Grand Sorcerer in the Omniverse

Cyrodiil

Yuri woke up first, nudging Tonilia to get her up as well. They overslept.

"Mmmm"

"Rise and shine, princess"

Yuri got up first to get breakfast for them and came back a few minutes later with steak and eggs with milk. Tonilia got up and noticed this.

"Tch, milk drinker are ya?"

"From where I come from, drinking milk is a given for most," He informed.

"A whole world of milk drinkers. Skyrim would declare war"

"Haha, and we would win against the brittle folk with our unbreakable calcium-rich bones"

They spent breakfast playfully like this, but they were obviously still in the midst of crossing a bridge between each other concerning the divide of culture and information.

One thing Yuri noticed about himself was that despite being physically more than capable of thrashing most targets, he was without a doubt untrained and so was Tonilia. He would broach the subject of martial arts and find a regime for them to practice together soon enough after he finished performing the rituals on her.

"So what's all this about knocking me out for five days? Fetish of yours?" Tonilia shot.

"Ha, don't go dishonoring me so casually," She adopted a smirk while she chewed her breakfast.

"My blue heart, and also some serious muscles. You noticed, right? My body was different after you came to the college."

"Yeah, I feel like you can tear me in half. It's quite... hot, to be honest."

"Now who has the weird fetish"

"I don't want to die! Ya know it's just..." She trailed off.

'He's all-consuming... and I want to let him' She thought to herself. Yuri was no longer mind-reading her, so he couldn't tell.

"Welp, it's about that. My muscle structure and abilities have been altered and enhanced drastically. I'll be doing to you most, if not all the modifications I'm doing to myself."

"You're plenty strong enough aren't you? What are you trying to do, destroy a mountain with one punch?"

"Even if I was trying to take over only this universe's pantheon that wouldn't be close to enough," He replied. "Tonilia, how many ties do you have to Skyrim. No, to Tamriel."

"Is this the talk you were mentioning earlier?" His talks were getting farther and farther from her worldview. He merely nodded his head while keeping that signature calming smile.

"I left the Thieves Guild for you, you are my only tie," She somehow managed to mix regret with gratitude in that solemn face. Yuri wanted to cut through it.

"Good!" He flashed a wide grin. "It wouldn't do any good for you if we had to leave something you love behind."

"You better not be taking me anywhere gross across Nirn to do your job"

"Deal"

Tonilia frowned. That was too easy. Yuri grew sheepish.

"Because we won't be staying in Nirn as long as you are staying with me"

"...Come again?"

Yuri then went on to describe the task he was given by the god who saved him, the nature of the world he was from to some degree without even mentioning her in the same vein as a work of fiction, and how traveling between dimensions was a fact for him.

"Huh..." Tonilia leaned back in her chair. She had long left her food alone.

Yuri did the same and looked at her with concern. 'I really did lay in on too thick this time'

"Are you okay? I don't need your response today"

"Yuri, I don't need you to treat me like a flower in a vase" She gave him her old-fashioned squinting challenge glares. "It's just a lot to take in is all. If you dare leave me behind in this shitty world I'll hunt you and this Akasha bitch down myself!" She leaned over the table and stuck her finger on his nose.

"Ha...Hahahaha!"

Yuri was flying over a mountain range just behind Falkreath at the moment. Shrouded in fog, the massive natural barrier between Cyrodiil and Skyrim would be more than capable of making an Empire such as the current one difficult to communicate with. No wonder Skyrim was so monolithic in its wildness.

Tonilia had told him that she can grow strong on her own when she finds her stride out there with him. He believed her, but he wasn't going to transfuse himself into a spiritual being and leave her behind in a mortal body whether she liked taking handouts or not. In the meantime, he was browsing through the Exchange for stuff about Martial Arts that he and Tonilia could practice now but he wouldn't have to change out too soon.

'Thrashing Wind Palms, Art of Patient Fist, Gripping and Tackling... Oh! This looks fancy but it has beginner steps too.'

[Raging River, Rending Phoenix, Roaring Dragon - By Flint Kaldrik]

'Flow without end, Cut without blade, Rise without wings. The three arts of the Kaldrik family name have served as a basis that Flint built into the greatest barehanded martial arts to ever grace the Mythic Octagram'

'I suppose these are the first three parts in a nine-part series. Who and wherever you are Mr. Kaldrik, thanks for the book.'

[Just make sure to go kick some ass, kid] *bzzzzz* [Raging River, Rending Phoenix, Roaring Dragon - By Flint Kaldrik purchased - 15,010 RP left]

*SCREEEEEECHHHH* "WHAT THE FUUUUUUUCK" Yuri pressed hard on his nonexistent brakes and stared dumbly at his floating screen until it disappeared a second later.

"Did Mr. Kaldrik get stuffed into my system?!"

Outside the bounds of the Akashic Records and well beyond the area of the Firmament that Yuri and Akasha resided, Flint Kaldrik laughed lightly while sitting in his chair.

"What a shame, the kid should've been born here."

