Grey Worlds

A mysterious incident occurred on a otherwise normal science centered world where all of the children from the age range of eight to sixteen suddenly vanished. “Where have their kids gone and will they ever return?” The now childless parents never got to really ask that question, because a strange new element replaced their lost children. This element slowly mutated the various animals that they once ruled over with their technology to the point that they were immune to their modern weaponry. The barren land of savages on a continent far away from theirs also had their children taken, but they easily mutated just like the beasts and only grew stronger thanks to the incident. A revolution of animals eventually took place after the mutations started to cause the animals to understand just how badly the humans ruined their lives and planet. Humans were the slowest to figure out how to use this strange new element to evolve, while their opponents were evolving and growing stronger by the day they couldn’t even surpass their modern technology. When humanity was on the brink of extinction a long forgotten event finally ended and their children finally started to return from the various worlds they were summoned to! It turns out that the mysterious new element that they didn’t know what to call was mana and that it’s everywhere in some fantasy planets. The children brought back a increase in technology and techniques to grow stronger with, which caused the humans to finally be able to build safe havens for their race. They grew stronger and started to finally adapt to their brand new environment. This is the story of a orphan who was taken away from his world, before he could gain a sense of attachment to the world. Who only has his older sister to care about and how he ends up adapting to the new world in front of him. ------------------ Dog notes by Doggo First 'five' chapters aren't what the story is really about and is more of a prologue. The reason why some are separated into parts is because Doggo originally posted them as a entire chapter. The main setting is Ghost's actual world and not any foreign world. So this story was already posted once to another site three years ago… and Dog is finally ending that three year hiatus! It was written in the first point of view, but Dog ended up having to change that all to third person because Dog read a first person novel which made Dog realize how bad Dog was at writing in first person. The explanation on why Dog was on a three year hiatus is written in the review section. The update schedule is a chapter a week till Dog get a editor and then two chapters a week till Dog gets enough money to pay for Dog’s bills. The final goal is to release a chapter every other day. Dog writes 4k word chapters so they are about twice as long as some of the other authors so every other day is actually more like once a day. Also the subject audience is male cause Dog had to pick one. In all honesty Dog hopes that both genders would like to read Dog's works. This one is definitely leaning a bit more on the male side of the audience spectrum tho.

Chapter 5: Training and Atonement

"Who is there?" Ghost yells out into the pitch black darkness that he has to awaken into.

"Come on don't you remember the person who brought you into this world, my disciple." An old and tired voice replied calmly.

"... I'm sorry but I just realized how rude I was when we first met. I didn't even ask you your name." Ghost realizes how rude he was in the past and slowly recalls a girl who he never even introduced himself to and yet he thought of her as rude.

"Names are a useless thing. Just call me what I am, master." He sighs while thinking of his previous disciple who was so sharp yet so weak.

"Yes, master. What you said was the truth this world is corrupt and I killed a bunch of innocents. The nobles are no good and the king is trapped in his castle." He clenches his first while telling him the truth that he figured out after a long and tortuous journey.

He slaps Ghost immediately and says. "You are correct yet still wrong. My disciple stop looking at the worlds through a monochrome lens! The world isn't black and white."

"Also the king isn't trapped. I know that for sure. He chooses to stay in his castle for whatever reason that he found while you were here. Not all the nobles are bad. You already met some good nobles from your last stay here. Not everyone was trying to fool you."

"I am a hopeless fool, master." He says while rubbing the cheek that was just hit.

"Yes you are and it's my job to make you less of a fool. Come let's go back to your new home." He sighs while wondering why God gave such a gullible person such fearsome power and wondering what type of life this poor kid is going to have to live.

"How are you planning on taking me there. It took me an over a month of travel to get here."

"Stop pretending to be tough and be quiet."

"I'm not acting like anything."

"Yes, you are. I can see the tears in your eyes. Someone close to you just died and yet you have barely reacted. Show your true emotions for once." He orders the distraught and confused Ghost.

"I'm fine master. I'm not holding in anything." He argues back.

"If you say so." After saying that he vanishes and a sharp chop hits back of Ghost's neck. As he's losing conscious he hears. " Brat doesn't even know when he acting and when he is not."

"Wake up. We're here." Ghost wakes up in the same underground cave. On the floor near the crystal clear lake and a water mill.

