"Aaah! That was tiring."
"Just deal with it. Also, wasn't it your fault for getting us into that situation?"
"Uh, it wasn't just me... Kenny, Deniss, and Brad was also in on it."
"Oi! Don't bring me into this! I'm innocent!"
"Innocent my ass!"
As a group of people argued as they walked, they were suddenly met with a large gate surrounded by walls on both sides.
"All of you! Be quiet!" Dianne said to the group behind her before she approached the gate.
But, just as she was about to knock on the door and open her mouth, the gate suddenly creaked open.
Standing before the now wide open gate, a gentle looking servant bowed in a graceful manner, saying. "Welcome, esteemed guests, to the Fang family's estate. We have been expecting you."
Dianne and the others immediately composed themselves as they greeted. "Thank you for having us."
After being led through an impressive front courtyard, they then made it into the front building.
The servant then turned towards them, bowing while saying. "I will leave now you to yourselves. If you need assistance or unsure if you are allowed into a certain room, please ask any of us and we will help you in the best way we can."
After receiving a nod of approval from the group, the servant then left, only to be replaced by a certain young woman.
The young woman then greeted with familiarity. "Um, hello. I didn't expect... almost everyone is here."
"Lady Fang. You don't need to greet us personally."
As some of them began greeting the newly arrived Lady Fang, Kenny walked over to Deniss, whispering. "Hey, Deniss..."
"What?"
"Remember that chicken I told you about. Keep an eye out for it. Give it to me if possible."
"Okay... weirdo."
After saying that, Kenny then proceeded to walk over to Lady Fang with a smile, greeting. "Hello, Lady Fang. Looking good today."
As Lady Fang turned towards him, she said. "K-Kenny, thank you!"
As Kenny began chatting with Lady Fang, the rest began separating as they started walking through the halls and gardens of the mansion.
As they walked together in the same direction, Joan asked Sumsa. "What exactly are we looking for?"
To which Sumsa answered with a yawn. "Honestly... I wasn't even listening. Something suspicious, I guess..."
"Why did I even ask? Okay then." Joan said before she left Sumsa on her own as they went on separate paths.
Meanwhile, with Brad and Shan, Shan asked. "Why are we here?"
To which Brad replied. "I don't know. That interrogation from earlier is still messing with my head. Like... why did they need to know what color of underwear you prefer?"
"What did you just say?!"
"It was just a joke, Shan. No need to get mad." Brad said with a smile.
"I still remember what you did to me yesterday, Brad."
"Oops! It seems I am too far to hear what you are saying!"
"Brad! I will have my revenge! Get back here! I need a new high score!"
As Shan chased Brad across the halls, Dianne, who was in the garden all alone, was just taking a stroll.
Then, with a swift motion, she slapped herself in the face, causing her cheeks to redden.
She then said to herself. "Focus, Dianne. The others are most likely running around like headless chickens. Haaaa... why did I even bring them?"
As Dianne began searching the place, looking like she was already defeated, coincidentally, there was a chicken in the premises.
And it was having a staredown with a certain man. That man's name is Kenny.
Kenny, who was turning Lady Fang around, stated. "Why don't we go this way? This way looks far nicer."
Causing Lady Fang to answer. "Uh, okay."
As Kenny and Lady Fang began to walk the other direction, the chicken, who looks like it is ready to commit genocide, began following them.
Just as it was enlarging it's chest while opening it's beak, coming tackling from the side, Deniss caught the chicken while making sure it doesn't make a single noise
Even though the chicken's movements in Deniss' arms should cause quite a bit of noise, it doesn't. It even got a chance to open it's beak, but not a single noise came out.
As Deniss dragged the silenced chicken to the side, Kenny and Lady Fang happily talked with each other as they walked away.
But then, Kenny turned around, gave the helpless chicken a dominant glare before returning to Lady Fang with a smile.
As the chicken watched helplessly as Deniss continued to drag it away, somewhere with Joan, she knocked on a door, saying. "Hello? Anybody in there?"
"..."
Hearing no reply, Joan let herself in, only to be shocked at what she saw.
The inside of the room looked like it was some sort of storage room, but in the middle of the room, a bunch of ants are simply spiraling into their death.
"Umm..." Joan watched on in confusion, trying to figure out what was happening before her.
Then, without disturbing the ants a single bit, Joan walked back out of the door before closing it.
