Chess

The two got into the house and Hailey went upstairs. She entered the bedroom and landed softly on the bed with her arms spread wide. She was tired and exhausted. She stared at the ceiling while thinking about the picnic they had earlier. Hailey smiled while she thought.

She knew it and couldn't deny the fact that she was beginning to fall in love with Jeremy. While lost in her own thoughts, she dozed off. Jeremy came to the room and met the sleeping damsel. He adjusted her into the bed properly.

"She must probably be very tired!" He thought to himself. He went to bathroom. After he freshened up, he left the room.

By the time Hailey woke up, it was already past six. She stretched out her arms and went to the bathroom. She had a warm bath and relaxed her muscles. She spent over twelve minutes in the bathroom. She got out of the bath tub and went to get dressed. She wore a black lacy lingerie. Hailey went downstairs and met Jeremy in the living room accessing documents in his laptop.

"I see you're really busy!" She said to him.

"Not that busy. I'm just scanning through some files the nurse transferred to me. It contains some patients information." He explained to her.

"Oh okay!" The butler came to inform them about dinner.

"Go and have dinner Hailey, I'll be with you soon." He said to her and Hailey obediently left him and went to the dinning room for dinner.

She served herself and began to eat. Jeremy came and joibed her few minutes later. The duo ate dinner in silence. When they were done, they both left the dinning room and headed back to the living room where they were before dinner. They sat down on a sofa. They were there for a few minutes and Hailey was getting really bored by the unusual silence between them.

"Jeremy, let's do something!" She said to him.

"Something like what?" He asked.

"Uhmm. Let's play a game!" She answered.

"What game?" He asked again.

"Chess! Let's play chess!" She said with excitement and went to brought out the chess she had found beside the sofa.

"Here it is Jeremy!" She said to him and Jeremy flashed a wicked smile.

"Hailey you've made a big mistake by choosing this game!" He said to her.

"Why?" She asked confused.

"Because I'll definitely win. You can't defeat me when it comes to a game like chess!" .He boasted and Hailey laughed.

"Really Jeremy?" He simply nodded.

"Well, we'll see about that!" She said to him.

Jeremy and Hailey arranged the chess board. He chose the black and Hailey chose the white. The first game was intense. Hailey tried but she couldn't surpass him. Jeremy was way too smart.

"Checkmate!" He exclaimed with a huge smile of victory.

"Not fair!" She said.

"I told you. It's impossible for you to beat me when it comes to chess!" He said laughing.

"Okay fine. You're the best!" She admitted.

The duo played another round and Jeremy still won. Hailey gave up. It was past her bedtime. She ended the game with Jeremy and went to bed.
