Journey to the west (10)

Sebastian faced the remaining sand skimmer, his focus razor-sharp. The creature darted towards him, but Sebastian did not feel scared. It was quite the opposite.

"Well, well, little bug, Your end is near, just like a thug. You thought you'd win; you thought you're sly, but now it's time to say goodbye."

As the words left Sebastian's mouth, a maniacal grin stretched across his face. The call for blood was strong.

His expression, twisted with glee and anticipation, was a clear window to the madness brewing within.

Sebastian's shield of virtue was still one, but only nine runes were up. They should have been enough, and it wasn't like the runes wouldn't be useful later.

"With a spear in hand, I stand my ground, Your buzzing wings, the only sound. You dart and weave, a dance of death, but I won't yield 'til your last breath. "

Sebastian readied his spear to strike. Sebastian anticipated the skimmer's path, and aimed for a precise strike.
