Jeremy and Hailey got to their seats and sat down. Kevin came to meet them.

"Woah guys! You guys were on fire. How did you even come up with that? I must admit, the dance was very nice." He said to them.

"Thank you Kevin." Hailey replied.

"I never knew my friend was such a good dancer!" he exclaimed.

"Well now you know!" Jeremy replied with a smirk.

"Yes he really is a good dancer. Better than I am!" she commented. Just then, Stacey rushed to meet them.

"Oh my God Hailey. I can't believe it. You guys were really good out there. I really admired it!" She said in excitement. She was ignorant of the fact that someone was there with them.

Meanwhile, Kevin looked at her trying to recall where he had seen that face of hers. He recognized that voice and face. He tapped her and Stacey turned to see who it was.

"Excuse me, do I know you?" she asked.

"Stacey calm down, that's Kevin, Jeremy's friend!" Hailey introduced him.

"Oh! Nice to meet you Kevin. I'm Stacey." She introduced herself to him, stretching out her hand for a handshake. Kevin looked at her surprised, it was obvious that she didn't recognize him.

"Oh yes I remember you Stacey. The young lady who punched me right in the face at the supermarket." he stated clearly. What an ugly occurrence.

"Really? That was you?" she asked surprised. She didn't even look at the face of the guy she had punched at the supermarket.

"Yep! That was me. The unfortunate guy who fell into your trap!" he said with a laughter.

"Wait, you guys know each other?" Hailey asked.

"Yes, we met through an unfortunate circumstance." Kevin replied.

"I'm really sorry about that. I was just so angry and I really couldn't control it." She apologized.

"There's no problem. The past is in the past. I'm okay!" he answered.

"Thank you Kevin."

"You're welcome Stacey." They shook hands again.

The two got engrossed in discussion. They talked together like they had known each other for years. Hailey watched the two as they discussed and she smiled. Jeremy didn't really care.

"Don't you think they make a fine couple?" Hailey asked Jeremy.

"Hailey seriously? Don't tell me you want a guy like Kevin for your sister!" He said and she just laughed.

Meanwhile, the duo they were talking about had walked away and left them. They strolled out of the party into the garden.

"So tell me Stace, what do you do?" He asked.

"Well, I'm a lawyer, Just graduated though. I'm hoping to start my own law firm." she explained.

"That's nice. And how do you intend to start it up?" he asked.

"My dad's gonna support me with the money to start it up." She answered.

"Wait, please tell me who your dad is?"

"My dad's Dr Roberts and Hailey is my sister!" She answered.

"Oh so your dad's Dr Roberts. I never knew!" he said.

"Well, now you know." He chuckled.

The two went to join the others. The party was over and guests had started leaving. Stacey and Kevin exchanged numbers before leaving. Meanwhile Jeremy and Hailey said their good bye to everyone and left the venue. They went home.