"Did you knock me out?" He asks confused and afraid at how he didn't even see how his master moved.

"Makes it easier to carry you. Know I noticed you weren't wearing your cloak. How often have you not had that on?" He orders Ghost with a disappointed look in his eyes.

"It's heavy and cumbersome. How do you expect me to go anywhere if I wear something that I can barely move in." He complains not knowing what he did wrong.

"Good point. I may have made the weight limit a little too heavy for you. Fine." He takes the cloak and shakes it a bit. "There now you should be able to move with it on. Heck, you should be able to run with it on!"

"How did you make it go from not being able to move to being able to run with it on?" Ghosts ask confused at the giant change.

"We're going to start training now and to begin training you're going to have to run." He ignores the question and carries on.

"How are we going to train, master?" He asks while he finally decides to get up off the floor.

"You fought against my disciple, so you probably noticed that his strength wasn't that amazing but his speed was probably on a whole new level, correct. Well, he probably was still slower than me!"

"Yea, he was to fast for me to follow. If he actually used a sword I would definitely be dead right now."

"He didn't want to use a weapon and that was his downfall. If you can't get hit then what's the use of defense?"

"If you can hit your opponent a hundred times and he can't even hit you once what's the use of strength?"

"Of course, I won't completely ignore strength training. It just won't be a huge part of your training. It also is as simple as dealing a fatal blow to your opponent."

"For instance what would be better cutting a person in half or slitting his throat? Of course, it's the one that takes the less energy."

"Yes, master."

"You're going to chase me and either catch me or keep chasing me till I say stop. We will keep doing this till I think your body is strong enough for sword training. If you stop chasing me I'll tie you on that water mill over there. You understand?"

"Of course." He starts chasing after his new master, but his master is always barely outside of his reach close yet so far away from him.

"Come on move faster is this the most you can do from a month of training." He doesn't seem to be increasing his speed yet he is getting farther and farther away.

"I'm going as fast as I can, master." Ghost's says while panting.

"Ha, you get training that no one else gets to and you're complaining about it. Not even my previous disciple got to drink my sacred water whenever he collapsed we just called it done for the day."

He says while Ghosts drink from the bottle he just gave him. Tasting the plain water that seems to energize all of his muscles.

"Pant! Can't I begin sword training soon?"

"No, your body isn't ready and you're nowhere near fast enough. Follow me or I will tie you to that water mill again." He follows his master through the same course yet again.

The cycle continues of him chasing and painting and then tied back to the watermill. Eventually, Ghost seems to get faster and pant a bit less after each long and tortuous cycle.

He then finally says. "You're ready, probably." He brings Ghost into another room. "These swords are not as important as your mask, but that doesn't mean you can mistreat them ok?" He pulls out two short daggers.

"I'm supposed to use these tiny blades?" He asks confused. They don't even look like they're long enough to pierce a slime's core.

"There is more to these blades then you think. This is the third treasure that my ancestors left me. The first is your mask, the second is your cloak and the last are these swords." He says while pointing at each.

"Your mask isn't just a mask. I won't tell you what else it can do, so figure it out yourself." He throws him the two daggers. "Swing those around till you have a good feeling for them."

"Wait you're not going to teach me any style of fighting?"

"The best style is a style forged from combat. Only you can know the way you feel comfortable fighting. I won't force a style onto you. I let my first disciple fight only using his hands, didn't I? If the swords don't fit you then we can look for another weapon."

"So you want me to just swing around these daggers?"

"No, I want you to get used to the feel of them. You and those swords should be one in the same. Well at least eventually it should be like that. Right now I just want you to get used to holding them. Be prepared because what's coming up next is live combat, hehe."

"I take it you will find some way to punish me again for no reason?" He asks worriedly.

"Hey being strapped to that water mill will help you in so many ways and so did the swimming laps I made you do after you went around it a hundred times."

Some more time goes by! How long Ghost doesn't know and I can't be bothered to count the days.

Every day being forced to fight against a different person, sometimes two people at once. Days go by wondering why he is even doing this to help him or to torture him.

"My disciple I think you're ready to learn about what has happened since you left. The nobles went on a tax rampage against the commoners simply because they can't use magic." Ghost nods and his master continues on.

"The king who normally would stop this rampage, but instead he locked himself in his castle like a little kid. Our spies have said he hasn't left for a whole year. I don't know what happened to him, but it's safe to say that he is also up to no good."

