Zane clenched his teeth to tolerate the pain, but the way the mist was spreading inside his body, his body wouldn't last long.

The misty essence was spreading along his veins at a rapid rate, making black veins visible all over his body. Zane tried to stop the essence from exiting his heart core, and used the essence. But strangely, he couldn't use even his own essence. No matter how hard he tried, the essence wouldn't leave his body.

He tried to move his shadow and use his <Arcane >, but he couldn't do that either. "Aghh!" He panicked screamed in pain.

Daolu came running inside the cave. "Friend! You okay?" He approached Zane. He was surprised to see Zane's condition.

"How much essence do you have!?" He moved Zane and put him in a cross-legged position.
