chapter 2 what's going to happen now that she's....gone..?

After Makenna heard that Rosie was killed during a mission she was devastated as she sat down on the couch she was waiting for her to return from the mission, "lets go back a bit now love and see what happened" a couple hours ago...Makenna was humming as she did the dishes waiting for Rosie to return home from a mission from last night, she didn't really think anything about it this has happened before, but it was only once Glitch budded in, "she did say that this that this mission will take a bit and it is dangerous even for her" he said knowing that it might piss Makenna off a bit, before Makenna could say anything a knock came from the door she stopped and looked in a bit of fear, only a couple of people could get to the spirit world but they would have to find the portal, she went to answer the door but before she did they knocked louder, she opened the door and was relived when she saw that it was just Rosie friend Rin she smiled as she greeted her happy to see her but she looked at her and saw that she was sad..."we need to talk Makenna, this is bad news" Rin said as she looked down "umm okay come in and sit down" Makenna said as she felt her gut telling her that something wasn't right, they sat down and glitch had to go to work so he went ahead and went, "sorry guys but i got to get o work but ill be back later so please tell me then" he said as he got his shoes on and walked out closing the door behind him, "Makenna I am so sorry...for this but Rosie was...killed on the mission we tried to protect her we swear that we did but he just...he was stronger then us.." Rin said as she started to cry as she looked down she just couldn't look at Makenna not without crying. "W-what...? that cant be true you guys was the top and the strongest ones.." she said as her eyes was starting feeling up tears, "well sometimes things happen...im sorry.." Rin said as she hugged Makenna as she started to cry in her arms, from that day on Makenna wasn't right she lost the person that saved her and that she felt like a mom to her, weeks and weeks past and she met someone who changed her life, since Rosie passed she still didn't really know much about her powers or even who or what followed her around all she knew was that they was things and they was with her, her entire life, Makenna didn't smile like she used too she just covered up with a mask sometimes and a blindfold, she covered up her eyes because she started to hate them they glowed in the dark, she wished that they wasn't green and they was blue... after that she started to hate herself, she could have talked Rosie out of going there and staying home, she felt like it was her fault, all of it...