"Do you know of anyone that can get us any information about what goes on in the castle?" He asks Ghost who then stops to think about all the people that he knew when he was first summoned.

"Yea, I think there is someone who will know what he is up to. When I was first summoned here I was taken in by an old lady who used to be a good friend to the king."

"She should know what happened to him. I also know a noble family that helped me a lot when I was first summoned. Even if they were trying to use me I feel like their daughter was truly trying to be my friend. They're both probably good people. If you can get me into the capital then it's a safe bet."

"I see are you sure that they weren't corrupt?"

"You can bet my life on it. She treated me like her own grandchild. The other group I can't be completely sure but I think I'm positive that there's one good person in that family."

"After we get some more information on what is really happening I think it's time we create a plan that can finally get rid of the corruption in this kingdom. Giving your senior brother's race a chance to grow and prosper."

He pauses as if he was debating something then after making his decision he tells Ghost. "You and another disciple shall enter the capital. My spy should be able to get you in. What you do afterward is your choice. If you decide to just charge straight into the castle then so be it."

"She was there during your biggest battle. So you probably shouldn't let her know your identity. Also, don't mention her being a part of the battle it still haunts her."

"Master, is this the summoned one?" A girl with red hair comes in while asking the master.

"Yes my dear he may not look like much, but I assure you that he can help us."

"So, what's your name?"

"Ghost Shinigami."

"... This may seem rude, but whoever named you has a terrible naming sense."

Ghosts voice gets colder and angrier at the insult, while he was thinking of his now dead older sister who took care of him since he was young.

"... My sister gave me my name first and last. What's yours then if you think you can insult other people's names."

"Sorry, probably shouldn't have said that and it's Phora. I sometimes don't think before I speak, so I'm sorry" She seems extremely apologetic and sorry about what she said.

"Well, Phora I hope that you aren't scared of entering the capital."

"Why would I be it's just a city?" She seems surprisingly unaware of the future consequences about what would happen if they were caught.

"It's a city that if you get caught inside we will probably be executed on site. Is it just a city now?"

Ghost thinks about exaggerating the danger a bit but realizes that it's actually dangerous enough without him exaggerating about it.

All the guards are probably working for the king, not the people so it is true that she probably would be killed on the spot if they were caught.

"No."

"Let's go it's probably going to take us forever just to get to the city, sigh."

"Ah, I can help you with that disciples."

"You can?"

"Yes, the spy created a magic circle just for this. I told my idiot of a disciple that he can easily sneak into the capital and just kill the king, but no he wanted to do it flashy and show him the strength of the unknown. By straight up attacking each and every village in his way."

"... So, why haven't you told me about that before? I wouldn't have had to go out and see the other villages. I'm pretty sure that the capital isn't perfect. I bet if I just went outside into the 1st district. There would be poor people everywhere."

"It's not that bad. At least not in the capital. Everyone is filthy rich besides the servants and slaves. They have ridiculously huge houses that are the reason why there are 4 districts."

"You had to see the actual villages and towns to get a real look at how the world is right now. Now go." A circle glows beneath their feet and they're sent out to the capitol.

"Why does any transportation magic have to give such a heavy headache?" Hu-uh Hu-uh Hu-uh Gluah! P'tu khan! " Ha, you couldn't hold it in Phora?"

"Not everyone gets teleported. Barely anyone gets the chance to experience teleportation."

"That may be true, but you know what's worse than teleportation?"

"What?"

"Summonings they hurt a lot more than this. You know I didn't puke when I was brought here. But here you are minor teleportation and chunking out all your lunch." She looks down staring at the ground. Her fire red hair covering her eyes.

"Don't worry about it when I was summoned I had nothing to puke out in the first place. Tell me about yourself while we wait for masters spy to show up."

"Well there isn't much to tell, but after insulting your sister I guess I can tell you something embarrassing."

"I could be called special if you compare me to any other unknown, yet I am hated for the same reason. It's more of a curse than a blessing." She says while becoming even more depressed.

"What's your curse?" He curiously asks her.

"Unlike the rest of the unknown, I have a unique ability. It can't really be called magic since I have no mana, but I can control fire."

"When I say I can control fire, in reality, it's a pitiful ability. More like a party trick than a weapon." Tears start to appear in her eyes.

