There was always someone

"With what? How would you avenge them? With your small fingers? Or with that darkness in your heart?" She asked sadly.

"I know I am nothing right now but Yukio sama has agreed to help me" Rudina replied.

"Yukio can't help you if I decide not to" the lady replied "You have to come over to the side of light Rudina"

"How?" Rudina whispered. She needed their help if she wanted to save her people and there was no way she was going to say no. She knew she was powerless and a no one as she had no place to return to.

"By seeking salvation" The lady said.

"Salvation?" Rudina asked, confused. What had salvation had to do with her revenge?

She wanted revenge not salvation for them. She wanted the person who did this to her people, dead. She wanted all of them dead, not just the person alone, she needed everyone involved indirectly or directly dead.

"My child that's a weird thought you have" The lady sighed bitterly "It is wrong to think like that…"

"But…"

"So what if you kill them? Then? You spend more than thirteen years here striving to learn and to be stronger, better and become a good leader and then all you do when you leave is kill those people who did killed your loved ones" she paused

"Yes" Rudina nods her head.

"And then what comes next?" The lady asked, walking up to Rudina.

"What?" Rudina asked, flabbergasted.

"You heard me" The lady said standing in front of Rudina "What comes next? After you defeat them then what?"

Rudina stood there with a lost look. She had never thought of that. She had never thought of what she would do next.

"Has it ever occurred to you that after you kill the present ruler of your March that you will become the next?" The lady asked.

"Present ruler? Someone is leading the March?" Rudina asked, annoyed. She couldn't believe that the bastard who had destroyed her March would dare take it for himself and become it's ruler.

"What made you think he wouldn't take it? Did you think he would destroy it and then just leave it?" She laugh sarcastically

Rudina breathed heavily as she began to be filled with rage.

"Why did you think they took your lands? To play? Or to see your father defeated?" The lady asked.

Rudina looked away with rage in her eyes. It annoyed her that this person could see through her so much.

"Ha!" The lady looked down at Rudina in outer disbelief. She couldn't believe it.

"How are you this dumb? Your dad and your mom where brilliant people to be exact they were so wise how are you this dumb? How did it never occur to you that they killed your father and his men just so they could take your lands?"

"Nobody ever told me that they wanted out lands" Rudina replied

"Does anybody need to tell you?" The lady asked.

"Yes! Till I got to this place I never did anything on my own" Rudina said angrily "There was always someone with me! Someone helped me take a bath, someone helped me wear my clothes, someone taught me at school. There was always someone"

"And where is that someone?" She asked.

"Gone" Rudina replied bitterly "And I'll fight till my last breath…"

"Alone?"

"No, with my friends. I know we can do…"

"You think you, the witch, the siren and that omega Gorgon can defeat your enemy alone and no one will say anything

about it? You think the kingdom would just watch four young girls take half of their lands and they would say nothing? I wouldn't even let you" the lady said, rejecting the idea.

"Why?" Rudina asked with mixed emotions. She couldn't tell if she was annoyed or confused or if it was both. She couldn't tell.

"Because that's a dumb move. You need a plan" She said "I'll tell you something Rudina the person who took your lands is as strong as the king or maybe even stronger since he took your March"

She paused looking at Rudina then continued "But there is someone stronger than him and that person is on his way with the new king who would be stronger. If you have that person by your side no one would question how you took back your lands and extra. Even if you move mountains no one would care"

She paused again looking at Rudina who had a look she didn't quite understand on her face. If she hadn't been able to read minds she wouldn't have known what Rudina was thinking.

'All I need is that person' Rudina thought to herself.

"You know what? I'll send you back down there till you are ready. I want you to think about what you really want and if we meet again I'll give you your powers and if we don't then forget about it" The lady said.

"Wait what do you mean by that?" Rudina asked. Powers?

"I hope when we meet again you will have become a better person" she said, giving Rudina a soft push.

"What if we don't?" Rudina asked as she fell.

"Then this is goodbye" She replied
