Chapter 51 Payback

After Lilly's speech, all of them left the room as Lilly said to them. "Remember what I said to you girls, and don't forget the plan, got it?"

The girls replied by giving her a slight nod.

They all walked over to the kitchen as it was already afternoon. Of course, when afternoon comes, lunch is not far away.

After entering the dining room that led to the kitchen. They separated with Amber and Rose going to their chairs at the table while Lilly and Miya walked over to the kitchen.

As soon as they entered the kitchen, Lilly turned around and said to Miya. "You don't have to help me, you know? I can do this myself."

"Well, I want to help since you help us so much." Miya swiftly replied.

Lilly gave her a smile before heading to the counter as she began preparing the ingredients.

"Miya, can you hand over my knife please?" Lilly called out.

Upon hearing Lilly's request, Miya grabbed the knife from it's holding place, flipped it mid-air, caught it by the blade tip before offering the handle to Lilly. Miya gave Lilly a childish smile after performing this.

Lilly grabbed the knife and said. "Thank you, but never do that again."

And with that, they started cooking as the dining room was eventually filled with people. Including the one they were expecting, Chrys.

Chrys sat down on his chair and waited like the others.

While waiting, he casually swept the table with his gaze.

He saw Morgan saying something to Hela, Loki sleeping on the tabletop, V being his grumpy self, and finally, Rose and Amber talking to each other about something random.

He stared at Rose, which caused Rose to look back.

But, Chrys saw something past those confused eyes as he caught sight of a sweat drop falling from Amber face from the other side of the table.

"Hey, Lilly! Get going, you're taking so long the girls are starting to sweat." Chrys said as he sat comfortably in his chair.

"Shut it, you golden-eyed bastard!" Lilly voice erupted from the kitchen while still being hard at work. She looks a bit stressed, as her hair has lost it's clean apperance.

"Hmm..." Chrys laid on the back part of his chair with his hand on his chin, seemingly pondering something.

A moment later, a smirk appeared on his face.

He then silently waited while wearing that same smirk as the rest continued to do what they're doing, paying him no mind.

After a few more minutes, the food was served onto the table. Lilly and Miya sat down on their chairs, joining the others on the table.

And like usual, Lilly clapped her hands and said. "Thanks for the food." And like clockwork, chaos erupted.

After taking a sip on the soup, Chrys said with the smirk from earlier still on his face. "Mmm, this is somehow better than usual, Lilly. You must be in a good mood."

Lilly and Morgan looked at Chrys while the others paid them no attention. Morgan let out a sigh, shook her head, before returning to her food.

Meanwhile, Lilly answered. "My mood will be better if you weren't here!"

"Hmm, harsh." Chrys said before returning to his food while still wearing that smirk.

"Hmph!" Lilly snorted as she took her first bite on her food, still looking angry.

But, inside Lilly's head, she said to herself. "That's right. I know that you know what I know that you now know."

"That's right. All according to plan. Play along, you damned golden bastard!"

As Lilly and the others continued to eat, Chrys placed his hand on the table.

A second later, a whole roast chicken began to float in the air.

"Whoa, magic trick." Chrys exclaimed as the chicken moved in such a way that in Lilly's view, the entirety of his face with the exception of the smirk that's formed on his mouth to get blocked by the chicken.

"Hey! Put that chicken down, you selfish bastard! I'm not done with that!" V shouted while pointing his spoon towards Chrys.

"Of course, you're not." Chrys said as the chicken slowly set itself back on it's plate. He then took another bite on his food while still wearing that arrogant smirk.

Lilly didn't react to Chrys' actions and just continued on eating her food.

After a few minutes of eating, Chrys then pulled something again.

"Hahaha!" Chrys laughes triumphantly as the noodles on his plate floated in the air.

"Look, Morgan. It's your face." Chrys continued.

Morgan looked up from her plate and saw a vague image of a face made from pasta floating in front of her.

"It looks pretty bad." Morgan replied in monotone as she gripped her bow by the side of her chair.

"Well, there's only so much you could do with pasta. But, let me show you what can't get worse no matter the rendition..." Chrys replied as the pasta in the air began to move on their own.