Hmm, maybe she took the magic circle to the capital and killed Jana with her fire magic? I just can't help but try to figure out how his sister died if they didn't want to assassinate the king.

"When I was told to kill the demon that the nobles call a hero with my cheap party trick I was shocked. You see I always gloated saying that I can control even more I just don't want to harm anyone." A tear trickled down her cheek.

Maybe a rogue group used a magic scroll to try and kill him to lower losses? I mean not everyone should be an idiot like their previous leader and want to attack them straight up.

"So they told me to use my ability to make the 'hero's' blood magic vanish. I ran right after the fighting began."

"The people that were supposed to protect me were probably shocked, but I kept on running. That day everyone who tried to go against that demon died." More tears started to fall.

"It was all my fault if I didn't lie to them and give them false hope they probably wouldn't have charged into their deaths like that or if I was stronger than I would've been able to do the things I said I would."

"The cruelest thing of all is that my ability is actually improving to the point where I might have been able to do something." She breaks out crying.

"Well, that's a lot to take in you didn't really spare me the details. When I asked you to tell me about yourself I meant hobbies, things you like, and other stuff like that. Not your deepest darkest regrets, but that works too. I guess."

Honestly she probably just really needed someone to confess all her problems to and Ghost was the only person near her in the end.

"You can't change the past so look ahead to the future. If you continue to be in the past all you feel is emptiness. I should know I already lost two people who were close to me. Aren't we trying to fix your mistake right now?"

-I tell her this yet I may not be over it. Am I truly just ignoring my feelings?-

"Yea, you're right we may not be able to kill the 'hero', but we can at least fix the mess he caused."

"That's the spirit. Now you hiding in the shadows come on out. I take it you are masters spy since I just noticed you."

"Greetings." A man hidden in dark clothing appears.

"What section are we in right now?" Ghost immediately asks him.

"The fourth, young master."

"Ok good, I know some people that live here. One of them I'll have to meet alone, but the other should be ok meeting you once I talk to her." They move out of a secret underground tunnel onto a familiar street.

The sun has already fallen and the normally busy market is as quiet as death itself. "Follow me."

They keep on moving forward to a familiar little hut appears in their vision. "Let me talk to the owner first and then you should be able to stay here for a night."

"But how do you know a noble? You have only been here for a little while, right?"

He half smiles and replies, "Everyone deserves their own secrets. I wouldn't have bugged you if you said that you didn't want to talk about your past, so don't bug me about mine."

He enters the familiar home and yells out to the owner. "Liz! You still living here?"

"Who goes there?" A familiar old voice calls out.

"It's me, Liz" Ghost replies while taking off his mask. Tears are trickling down his face.

"Ghost it can't be, you already left back to your home world." She denies his very existence.

"I came back because someone copied the summoning circle. I found out how bad this world is and what I was really protecting. I need your help."

"My help with what?" She asks still not understanding what is going on.

"What has king been up to? Why has he vanished for a year?" He asks her the question that has been bugging him ever since he heard about it, plus the unknown not being able to use magic making him wonder what really happened to his sister.

Finally, he starts to wonder about the same thing as I am! He might be a bit slow on the uptake but at least he realized the problem.

"I'm not sure. All I know is he is staying there willingly."

"That is all I need to know. Now if I may ask for your assistance in planning the overthrowing of the king and many of the nobles? I need your help because that castle is like a maze and you should know its layout."

He begs her while on his hands and knees. Once again the familiar small house is cluttered with books.

"Well I can help you with that then I guess. I used to be the king's head mage until he called me crazy and kicked me out and I got old, but that happened later."

"Ok good, now the people outside are helping me fix what I did wrong. They don't know that I am the one who caused all of this and I would like to keep it a secret if possible."

"Ok, but what if they ask me how I know you?"

"Tell them that if I don't want to tell them then you don't have the right to tell them."

"Fine." She doesn't look like she wants to lie.

"You guys can come in now." He puts the mask back on while they are coming back in. "She agreed to help us with our plans."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"Good because I'm tired master made me stay up so late just to teleport here at night. He didn't even let me take a nap and instead said 'that if I have time to sleep why don't you train' sheesh?"

She hops on the couch and falls asleep being the same oblivious and tormented little kid. Her body starts to shake a bit clearly having a nightmare. Maybe she was always tormented by nightmares leading to a lack of sleep.

