gasp" mion then take a deep breath as he had totally calmed down, he then put on a cheeky smile as he looked at nic, with this mans cheats their was no reason for him to worry, he thought as he looked at nic.

"you see in this world we humans are the weakest, out of every race, we have the shortest lifespan, a elf can have 500 yrs to train in life while we only have 80 to 90, and lifespan ain't the only thing, some races like the beastmen are born with incredible strength and power, some races dont even need gifts, but we are a different story, we are weak, and our strength comes from only gifts, 10 000 yrs ago it had been recorded in the great documents that this world was once in a great war"

"war?, I have never heard of such" nic was confused, he loved to read books, how can he not have known of ancient wars, but the thing is all the history books he read stated that in that time period their was the contract of great peace, although it was a short contract that only lasted a 100 yrs, in this time thier was no wars between the races.

"ofcourse you have not, this is classified information that was passed on from the ancestors of rosevolt kingdom"

nic then recalled that mion was a prince of rosevolt, although rosevolt was not a major kingdom, it was around for a long period of time.

"this war was the reason for the creation of the peace contract that was set to unit all kingdoms to fight against this enemy, they said that this enemy was an unknown race that appeared from absolutely nowhere, they had unusual powers and 1 member from this race was able to fight against 10 of our knights single handedly, they were acknowledged as the god race, and were feared by each kingdom, forcing them to unit against the enemy, in this fight humanity was always on the front lines, we were useless and could not even defend our own kingdoms, we were used as slaves on both sides and were nothing but waste in the eyes of the strong, in this time we did not even have one knight that belonged to humanity, and were not even skilled in using our gifts, but that all changed when the ally races thought they had no hope, and the enemy was about to kill the last of our kingdoms knights, 55 strong individuals appeared and turned the fight around, these individuals were not only powerful but were godly as they displayed their gifts, they said one was even able to control the air and create tornadoes capable of ripping mountains apart, these became the heroes of the war, but that wasn't all, as 10 of these members were humans, these 10 humans went on to free their people and take back lands that were taking by the enemy, then on the 6th day of the heroes appearance the enemies simply vanished"

"they vanish!?, how can that be, what about the corpse of the enemies that were defeated?" nic said as he was trying to milk out as much information out of mion as possible.

mion looked at him with a serious expression, "their was never any, all of them the enemies men that died simply fade away as though they were made out of dust"

nic was shocked, to not only cause a war that forced all races to unite, but to also be able to hide your existence so well, he gasped as he felt lucky that this was only history, he still could not believe that one person can fight 10 knights and just thought of it as mion exaggerating.

"back to the important stuff, the reason I brought this topic up was because these 10 human heroes are the forefathers of the ten pillars of humanity, each master is said to have been blessed with the same gift as their forefathers, and with the information passed down about these gifts for 10000 years, it makes each of their current masters stronger than the last, right now the strongest man in this world is said to be a human, he is the number 1 knight and is said to be known as The Untouchable, he is the master of Gates family, the most powerful of the pillars of humanity"

"so what rank is the master of Elgos?" nic asked as their was where his curiosity paid most of its attention, afterall they were the ones that may want him dead.

"she is ranked 27, and she is known for her uncontrollable anger, they call her the unjudged for out of all the 10 masters, she is known to have done the most heinous of crimes" mion mumbled as his face darkened once more.
