" Why ? Is he stupid ?" Claude asked, even a child would understand the problems.

" I know how you think but the thing is way more complicated than it seems. The mage wants to marry his daughter because she doesn't have any talent as a mage and even if she is considered talented in swordsmanship. He thinks that marrying her off would be more profitable than letting her talent grow. It would allow him to support the eldest son of the Duke without breaking any rules. It would also allow him to have an Orsini even though mixed with Duke's blood to fight for the Duchy. This would mix the Orsini bloodline with the Howard bloodline and they would become a direct branch family to the Howards."

" The current Marquess who called you doesn't want this to happen. Nobody knows what his reasoning is but according to some people he hates the Duke's bloodline not openly but confidentially and he adores the girl you are going to teach and doesn't want to marry her off to a noble brat. He wants her to stay free." The knight said and looked at Claude with a look which told him something.

' This is all just a facade he created. He has some other ulterior motives.' Claude thought with a smirk.

" But what is my involvement in this ?" Claude asked.

" Obviously marrying the young lady to you is a better option. You might not know it but there are rumours saying that you tamed a beast and killed someone with cold blood but only Marquess and some other people's know about the true story. Everyone else thinks that you are a murderer but those who knows about your talent and personality or atleast heard of it will marry their daughter to you without a single thought."

" I mean think of it. A single child who is sword master, a tier 3 mage who has mastered at least three out of the 9 basic elements and the little brother of an Aura user. Also who works hard rather than sitting tight and enjoying. You are not narrow minded either and I can guarantee that."

" Some people even say you can use an Aura of your own, do you ?" He asked.

" Well, I would have not told a person who sells his Lieges information for a single emperion of silver but it is not something I am going to hide anyway. So yes I also have my own personal Aura." Claude said.

" And you can kill anyone and everyone if they mess with your family ?" The knight asked.

" The people I consider family." Claude instantly replied.

" Do you consider your mother Amber your family ?" The knight asked.

" No, I do—" Claude abruptly stopped when he realised that he was being extorted by the knight.

He looked at the knight with disgust and contempt but the knight simply smirked and said :-

" What ? It's hard to have 4 kids along with their mother and a lover. Even a knight master's job doesn't pay enough to satisfy them. That's why I take any job possible and giving information is the best paying job." The knight said honestly.

Sigh….

Claude simply sighed and asked :-

" What if I don't want to marry the young lady ?"

" At the very least they will have a good relationship with you. They think that you also have contempt and hatred towards the Duke's family. By supporting you they hope that you grow strong enough to oppose the Duke's family." He said.

" I will never do that." Claude said with indifference.

" Why ?"

" Why you ask, I consider my late step mother my one and only mother. I don't hate my biological mother but I don't like her either. For me she is just a few percent higher than a stranger. The same goes to the Duke's family. They are just a bunch of strangers to me." Claude replied.

' That means you won't even look forward or backward to wage a war for the people you consider family…..' The knight thought with a smile.

" Now tell me about this young lady a bit." Claude asked.

" She is as beautiful as a flower but as fierce as fire at the same time. You can call her soiled but she is nothing like those nobles. For the whole territory of Fitoya she is known as a tyrant but they are fools who didn't give her the chance to understand them." He continued with a small smile.

" She protects those weaker than her. She has a pure heart which will even melt a demon but she won't forget you if you did anything wrong to her. She is a free spirit who does whatever she wishes but never once had any of her pranks and naughtiness has caused any problem to anyone."

" She is spoiled by everyone in the family, especially her grandfather the Marquess. Just a short note but her father always distances himself from her. Except for that she is the youngest in the family with an elder brother who is training to become the successor. You should be wary of him as he is a siscon who loves his sister."

" Except for that there might also be other family members but they are not that important as they do small jobs. You will recognise her in an instant with long crimson hair, sharp Ruby like eyes." He stopped when he saw a walled city in front of his eyes.

" The capital of the territory of Fitoya, Velvet city." The knight said, looking at the huge open gates.

Claude pulled out another 3 silver emperions from his pocket and threw it towards the knight and gave order :-

" You take one and give each to both the other knight and carriage driver. Tell them to keep their mouth shut."

The knight had a wide grin on his face as he earned two silver emperions in a day. He went towards the carriage driver and knight to give them their share while also telling them their orders. The knight simply smiled and nodded his head while the carriage driver couldn't believe his eyes. After all, as the carriage driver of the Marquess he earns around 80-90 bronze emperions a month. He has literally earned a month's salary in a day and he was also happy to comply with the orders. In reality they were not going to talk about their conversation anyway but doing something natural and doing something with given orders and a price is totally different to them. They will only speak about this matter to someone who pays a higher price than Claude which is hardly possible.

Claude had gotten a ton of money from selling the sandalwood-like wooden planks. Ares had distributed some around the village while he himself had taken some and given most of that money to Claude. As he was going to leave away from them and it was his money in the first place.