"Liz, I need to go talk to Alicia as well."

"That sounds like a good idea. Her family is newer to the disease we call nobility, so they should know nobles that aren't that bad to the poor. Not all of them are bad Ghost."

"I know, master already taught me that.

-Ah, it feels like it's been so long since I walked down this road!-

The nostalgic house appears and he knocks on the same old door.

"Who is it? Do you know what time it is?" A familiar blue haired woman answers the door.

"Hi, Sophia it has been a while hasn't it?"

"Ghost, how are you back? What did you do? Why are you hear? Do you think it's possible to return back?"

"Alicia kept on pestering me about a way to recreate a summoning to go to your world." She starts rapid firing off questions just like she did back when they first met.

"Slow down, slow down, go get the others I need a favor from you guys. Also, don't tell Alicia that I'm back. I want it to be a surprise." She rushes upstairs to wake up the rest of the household.

"Mom, do you know what time it is why did you wake us up?" A younger voice complains.

"I didn't someone important came if you want to blame anyone blame him."

She points at Ghost while looking at her daughter who jumps off the stairs and heads straight towards Ghost like a meteor.

He proceeds to get tackled and sent on a back to the head collision with the hardwood floor.

"Well, I didn't expect to get tackled." He says still shocked at the cute reaction by his only friend.

She blushes and then gets up and stutters, "G-ghost, w-why are you h-here? Is this a dre-eam?"

He breaks out laughing and then helps her get up and come back to reality. "Yea I'm back. I caused something that can never be forgiven no matter what I do, but I want to at least make it a little bit easier on everyone. To that, I need your help."

"What do you need? You know that we will do the best in our power to help you." Sophia asks as he is getting up off the floor.

"I need a list of all the nobles that are the cause for all of the poverty. We are going to go through extermination. I'll explain the rest of the plan on a latter day. If everything works out this world will be a better place."

"Where do you want us to meet you?" Alicia inquires.

"At Liz's place. We all need to work together if we want this plan to work. How long do you think it will take for you to get a list of every noble that is abusing their power?"

"That might take a while, I don't know," Sophia says unsure.

"That's ok you can take as much time as you need. Alicia here takes this." He secretly hands her another vial of blood in case her mom confiscated the previous one.

Then he goes and whispers in her ear closely. "I am positive if you want to recreate a summoning circle that you will need it."

"Why can't I just come with you?"

"Because then you wouldn't win our bet. Don't you want your three wishes answered?"

"..." She blushes at the thought of her extremely bold bet with him.

"Exactly, now look on the bright side you get to see the summoning circle again and there is a person who copied it so he should be able to help you if everything turns out well. Your situation has got even better hasn't it?"

"I guess."

"That's the spirit. Now how long do you think it will take to get the list?" He loudly asks Sophia who was getting extremely curious about what her daughter was whispering to with a boy her age.

She holds her ears out of surprise by the loud voice that suddenly came out of the room while she was trying to hear something a lot quieter. "Anywhere from a day to a month why?"

"Because I still have things that I want to teach Alicia. I also want to check on her progress."

"Ghost, you don't have to teach me anything anymore I've probably surpassed you in magical knowledge."

"Can you see magic formations?"

"No." She tries to argue but he interrupts her.

"Can you read the formation to tell which magic is which?"

"No."

"Then I will always have more knowledge than you.'

"That ability isn't fair."

"It is not like I decided to be able to see them. To be fair I was born this way there is no way to change that!"

"You have to use every card that you were born with and try to increase them. It is no good to ignore something you have. Even if I didn't want it I can't just make it disappear."

"But, do you understand how annoying that is. No matter what spell I come at you with you can prepare in advance. Before I can even release it. For the larger spells that take forever to chant it's like bluntly telling you what my plan is." She seems annoyed.

"You know that I have to learn what the spell formation means right? It's not like the name of the spell is right in front of my eyes."

"Just to use this ability effectively I have to learn spell formations that I will never be able to use. Also, shorten the chant or something similar to that. Since I can see the spell I know you don't really need the chant."

"Fine, I guess it is not as easy as it seems, but other than that I know how to use magic. You can't use it, so all you can teach me is theories right?"