"You took over the Record's influence here and yet you still let them get away with some of your good works"

"All according to plan, love"

"Your plans almost always go sideways, love"

"It's a simple one, and it's out of my hands now. Spread the love of Dao and Sorcery across the Firmament! I didn't even need to do it myself, wherever Akasha goes so do my influence."

"Still, it's a sad fate she tied herself to, that Akasha."

"Yeah, yeah. I'm more interested in that Champion she took. It's starting to look familiar. Will the tale of Prometheus be told once more, even outside of my Omniverse?"

"Your tale is one of a kind, dear."

"Trickster king who passed the flame..."

"Quit looking at other Omniverses dear, you have your own to run"

"Haha, that I do"

Yuri's horrified question earned him no response, so he merely resolved himself to look for more of Kaldrik's work with more attentiveness.

'Either he has something to do with the system or... he's stronger than it. What a terrifying thought. I hope I can reach that place myself'

On his way to Cyrodiil he looked at his surroundings change lightly while spending most of his time reading the new book he bought.

Raging River, all about fluidity. It tells a tale of a river that carved through a mountain with patience and single-minded focus. Its moves are designed to circulate through and disable bigger enemies and rely on open palm techniques to accomplish a redirection of force instead of blocking. Much about moves to use an opponent's force against them like Aikido in there.

Rending Phoenix, a crafty art that uses elbows to cut weapon attacks off short, claws to rend through armored foes, and gives a variety of footwork and kicks to lean upon. Fit with techniques to handle sword wielders, it's a swordsman killer.

Roaring Dragon, a straightforward art with typical barehanded valiant warrior moves, but these shits seemed to really pack a punch. By the final move, he should be capable of blowing a moon apart barehanded with zero mana and much less strength than he would normally need to do so.

Yuri couldn't wait to go home and see if Tonilia had any talent in one of these.

After seeing plains and patches of forest stretch over hills for a sum of time, Yuri could see the magnificent Imperial City in the distance.

The White-Gold Tower in its splendorous heights and bright white coloration was surrounded in a perfect circle by a giant and similarly colored wall. Within the wall and overlooked by the tower were nine districts separated in a wheel-like fashion around the tower. The city overlooked a bay that glistened in the sunlight and led into a river that traveled all the way out of the continent if one traveled its full length. Bridges connected this city to the land, but connected to these bridges were often another tower or a defensive partition.

It was sunset, Yuri had spent most of his day with Toni and flew for over two hours. He was ready to take to the streets and have lunch first before meeting the Emperor. Yuri fell to the ground and started walking shakily before getting a grip on his land legs and finding an alley to unshroud in.

───※ ·❆· ※───

After eating a light lunch, Yuri shrouded himself once more and made his way to Green Emperor Way, the district that held the Tower and all the possible residences an Emperor can have. The current one was West of the Tower, and had marvelous gothic stonework. Yuri prefers modern designs but he isn't averse to cathedral aesthetics.

Yuri noticed that when he tried to probe the three stories castle walls he only made about three feet in before he couldn't garner any more details. Anyone else would have likely not been able to get an inch inside the place. He also couldn't physically teleport in there due to this.

'Then again, what do I have the perfect key for. [Doormaster]'

Black Sanskrit-like runes made their way across his right arm just like the star in his heart held the key in its right arm, and Yuri made his way past the barrier without issue. He could now feel numerous battlemages with pretty decent mana signatures and scholarly men that were probably moth priests in multiple quarters across the building. He could also feel Titus Mede II at the top floor in a room facing the Tower, guards posted at the door, and two guard quarters on either side the next door down.

'Aw, he's alone the poor man. Or that's on purpose. It's rather late and he's probably expecting me due to that letter'

Yuri TP'd in there and sat down in the chair across from Titus desk like it was ready for him. Titus widened his eyes at the fact that no one spotted anything odd enter the premises, but that was a test anyway.

"With those kinds of skills, it seems you really are capable of bringing down a city"

"I won't be going about it stealthily"

"Well, then I hope you are confident. So? Name your price and it will likely be waiting for you depending on how well you do"

"What I want all the intelligence of Thalmor operations in Summerset."

"...Nothing else?"

"Don't breathe too easy. If I think of something I'll be back to hound you for it"

"Hahaha, well I'll be more than willing to rub shoulders for such a thankless job. As long as it's in my power you can have it. Now, all the information regarding Thalmor assets are in here"

Yuri looked down to where he was pointing and found a logbook on the desk already.

"Is there a specific timetable I should take or avoid?"

"I was hoping you could hit them hard enough before they notice I haven't answered their angry letter," Titus picked it up and waved it lazily.

"Hm. No promises." Yuri got up with that final word and vanished in a poof of smoke.

"Antsy kid, huh?"

In truth, Yuri had already got more than what he came for. Looking through Titus' mind, he found the Elder Scrolls in the White-Gold Tower were scattered across Tamriel by unknown means in the year 4E 175. Yuri didn't believe that all of them were lost to the wind, perhaps the Aldmeri had accounted for a good source of RP. After this event, he might go hunting for more Aedric and Daedric Artifacts to pool up an emergency fund.

I'm tired as shit. Goodnight
