Birthday party

They both left the dark woods before evening as they wanted to go home first and dress up. Usually birthday party's are not held like this at least among peasants but according to Ares Maria's dad had a good harvest this year. That's why it is also a way to say thank you to your neighbours.

Claude and Eren had to go along with Ellen today as the birthday party invited at least one parent with childrens. Claude and Eren went home to get ready with the clothes.

When they both were ready they both looked quite cute and handsome in their outfits.

Claude was wearing a plain white shirt with white shorts. He also had a white cape with embroidery which reached his hand joints. He also wore his beret cape but this time it was pure white in colour just like his outfit. He was wearing white shoes as well. All in all he looked cute, charming and a little handsome.

Eren wore a scarlet red shirt with black shorts. Unlike Claude who wore a cape, Eren was wearing a clothes suspenders belt. He was wearing a flat cap from the era of mafia from Claude's original world which was black in colour. He was also wearing black shoes. He also looked handsome and charming but compared to Claude he looked above average.

They both had different hair styles. While Claude's hair were straight and silky, he had bangs like those asian hair styles but Eren had his hair sleek back due to their messy nature.

Both Ellen and Layla squealed in joy seeing both kids looking cute and charming.

" Claude, you said you were going to bring a gift, did you bring it ?" Ellen asked.

" Yes, lord mother. It's right here." Claude said, opening a small ring box.

In the box there was a beautiful butterfly brooch made from metal. Ellen, Eren and Layla were in awe seeing such fine details on the brooch. Claude's mastery over flames had increased so much after the training with the flames roar that he could simply turn a piece of metal into a beautiful piece of art. Claude likes details and clothing, you can say he wants things according to his aesthetics.

" Alright Claude do your thing." Ellen said.

Claude has learned from experiments that he can share his awakened breathing with someone. He can't cultivate their core but giving them nutrients and rest is something possible. He simply sends the tendrils of world energy from himself to Ellen through touch. This removes acnes or unnecessary bacteria from the face and removes the signs of aging such as wrinkles, dark circles and other things. When he told everyone about this in the house, the whole house was in uproar. It seems like even though weak this is a tier 5 healing spell but no one asks Claude how he does that so he didn't have problem hiding his awakened nature. Ellen loved this treatment as it made her beautiful and refreshed. So from time to time she asks Claude to do it and Claude happily agrees. This doesn't take a single bit of his mana so he can do it every day. Though the exhaustion is something which he can't control.

" Thank you Layla for everything you have done so far." Everyone including Eren, Claude and Ellen bowed towards Layla and said respectfully.

Layla was brought in this house as a babysitter for Claude since the day of his birth. Today was the day she is going to leave the manor. It's not that anyone wanted to remove her, it's more like she got enough experience to be called a veteran maid and babysitter. She is going to leave the job for greater opportunities. She cried a lot as for her Claude was very special.

After everything was done Claude and Eren went in the direction of the village. The snow was not falling but there was white snow on the ground as far as the eyes could see. Usually it would have been Ares who would come alongside them in this birthday party but Ares had gone to the viscounts palace to give his yearly report to the viscount. He won't return for at least a week. That's why he had assigned two of his master rank subordinates to come alongside Claude, Ellen and Eren in the village.

When they finally entered the village they were the centre of attention. Either people were checking the people who came with two knights or they were checking the most beautiful person of the village Claude. Claude somehow had become a source of attraction in the village of venia due to his looks and due to his rare appearance. After three to five years of living in the village, Claude had gotten used to stares. Most of the men of the village were looking at Ellen due to her above average beauty and her huge bosom.

' Fucking perverts!! ' Claude and Eren both thought in unison with disgust. After all like most kids they both especially Claude didn't like the idea of looking at their parents sexually.

" Don't worry boys. I think of their stares as the stares of admiration even though I want to kill them on the spot." Ellen said in a whisper. She also didn't like anyone staring at her in that way except her husband.

When they finally reached Maria's house they saw the door open and some men outside the house smoking, probably friends of Maria's father or fellow parents. They greeted the trio with knights and tried their best at avoiding Ellen's boobs but they utterly failed. When one of the knights kept his hand on the sheathed sword's hilt and glared at them did they stop staring at her bosom, scared shitless. Only when Ellen gestured to the knight to calm down did their fear lessened.

" Eren, Claude you finally came!!" Maria came to ask the men if they required snacks or something by her mother's order but she simply forgot about that when she saw Eren and Claude.She was surprised at how much they had changed.

" Hey Maria, " Eren said with a small smile.

" Hello miss Maria, " Claude said with a polite smile.

When they entered they saw all the kids from before including the glasses kid sitting on the couch talking.

" Let's go sit with others." Maria said.

" Nah, we are fine." Eren said while furrowing his brows. He still had a grudge on them for calling his younger brother a whores son.

" Haha, sorry Maria but we are fine." Claude also declined her because who knows because of their stupid squabble Eren subconsciously might call the Aura of Bloodlust.

" But…. But….." Maria was stuck between two rivers. She didn't want to leave them alone but she also can't ignore her friends.

" Just go. We don't like talking with people." Claude said with a reassuring smile.

She finally gave up and went to sit with her friends. Claude and Eren simply ignored the other people and kept chatting before a man with his wife came towards them.