"You're right I can't use the magic that you can use, but I have my own type of magic that is much more powerful than any spell or chant that you can use. Also, I bet you never thought you could use a spell without a chant."

"You mean that pitiful breathing fire that you did a year ago? Have you even improved on that since last time we met?"

"Of course, I haven't. The only way I am going to improve on it is if I find a dragon to teach me. It is not in any of the books I have read, so I am in the dark here."

"You call it draconic magic, but all you can do is breathe fire are you sure it is draconic magic? Maybe you just have the ability to breathe fire like your blood control."

"Blood doesn't make me feel tired if I use it too much. Hurts my brain sure, but I don't feel mana disappearing from inside of me."

"When I breathe fire I have to channel my mana into my mouth. I've also created a yell amplified by it, so it's not just turning into fire."

"Fine What did you figure out while you were away?"

"Beware of things that lack mana. Mana-less objects obstruct mana. I've seen mana vanish when it hit something that didn't have mana in it."

"While I was here somehow a noble took away my mana for a short period of time. I don't know how but I think it had something to do with a mana-less substance entering my body."

"Well, the potion is made from unknown blood. I can tell you that. The whole magic not liking things that don't have mana isn't widely known, because in this world everything has mana inside of it besides the unknown. It is usually just too weak for anyone to use it."

"So they are even used as magic ingredients. I will definitely fix this mess that I created."

Time goes by as Alicia and Ghost experiment in different ways to chant less to use magic. They are getting closer and closer to discover how to do get rid of a couple of words when Sophia comes in with pieces of paper in her hands.

"Sorry it took so long Ghost but here is the list you wanted." She hands him a list on plain old paper.

"Long? This only took two weeks to get. How exactly is it? I don't want to persecute good people and ignore bad people here, Sophia."

He asks as he reads through the list of names. One of them is familiar, Alex. No last name just Alex, the fishing noble.

"I can guarantee that this is everything you need, now tell me what your plan is?"

"My plan is to make this whole world hate me."

He leaves the cozy family and heads through the castle till he gets near the throne room. Only then does he start to debate about whether he is doing a good thing this time around.

He finally reaches outside the throne room where everything started and a new beginning shall happen!.

-Let's start fixing all my mistakes.-

"So, Mr. King we meet again. You think you can fool me and get away with it? Today is the day you die and this world becomes better for a bit. Do you have any last words?"

Ghost says while kicking open throne room. The king's face turns from disbelief to the same arrogant looking one.

"You can't kill me, no one can. This world is mine and no one else's you can't take it from me. Nobles, *spit*, they are just puppets. There isn't anything higher than me."

"Even you aren't higher than I am. You're not a hero the citizens call me a hero as well and yet you think of me as a villain. My spies told me everything. You think I wouldn't watch over the cities?"

"I also knew about that unknown and her 'family'. I was surprised when the 'bandits' failed to kill them." He says while getting off his throne.

"The main reason why you can't kill me if I have something you want." He has a smile on his face like he knows a secret that no one else knows.

Ghost almost instantly makes a blood collar and send it around his neck. "You have nothing that I won't stop trying to confuse me. Tell me what you are still hiding or I'll kill you right now."

Not even flinching when the collar goes around his neck and arrogantly replies. "But I do. Use your brain. If you know both sides of the story then you know the truth. The unknown can't use magic."

"Yea and?"

"Who killed your sister?"

"An unknown using a fire spell."

He claps his hand and makes a aha sound. "That in itself is a contradiction unknown can't use magic. Sure they have those annoying scrolls but most aren't that powerful. Your sister is still alive. You left her with me. All this time."

"What did you do to her."

"Nothing much, I couldn't do anything to her when you were here out of fear of you noticing, but once you left I debated on raping her right there and then."

I decided you won't be coming back ever again, so why not make her my loyal slave and force her to love me. Your lucky, kid. She is still pure or is she? But sadly, you will never find her and."

"Shut up! I know how to find her and if I can't then I will just force it out of your mouth."

-Where is she? She should have the same blood as me, so it should be simple.-

"HA, I know she isn't even in this castle."

"Have you done your research. I've never left this castle she is in here." He looks worried for a split second then he smiles a bright smile.

"Your lying I can easily sense my blood and she should have the same blood as me flowing through her veins. I don't sense her so that means she isn't here."

