Besides the standard gravity environment mode, each gravity room also offers training and challenge modes.

For example, under the gravity environment, one faces attacks launched from all directions, training their reaction and awareness.

And the Gravity Trial is a challenge mode based on the former which uses Energy Attacks for training.

It is generally divided into two types.

One is the evasion trial, where Pokemon purely use their abilities to dodge energy beams shot from all directions. As time goes on, the intensity of gravity, the speed of the energy beams' discharge and transit, and their density will increase progressively, becoming stronger, faster, and more concentrated.

In this trial, dodging is the only option; being hit means disqualification.

The second type is the defense trial. In this mode, the Pokemon are not faced with energy beams, but with Energy Bullets. This mode does not require the Pokemon to dodge but instead demands that the Pokemon defend against the Energy Bullets head-on, either by taking them with defensive Moves or countering them with offensive ones, evasion is not an option.

Besides the progressively increasing gravity, the power of the Energy Bullets also increases over time, until the challenging Pokemon loses its ability to continue.

These two modes are targeted at different training types. The trials have a set of independent scoring methods, which calculate scores based on the Pokemon's performance and establish a leaderboard with rankings divided into five levels: S, A, B, C, and D. Within the same level, scores are further distinguished with plus and minus signs.
