Auto-Directional Transportation Rune

Going back inside, they both made their way toward the cockpit which would usually house a pilot. Thanks to Tian Shu, such a person was no longer needed. He had, in the matter of a few seconds, drawn two runes on two separate Jade Tablets. They were both very intricate and showed that he was indeed worthy of his status of a Peak Master.

Laughably, they were even better drawn than some of the Runes he had seen drawn by Law Domain Experts in the Hunyuan Heaven. They mainly focused on Internal Cultivation though, so it wasn't too much of a surprise.

"Make sure you have something from each place you want the rune to direct the airship to.

"This is how the rune works, it anchors to a relative point in space and moves it there."

The cockpit was rather bland, just a chair and yoke. There were no fancy meters or anything like that, this was thanks to the aircraft running of Genesis Qi that it refined thanks to the core that had been used to make it.

Next to the yoke was a small clip that held the first Jade Tablet that had taken them there. The rune on top of it had nearly faded completely, and soon blinked out of distance before their own eyes, bringing the airship to a holt in the sky, hovering gently inside of the thick fog. This meant that they were now above the town inside of the Skeletal Fortressing Territory.

Removing the Jade Tablet, Qingchan put it in her pocket and sat down, prompting Julong to do the same. This was how the rune was calibrated.

Out of Julongs' universe bag came a small rock from the floating island that the grand hall - that sat at the top of Cangxuan Sect - stood.

Putting it beside the new Auto-Directional Transportation Rune, which had been laid down in between them, Julong closed his eyes, activating his Spirit Power. Qingchan lingered a moment, staring at his gold coloured Divine Spirit, a small smile on her lips.

At first when Qingchan had seen his Spirit she was shocked, but it was now something that she grew to enjoy seeing. It was very unique and dazzling. She had quite frankly never seen anything like it. What made this feeling even greater, was that only his trusted friends knew about the phenomenon. Not even Qing Yang knew.

Also closing her eyes, she combined her Spirit Power with his. Hers was far weaker than Julongs' thanks to only focusing on Internal Cultivation like most other Cultivators. Even so, having her Spirit there, even if weaker, was still a great help when they were fusing the two artifacts together, even if it was Julong who was doing most of the work.

Combining their Spirit Power, Julong channelled it into the Rune which greedily began consuming the energy. He then did the same to the small stone which did not have much of a reaction to the power, this was expected though, since a rock did not have the same amount of sentience as a Genesis Rune, even if a Genesis Rune had minimal sentience anyway.

Putting the two artifacts together, they began rejecting each other. To continue, Julong and Qingchan would have to force them together, hence the difficulty of tuning the Rune to it's complete state.

It took a few minutes and almost all of Qingchans Spirit Power, but in the end, the Rune had been completed.

Both of their eyes shot open as their Spirits returned to their body. Qingchan seemed to be rather tired at this point though.

"Are you okay, Qingchan?"

"Mhmm - I don't use my Spirit too often is all, that and I expended all its energy just now."

Julong chuckled lightly.

"Just rest for a little bit then. The fog should be hiding the airship rather well. We'll change over the Runes properly when your nice and rested up."

She went a little red in embarrassment. Usually, she would be the one helping another thanks to her generally large difference in power. It just felt a little weird for Julong to waiting on her to catch-up to him, but Genesis Qi and Spirit Power were different after all. Even so, it still made her feel vulnerable.

"T-Thanks."

Julong smiled softly at her. As per usual she was showing off the side she kept hidden away to him, and only him. The only other person who could apparently make her the way she was acting was his Senior Brother Chu Qing, but that was because he was annoying, or so Qingchan says. Julong couldn't really make a proper judgement as of yet thanks to not having met him.

Moving to her, he put his hand out, which she took gently, looking away from him.

"I-I don't need your help."

While the words she spoke came off as rejecting, her tone completely betrayed her. It was higher pitch than normal and was shaking from her self consciousness.

"Don't say it like that, otherwise you'll make me want to tease you."

She lightly socked him in the gut, letting go of his hand and heading toward the door. Julong followed his eyes as she walked through the door to the hallway.

"I'll only be a little bit. Please come fetch me when you feel you are ready."

She then closed the door behind her.

Julong grinned. She was trying to retain her dignity by saying what she had said, now pretending as if they were waiting on Julong despite her being the one to say she was tired earlier. Even the way she was walking represented that.

A soft chuckle came to him as he walked over to the glass that allowed the pilot to look into the distance. They had used their Genesis Qi before they went inside to change the altitude they were at, raising them into the incredibly dense fog. This was all in hopes of not being spotted, alerting people to the Cangxuan Sects presence. They had even taken off all their sashes and branding and left it at home, all of which helped with Cultivating in very substantial ways, so having their presence immediately found out would have been rather annoying.

He sat down in the pilots chair before lazily laying his head on his hand. Despite whatever Qingchan would try to tell him about not being tired, her pride betraying her, he had no intention of waking her after she fell asleep. That would be too cruel. Instead he decided he would also take a small rest, right in the very comfortable chair he was now sitting in.
