(Arron Waters POV (He isn't a knight yet))

'Gods I feel like shit, curse the man who created Ale.' The reason for those thoughts is simple. I was currently inside a pub in the Riverlands hungover while looking for the next person willing to hire a sellsword like me.

Seeing how everybody in here was too drunk to even look my way, I decided to go outside, take a piss and see where the world led me.

But before I could even reach a somewhat private place I heard the sounds of people arguing.

"I've already told you I have no gold, only apples to sell." That voice sounded like an old man desperate for help, perfect for me.

Walking to where I heard the sound I found three very crazy-looking men surrounding the old man, his cart, and two horses.

'They're only armed with crooked-looking swords.' That made things easier for me.

Before I could get close I heard a small whimper coming from beneath the cart, a sound the three men thankfully didn't hear.

Deciding to ignore the sound I called out, "Oy why don't you leave the old man alone."

Turning towards me, the biggest of them sneered and said, "It's none of your business, go away before things get ugly."

Letting out a long sigh at that I merely walked towards them and repeated the same thing as before, "I said leave him alone."

Sneering once more one of the men took out his sword and leveled it at me as a warning not to come closer.

And just like that my hangover was forgotten instead replaced by adrenaline and years of combat focus drilled into me by the rebellion, so before the man could say anything I drew my dagger and in a quick motion threw it right at his heart instantly killing him, seeing their friend die before their eyes the remaining crooks took out their weapons and charged towards me, deciding a dagger was not suited for this combat I drew my sword from its scabbard and deflected the first thrust aiming towards my lower abdomen and returned the favor by cutting the man's head off, 'Two down one remaining.'

Seemingly smarter than the first guy, the supposed leader did not recklessly charge but instead said "You'll regret that boy." that said he approached me slowly, sword held high. 'It seems this one's smarter, Slowly approaching him as well I made a slash aiming towards his heart, somehow parrying it the man tried a downward slash toward my shoulder, returning the favor by Parried that and simply cut his throat all of it in quick succession, thus ending this sorry excuse for combat.

Apparently, the old man had never seen a man die judging by the way he was puking in a corner.

Once he finished his unpleasant business he turned towards me and approached quickly saying a quick succession of thanks towards me, to that I simply waved him off and told him its nothing,

"It's nothing my friend you saved me and my daughter from those men."

Before I could wave him off again his daughter came out from beneath the cart and bowed towards me, I had to admit the girl was rather pretty.

"Thank you for saving us, good sir."

"I'm not a knight girl." blinking confusedly at that she asked.

"Then what are you?."

"Just a man looking for money".

Seemingly gaining a bright idea the man asked me, "Then why don't you accompany us to King's Landing, I don't have money right now but once I sell something I can pay you."

It seems the world led me here seeing as I now had the job I was looking for I smiled and nodded at the man.
