The dad, Miguel Sanchez, was in the bathroom. He is almost nearly fifty. His brown eyes are deep and he is around 184 cm tall. Although he is no longer young, his wide shoulders and strong looking muscular arms could still provide the sense of security. However, he has half bald head and a beer belly. The sun tanned skin and several different scars above his arms are the medals he got all over the years. Micheal is the sheriff of their city which has a population of over 240,000 inhabitants. He is the boss of nearly 1800 police officers. However, he is just a normal and humble person. He is neither power abusing guy nor the rich cop. And Tina is also a police officer under him. She entered their city police department directly after finishing the high school. After working for nearly four years, she is now a police sergeant.

Soon, the two in the kitchen finished cooking and preparing their breakfast while having a mother-daughter talk. It was just a simple breakfast; milk, fried eggs and chicken tacos. When they put the big plate full of tacos on the table, Miguel also came in and took the seat. He smiled and immediately put one taco into the mouth. He is also already in the police uniform like her. After chewing and swallowing the taco in several seconds, Miguel gave a smile and complemented, "10 by 10. You again made the perfect tacos sweetie."

The tough looking appearance was suddenly ruined by hearty smiles. The mother and daughter also took their seats and started eating. The whole scene is quite warm but Camilia couldn't help look at the other emptied chairs several times. She missed her other two children. Although they say her two children are doing good, she couldn't help but miss them and worry about them as a mother. Especially, she has been worrying and missing on her son, Daniel. She hasn't seen her for years now while Vera would come back often.

Miguel talked while eating the fried egg, "Tina, what is your relationship with that lad called Pedro? I heard you guys are walking closely lately. My old friends told me that you guys walked into the MGM cinema while holding hands on previous Sunday. Is that true?"

Tina blushed and protested, "Pa! I am not young, I am already twenty four. I have my freedom to date whoever I want."

Miguel said calmly, "You are always like a three year old child to me. What should I do if you get together with a bad guy? Papi can't protect you all the time."

Tina shrugged her shoulders while eating the taco. She knew her papi said right and she also understands him. But her Papi is just over protective, he made her had no love relationship in the past years. There was a time during her high school days, her Papi came to school and scared away the boys harassing her. Since then, she has no pursuer or the guy harassing her till she entered the police department and became a police officer.

She always watched herself in the mirror, she only saw a beautiful and young adult woman. But, because of her over-protective Papi, she still has no boyfriend. And the worst is she is already over twenty four and some of her high school friends are already with children.