After a few more seconds, it formed a familiar looking face.

"...It's V's ugly mug!" Chrys proclaimed.

Before the owner of the face could react, Morgan took her fork, and used it to mess with the floating pasta, making it look like a jumbled mess of floating noddles.

"That was satisfiying. There fixed it for you." Morgan said with a straight, emotionless face while still holding onto her bow.

"Hey! Shut it, the two of you shit-heads! Who gave you permission to use my face?!" V shouted as he pointed at the floating mess of pasta.

"Hey, Goldie! Give me her face, so I can get payback!" V added.

"Sure, I'm feeling very generous today." Chrys replied as the pasta moved closer to V.

A few moments later, the pasta formed a hand with it's middle finger pointed directly at V's face.

"You piece of shit!" V screamed as he took his fork, and pointed it at the floating middle finger made of pasta.

"Hey! Don't play with your food!" Lilly shouted as she stood up from her chair while slamming her fist onto the table.

After what Lilly said, the pasta moved towards Lilly, making V miss the pasta which made it's way into an empty plate on the table.

"Aww, don't be mad, Lil." Chrys said with the same smirk he had since the beginning.

"Don't call me by that name! You don't have the right, you damned golden freak!" Lilly yelled.

"Ouch! That hurt... Lil." Chrys said as he held his chest while wearing an evil smile.

Lilly then moved her chair backwards, walked behind Morgan, and onto Chrys side. Chrys just stared at her without saying a word, only giving her his sinister smile.

Lilly then pulled out a small wooden box from her coat.

It was the camera.

She pointed it's lens straight at his face and shouted. "Take this you evil bastard! This is punishment! This will complete my collection!"

Lilly's shouting caused everyone to focus their attention to her. Yet, the man she was shouting to remained calm.

Chrys placed his elbow onto the table with his fist facing the ceiling. He then placed his chin on it as he said. "I call your bluff."

Just then, all the empty plate floated in the air. Blocking everyone on the table view of Chrys' face especially Rose, who held her own identical copy of the camera.

She wore a confused expression as her view of Chrys' face was blocked by plates, making her unable to take his picture.

"Hahaha!" Chrys giggled as his mouth formed a smile.

Then suddenly, a flash brightened the room. After the light disappaitted, Chrys looked at the direction the light came from.

It came from further down the table, it came from a girl leaning back on her chair, giving them a view without the obstruction of the plates. It was Miya.

Miya held a camera underneath her grey, fur coat with Amber holding out her coat, giving Miya a clear shot of Chrys' face.

A moment later, a film popped out of the camera. And, it showed Chrys' smiling face, preserved on it's paper.

"I... did it?" Miya thought.

While everyone was still quiet and unmoving, Chrys stood up from his chair, and said with a calm look on his face. "I see..."

He then began slowly and menacingly turned his head towards Miya and Amber. It sent a chill up their spine as the injuries he gave them the last time he did this move ached upon meeting his gaze.

As Chrys took his first step forward, everyone else in the room jolted up from their seats, rushed to Chrys' side and held him down.

"Hahaha! You already lost, Goldie! So, stop now!" Lilly said with a triumpant smile as she hugged Chrys from his lower back to his abdomen.

"Sorry. Lilly has been working hard for this moment." Morgan said as she held Chrys by the right wrist.

"I don't like working with Whitey, but this is an exception. This is payback from all the shit you pull on me, you little bitch!" V taunted as he grabbed Chrys by the left shoulder.

Hela climbed on top of the table, went to the other side, walked in front of Chrys and said while looking confused. "She said she will give me extra."

Hela then placed a hand on Chrys' chest and on his face. All of this happened while Loki is sleeping soundly on the table, not having a care in the world.

Of course, not anyone is actually holding Chrys. They are only able to hold the aura around him, but it seems to do the job regardless.

"Go now, girls! Remember the plan!" Lilly shouted to the girls without letting go of Chrys.

The girls gave her a nod before running out the room with Chrys' picture.

The man known as Chrys, who just got his picture taken, has a blank look on his face as his golden eyes seemed to have a distant look to them.

As they ran, Miya remembered the plan Lilly told them back in the clinic.
