"I think I've always been able to feel it? As for suppressing it there's never been a need to since I've always been able to control it." I say while thinking back to how kid me handled it

Upon hearing this both of them fall silent for about a minute as I continue eating before mom finally breaks the silence.

"Honey you might want to call your brother and tell him that we're coming over." Mom says with a serious expression

"On it when should I tell him we'll arive?" Dad asks

"Within the hour." Mom says as she starts gathering various things from around the house along with a light colored wooden wand from a cabinet in the kitchen

"What I said I was a alchemist so what better place to keep my wand when I'm not using it besides the kitchen?" She says with staring at me.

"I didn't say anything." I say while looking back at what's left of my food which consists of a sausage patty, hash browns and a sunny side up egg.

"Anne dear are we packing bags or are we moving to the estate?" Dad hollers from the next room over which is his self appointed office.

"Estate!" Mom yells back while waving her wand causing all the dishes to start cleaning themselves

'Fuck my food!' I think while quickly piling the rest in-between two pieces of bread which earns me a chuckle from Mom as she watches with amusement.

'Their taking this pretty seriously though I guess it's to be expected as this is definitely not a normal situation maybe I should of lied and made it seem less impressive. No it's best to just get it over with as it was bound to be found out eventually once I met a powerful enough wizard plus lying is tiresome it always requires more lying to cover up.'

"Alright Kyle come here and listen carefully. This is called floo powder it's used to travel the floo network which we'll be using to get to a place called knight's manor. Now I want you to stand in front of the fire place just like dad is over there and speak with a clear voice and say knight's manor while throwing this powder into the fire place." Mom says with a serious expression to which I nodded and watched as dad demonstrated how to do it

'Alright Kyle your first taste of real magic let's do this.' As I thought that I threw the powder while yelling knight's manor like it was a war cry as I disappeared from my spot I felt a pull on both my magic and body

The weird part was the feeling of slipping I felt coming from the pull on my body that scared the hell out of me before I appeared in a large hall with rustic decorations on the walls in the form of living portraits or whatever they were called along with a weapon below each one that were giving off serious levels of magic.

"Haha how was your first experience floo traveling Kyle?" Dad asked as he turns away from a middle aged man with sharp features and light brown hair along with dark blue eyes

'I guess that's my uncle but more importantly what's up with the weapons some form of unique family magic?'

"Is there supposed to be a feeling of slipping?" I ask as I'm genuinely curious if that's normal or if my magic resistant body was causing it

"How curious do you mind describing the feeling for me?" Asked the man standing next to dad

"It was like the pulling force couldn't get a good hold of my body?" I say while walking towards them as mom steps out of the fireplace shortly after

"Haha Marvelous this is truly wonderful! Our family is not done yet Haha!" The man says while laughing as a tear run down his face.

"Um Mom, Dad am I missing something here?" I ask as the situation is starting to get awkward.

'He's not crazy is he? No surly not Mom wouldn't have brought here if he was right?'

"Ah sorry I let my emotions get the better of me. Kyle I'm Theodore Knight your uncle and the current head of the family while also the only able bodied wizard in the family at least that was until you came along." He says while doing a quick bow

"As for the reason for my emotions getting out of control it correlates with the feeling you felt during your trip here. You have acquired a very rare and special physique that only shows up very rarely in our bloodline infact it so rare there's only been 6 recorded instances of in appearing. We call it a null body as the more it experiences different types of magic the less they effect it. From the records passed down its intirely possible to reach a point where all known magic has no effect on you."

"By Merlins beard my son is that special!?" Dad says while looking at me with shock

"Actually if what you said before is true then he's even better than his predecessor's as they were all without fail horrible at controlling their mana. It was believed that their body created a sort of disconnection with their mana."Theo says while looking at me as if I'm a precious treasure that gives me goose bumbs

"Um if you don't mind I'd like some clarification real quick is magic used as a broad term and mana used for the energy itself? Also you said you were the last able bodied wizard in the family what happened to the rest?" I ask as I'm pretty sure about the mana thing but you can never be to sure as for the only wizard thing I'd imagine that they either fell during voldemorts war or were severely injured but better safe than sorry.

"Haha he sure is a curious and cautious little brat! Yes magic is a broad term and mana refers to the energy inside you as for why the twerp over there is last one I'm not to sure on the details besides a war with some arrogant child being fought with the family acting as the main force." "Now before we take these talks any further how about I have the house elves show you to your rooms so you can get settled in and then we can meet again at lunch?" Theo says while looking at dad only for Mom to answer instead

"Ahem that would be nice I trust the elves can handle grabbing our belongings from the house?" Mom says with a little bit of heat in her voice
