Chapter 7

//Battle of the Strongest: Clash of Domains (1)// 

The two domains expanded at the exact same time. Though this time, Gojo learnt from his previous fights. 

"Wait what? He's shrinking his domain?" 

Issei looked stupidly as he had no idea what was going on "Is that something surprising?" Hakari sighed before explaining "A domain has to be at least big enough for you to envision both you and your targets to be entrapped in. However this is entirely different." 

Ingvlid noted "However, Satoru seems to have done this due to the fact that Sukuna does not close a barrier with a domain." 

The endless slashes in the domain told everyone what was going on. A battle of attrition, Gojo must injure Sukuna to the point he can not maintain his domain and Sukuna must destroy Unlimited Void before that in order to get the sure-hit. 

Ajuka nodded while staring at a stopwatch. "They are evenly matched judging by how neither domain is breaking, should one be weakened, the other's sure-hit will immediately strike."

Azazel whistled, "Man Gojo really is something huh? Breaking every conceivable rule to jujutsu that we've ever known." 

Ingvlid nodded before declaring Gojo's conversation with her "Don't be afraid if you don't understand. Frankly, don't get worried if something happens." 

Sirzechs looked worried "And that means from here on now, none of us know a thing that Gojo or Sukuna is doing."

[Within the Domain Clash]

Gojo grinned realising that their domains were still equal in terms of refinery. "I'll pummel your ass before you even get to call for Mahoraga." Sukuna grinned as he closed in the distance. This time, Gojo was careful in observing how the sure-hit of Sukuna's domain was being affected. The slightest change would mean that Sukuna had turned off the sure-hit and directed the burden of adaptation to Megumi. 

The sudden shift in Domain conditions alerted Gojo immediately as he was forced to dismiss his barrier.

Everyone looked shook as the domain was dismissed rather than destroyed. Yuta looked worried "What is Gojo sensei thinking? He dismissed his domain even at the cost of the overheating of his own cursed technique?" 

The war room turned to silence as a slash reached Gojo's neck and drew blood. Gojo's hand touched the wound as it disappeared. 

"Oh? You've realised quite quickly what I was planning." 

The war room once again expressed confusion with whispers spreading like wild fire. Yuta realised that Gojo must have dismissed it for a reason. "Mahoraga?" Ajuka whipped his head around "That makes sense, most likely Sukuna was trying to have Mahoraga adapt to Gojo's domain. That must have been why, but there's no sign of Mahoraga anywhere?" 

Cuts and slashes ran down on the strongest sorcerer of the modern era as everyone watched in shock. Michael and Gabriel covered their mouths in the show of brutality. Blood was pooling down in a puddle as his arms, eyes, throat. Everything was being slashed. Yet it was disturbing to all three races as they only saw one thing. A smile, a relieved smile as if he had won. Gojo could only thank whatever brought him here, that Sukuna did not receive an extra boost either. 

Everyone immediately took Gojo for a psycho the moment the words left his mouth as Sukuna smirked. 

"I'm glad, when it comes down to it. My cursed technique is far better." 

Immediately Gojo took off trying to get outside of the range of Sukuna's domain only to be locked down. A quick simple domain as the wounds healed and the slashes stopped. 

"Simple Domain" 

Sukuna's eyes gave a sense of boredom "How tedious." Gojo immediately landed a punch in Sukuna's liver as he gagged before being thrown into a pit. Gojo's steps were heavy as he pressed down hoping to crush the head of Sukuna only for slashes to continue. The sure-hit of the shrine took effect immediately yet this time Gojo didn't heal. 

Shemhazai noted "It seems, Gojo Satoru has exhausted his cursed energy. Makes sense with all the reverse cursed technique he seems to be outputting." Azazel laughed "No my friend, something strange is going on. Gojo's eyes allow him to never run out of cursed energy. Something else is going on." 

In an instant Gojo Satoru recovered his quick speed movement. At that exact moment Yuta shouted "It can't be!" Gojo who had been filled with slashes had grasped onto Sukuna and locked him point blank with a red.

"Maximum Output: Red!" 

A humongous linear blast exploded into Sukuna's face blowing his face and half his eyes away and into the shrine. 

Sona stared at the phenomenon before asking Yuta "You believe that Gojo san did not heal himself with reverse cursed technique because he was healing his burnt out cursed technique? And what was that output?" 

Yuta nodded "It's what I'm seeing now. That instant, he recovered his technique and managed to use high-speed movement to leg lock Sukuna. And as for his output, the one thing sensei has been doing ever since training with us, is increasing his output. It would be safe to say his output has doubled. 

Gojo dusted himself off as he healed "Phew, that wasn't easy at all. Luckily my output training has helped out." His grin turned maniacal as he pointed his finger at a nearby building. 

"Cursed technique lapse: Blue" 

In an instant the building shifted as Gojo swung his arm and pointed towards the recovering Sukuna. The huge building was flung at him only for numerous dismantles to dice the building into debris. A quick clench of the fist as Gojo tried to crush him within a core made of debris to no avail. 

Sukuna felt himself being pulled into the gravitational point of Blue as Gojo slammed a punch into his chest only for Sukuna to block it with both hands. The King of Curses attempted to lock Gojo's leg and break it only for a red infused punch to slam into where the King's head was just a moment ago. 

They both flew away from the shockwave as a crater was left in the middle of the street. 

"Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void/Domain Expansion: Malevolent Shrine"

The second domain battle had begun.