And without saying a word, Joan just continued on walking. Walking through the halls with a blank expression.
Meanwhile, with Brad, who then opened a door without knocking.
He was then greeted by a bizzare sight.
In the middle of a wide, open room, a group of old men are doing some sort of weird dance moves around of what looks to be an urn.
At the moment Brad opened the door, the old men stopped whatever they were doing, pausing in place like time just froze.
Feeling an awkward, yet dangerous feeling in his bones as a nervous sweat dripped down his face, Brad did the only thing someone would do in this situation. Dance.
After doing a few dance moves, Brad struck a pose as he said. "I'm sorry for interrupting. I'll knock next time." Before closing the door and getting out of there like his life depended on it.
Meanwhile, in a luxurious looking room, Sumsa was rummaging through a bunch of stuff on the table inside the room.
Then, Dianne walkes through the open door, saying. "Sumsa."
"Yes?"
"I don't think we are supposed to be in here."
"Why do you say that?"
"This is the family head's office."
"So?"
"What?"
"So, what? Didn't we come here to investigate suspicious activities?"
"Yeah. But that doesn't mean we are free to do whatever we want."
"Well... I have already started, so why not finish it, yes?" Sumsa said, gesturing at the papers in her hand.
"Haaa..." With a defeated sigh, Dianne walked over to her before helping her in rummaging through the papers.
After a few minutes of searching, Dianne found a curious detail in the room.
At the leg of the table, she saw an odd looking piece of wood poking out of the wooden table.
Without much thought, Dianne reached for it and touched it.
Dianne then found herself surprised when the wooden piece seemed like it was movable.
"Sumsa." She called out.
"Yes?"
As Sumsa noticed the wooden piece that Dianne was touching, Dianne knelt before the table, causing Sumsa to do the same.
Then, with a gentle push, the wooden piece embedded itself into the table.
Then, another piece of the table launched forward, almost knocking down Sumsa's hats, luckly, she caught them in time.
After Dianne and Sumsa stood up, they took a look inside the hidden compartment.
Picking up the papers inside, the two of them then began reading the contents.
The more time passes, the more the read. And the more they read, the worse their expression became.
"Wha-what is this?!"
"..."
As the two women stood there, speechless, they then noticed a presence watching them at the doorway.
Turning their heads, they saw Lord Fang himself, standing still, at the doorway, with a blank expression.
At the same time, in the courtyard, Shan rested at the bench as she watched the flowers dance with the wind.
Then, Deniss approached her from somewhere.
"What happened to you?" She asked him, gesturing at the scratch marks on Deniss' face.
To which Deniss replied. "Shan, remind me to never help Kenny ever again."
As Shan gave Deniss a handkerchief, a sudden explosion was heard in close proximity.
Immediately, Shan and Deniss went into action, running towards the direction of the explosion, which was inside the mansion's walls.
After they got to the source, they were greeted by a thick, black smoke, hindering their vision.
As they saw Brad and Kenny approaching from afar, Dianne then emerged from the smoke, hugging a bunch of papers on her chest.
"What happened, Dianne?!" Shan asked.
Dianne, who looks completely fine apart from the dust and debris that has collected on her body and clothes, yelled. "Stop him! Shan! Deniss! Stop Lord Fang immediately!!!"
Then, without any hesitation whatsoever, Shan and Deniss lept into the smoke.
As Brad and Kenny arrived, with Joan and some servants on the way, they asked Dianne. "What happened?!"
To which Dianne replied. "We found a traitor! It is Lord Fang! He is inside! But help me with these papers, they are evidence!"
While Brad helped Dianne with the papers, Kenny leapt into the smoke like the others.
Just as Joan, who just arrived, was about to ask something, a gigantic top hat burst from the smoke, sending something flying away.
Taking a look at the wall which caught the projectile the gigantic top hat sent, the people around the area watched as the once dignified Lord Fang, leaned against a wall, barely clinging onto his consciousness.
Then, the top hat began to shrink, shrinking to the point that it looks normal.
Then, a hand emerged from the smoke, grabbed the top hat before placing it onto their head along with the three other hats on their head.
As Sumsa stood confidently outside of the smoke, looking at the heavy breathing Lord Fang, the others that went with her emerged from the smoke, running towards Lord Fang without hesitation.
Just as they were about to attack, Dianne yelled. "Stop! He is still a family head! Incapacitate him first so we can deliver him to Lord Jade!"