"This is priceless." A burst of maniacal laughter resounds the hall. "It seems your precious sister isn't even blood related to you. I can guarantee that your sister is in this building."

"Well, that makes this simple." He walks up to him and put his hand on the kings head.

"You can't move thanks to this collar controlling your blood flow. Now I wonder how it feels to make your blood flow backward?

All of the king's blood starts to reverse then goes back to normal over and over again. "Now tell me where she is."

"Cough, Neverr." Snap! "How about now?" "No." Slice! "You know you're doing a great job at holding in the pain."

"Curse you."

"You shouldn't have messed with me or my family now should you have?"

"I'm, sorry, but if I tell you where she is you will still kill me at least right now I have a chance at living." Slice, slice!

"You think you have a chance at living? I can just kill you and search this castle I know she is here. It is just easier for me to do this than search for her. You know what? I think I have a great idea on how to find her you're not needed anymore." The king's body gets split in half.

-By using his blood I can spread it throughout the castle every nook and cranny and find her. Let's see there are humans over here.-

The blood destroys a hole in the wall at the right side of the throne. "I am coming, Jana."

He goes down a dark empty stairway into a damp prison. There are two cells and inside one of them is what used to be called Jana.

She is just sitting there drooling not even reacting to seeing her dear brother. Completely broken. In the other cell is three to four girls probably around Jana's age.

Ghost leaves the castle without Jana not wanting to put her into any danger. "Everyone come on out." His magically enhanced voice bellows throughout hopefully all of the capital.

"What do you want?" A male voice asks.

"Do you know what time it is?" Another female asks.

"I have something to tell you all." He takes off his mask and cloak. "I am the hero who was summoned a year ago for your war. I pretended to save you all."

"In reality, the war had no reason. Some lazy nobles wanted to stop guarding the towns, so they instigated a war with a weak race that can do their jobs for them."

"Things went south fast, so they convinced the king to bring me in this world and promised me riches if I saved it and pretend to leave. I even was asked to pretend to be a kid."

"In reality, I never left and was living a good life here in the capital while holding your king a prisoner in his own home. But, I got bored so I killed him and now I shall be the ruler of this world. No one can stop me even all of you come at me at once. So give up!"

"Like hell, we would give up." Alicia's voice is heard in the background. "Are we going to let him rule over us? No! Let's stand up to him and all the people that support him."

"I thought something was fishy, so I researched a list of the people that support him." Sophia's voice chimes in.

"Let's get rid of the people who mistreat everyone and make something more are we just puppets made to listen to the few who are willing to control us? Should we treat others like they have treated us?"

"I say No!" Arthur's voice is also heard. "Should anyone be treated like such idiots?"

"You people still can't stop me, so stop trying." A blood wall appears over the castle then falls on it crushing the wall behind into dust. "Can you stop that?"

"Don't worry we may not be able to kill this demon but at least we can make him disappear for good." A magic circle appears below me and starts to glow and then teleports me back into Liz's house.

"You sure you're ok with this?" She asks him concerned having also moved his sister back to him. Moaning can be heard throughout the small hut

"Positive, it was the only way that I could hold true to a promise. Well, I'm going to go now."

"Aren't you going to wait for them to come back and at least give them a proper goodbye?"

"No, they are the heroes and I'm the villain I got to leave before anyone catches wind of me still being here. It's for the best if I just take Jana and leave."

Another teleport circle activates sending Jana and him back to his master. "Master I greet you for the last time. I am sorry that I shamed you by being the villain of this world, but it had to be done."

"You're not a villain."

"It's for the best that you remember me as the villain and the king as the hero that is how I told Sophia to make our tale known."

He has a faint smile on his face and the return home circle activates.

-I wonder what kind of face I am showing him right now.-

"Jana was finally home."

-I wonder what is going to happen to us now. Maybe someone has the magic to fix her.-

And so the story of Ghost and his sister's adventures in another world comes to an end. He isn't the best candidate out there for my viewing, but I'm still curious about the side effects of the summoning that happened around the world.

Maybe I'll go back to viewing him after the summoning stops but as of right now I have another candidate in mind to watch.

This is probably the longest chapter Doggo will ever post since it wasn't long enough to split into parts but was a bit above the 6k limit Dog put up.

Stats with Doggo!

Prouluge chapters 52000 words long! This is not exact but its pretty accurate.
