Chapter 6

//Battle of the Strongest//

All of the supernatural world was in uproar after the announcement that was made. A fight between two powerhouse pinnacles of the Jujutsu World. Especially with the old satan faction being involved with the King of Curses Ryomen Sukuna. Of course, most Jujutsu sorcerers were now stationed within the war room with the rest of the leaders and their assistants.

The current four satans, Sirzechs, Serefall, Ajuka, Falbium and Grayfia were present representing the devils, for Sirzechs and Serefall, this match was a high priority and the hope was for Gojo to win. The fallen were represented by Azazel and Shemhazai. The angels had come with concern, after all. To some extent, they believed that Gojo was blessed by big capital G up in the sky. And that this was his last blessing to the world. Michael and Gabriel were present. The final group present were the peerages of Rias and Sona. Should Gojo fall, the rest were to immediately nuke Sukuna without rest and hope for a victor. The man the three factions were threatened by.

Suguru, Yuta and Hakari could only bite their nails and wait. To them, Gojo Satoru was the strongest, their benefactor, best friend and teacher. He would win, they all believed.

From within the building, the sheer immense amount of cursed energy was enough to alert the leaders and the war group to the presence of the strongest sorcerer of the modern age, Satoru Gojo.

The six eyes gleamed with a sharp focus. His mood was solemn. Although that changed when he saw his students and his best friend. "Suguru! Yuta!" He smiled and waved. Hakari looked downtrodden, "I've been forgotten." Gojo snorted "I'd never forget you, I just know you wouldn't care about it. But here's your bonuses just in case."

Gojo handed our three envelopes that contained a cheque. "The higher ups wouldn't let me hand you a bonus so I took it out of my own account. Have fun with it when I get back."

Yuta smiled "Go win Gojo sensei!" Gojo flipped his back to his students as the three of them slapped him on the back as he walked to the top of the building. Of course, Hakari had attempted to get back at Gojo for all he punches he had practiced. It worked, but Hakari's fist was the one in pain.

Mei Mei's crows then started the broadcast. All of Shinjuku had been evacuated. The top of the building was currently filmed as the strongest sorcerer walked out with Principal Gakuganji, Ichiji, Ingvlid and Utahime. His eyes were filled with eyes that seemed dead set on something. That something being crushing the King of Curses, one on one. Although, that could potentially change depending on the flow of battle.

Ingvlid and Ichiji were the two that he trusted the most for this. Last time Ichiji himself was good enough to create a barrier that caused Sukuna to misread his opening move. But this time, Ingvlid would be able to layer on top a different barrier to misinterpret the cursed energy.

Invglid looked at Gojo as he walked down the stairs onto the flat top of the building "Satoru, go win it for us alright? And it's okay to pull back if you need to."

Gojo smiled "The first time someone ever told him it was okay to run. But he wouldn't need to this time."

Gojo flared his cursed energy to a maximum output in order to signal the start of the battle to the King of Curses on the other side of the city.

Utahime started dancing as Gakuganji strummed the instrument. Geto stared on before explaining to the others "Utahime's cursed technique, Solo Solo Prohibition Zone, allows a boost in cursed energy output and reserves to any sorcerer within her range of her choosing. None of them can afford to omit a single thing for the opening move."

The war room watched on as they knew if they tried anything outside of preparation, it could go horribly wrong.

Gojo released his held breath as he the sense of deja vu overtook him.

Invglid and Ichiji were sweating profusely and working overtime in order to mask the energy that Gojo was producing. Even then, it was impossible to completely mask the output. But it was surely enough for Gojo's standards.

His fists clasped each other.

"Nine Ropes"

His foot swept to the side.

"Polarised Light."

"Crow and Shomyo"

His foot swept back as he crossed his arm.

"Between Front and Back."

His arm raised and aimed towards the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna.

"200% Output, Imaginary Technique: Hollow Purple"

His finger flicked forward as the imaginary mass was pushed out at a devastating speed. The war room could only stare in shock as the buildings between the two strongest were decimated in an instant. A good chunk of the buildings within the city had collapsed and reduced to rubble. Gojo vanished and warped towards the location that Sukuna had landed at.

Unlike before, Sukuna had misread the move to a greater extent than before, this time losing a whole chunk of his body which soon healed.

Gojo chuckled as he stared at the body. "Looks like you were scared of fighting me and had to pay extra for the premium vessel service."

Sukuna smirked "You fucking brat. You seem quite pleased for having landed a surprise attack."

Gojo shook his head, "No, I'll say it once again, let's get this straight here."

Gojo raised his finger and pointing towards Sukuna.

"You're the challenger~"

The war room was feeling giddy that the attack paid off. However it was still too early to say anything about it yet. Issei stared at the screen "Ddrag, that's the stupid handsome guy? The same dude who just ripped half the city apart in an attack?" Ddraig blinked affirmative through the gauntlet before replying to Issei's secret question.

"Who'd win?"

Ddraig's response was not relieving, "I genuinely do not know."

Sukuna simply took of his coat while Gojo took of his haori as it floated off with the wind. "Let's send your sorry ass back to the past where it belongs."

Sukuna smirked "A fish fresher than the others, but still a nameless fish."

The two rushed towards each other exchanging blows and using only reinforced fists. Sukuna's hand to hand combat was lacking. A missed swing as Gojo sent him flying into a wall with Blue. Sukuna was immediately surprised but soon disappeared as the wall collapsed in the middle bringing them to a bridge. The recovery was fast however Gojo was faster as he power stomped trying to crush the King of Curses.

The entire bridge collapsed as the war room could only gaze in amazement at the level they were operating with pure basics.

They quickly started brawling more as Sukuna sent a slash at Gojo only for it to rip the building behind as it fell on them.

The two swung their fist between the falling door as the entire building was annihilated.

They came out with their hands immediately forming signs.

Yuta was the first to notice "Here it comes!"
