A new start, a new morning, a new day…This is me Arin who's completely aware of my past and want to make a new future while living honest with my present. I wanted to meet Adrestia, she was the one who took me into my past, showed me who I am ,what is my purpose of this life…My purpose was to meet her, but wont it get too awkward to meet her in this life? The morning today was really pleasant, it was a sunny day. And after going through all that dark shit, such a calm, bright atmosphere was much needed for me. I worked a lot , felt like it had been ages me being worked so seriously,
This Adrestia really held my mind and soul into her control. But now the question was, will she come and meet me today? Or is everything over now? I kind of miss that girl to be honest, yeah she was an annoying punk…but I would surely say that she was not a bad person.. Actually she truly loved Arisa… Waah… Did my past life just tell me I was a lesbian ? GREAT… Wait then…does that mean she's searching me in this life to complete our love story? What? No this cant be….Holy fuck…. I have dated almost 15 boys until today…But I have never…
"You could never have sex with any one of those 15 and still a virgin" She giggled in front of my face. Adrestia walked inside my cabin and sat on the desk facing me.
"Wait…Where did you come from? Listen I know that you're some God or whatever it is, but can you please have a bit manners? Why do you have to appear out of nowhere?" I got mad at her.
"Shhhhhh….Quiet….What makes your tongue roll like this? Feels like you're rapping She put her arms around me and came closer…I panicked… " Hold on !! I know you loved Arisa in my past life, and you want her…but Arisa has reached heaven by now… I am not Arisa…I might be her rebirth but I have a completely different life, This is Arin sitting in front of you…"
She chuckled and took her arms away from me, Got off the desk and walked towards the window.
"This was the window right? You used to wait for me staring outside this window…You were so naïve back then, but look at you today….Woah you became self-aware !! And what made you look into your past? Me !! Adrestia, the great goddess of temptation, greed and lust, and do you know what made me do that? YOUR DIAMOND SOUL!!! Did you ever wonder why are you still virgin? Its because I held you back!! The reason is once you lose your virginity you'll lose the diamond core, and turn into a normal human being."
"But why do you need my soul?? You're a Goddess right?? You already possess so many powers!!" I tried to make her understand even though it was not going to work.
"You call these lowly magic tricks power?? Do you even know how much of my spiritual energy has lost in order to live as a human being on this earth!! I've lived like this for 500 years you fool!! Just to find you, just for that diamond soul!!" She screamed on top of her voice. I shivered a bit with that demonic voice. Sat in my chair… " Lets just stop with this argument Min… Tell me what do I need to do? Do I need to kill myself? Or is there other spiritual technique of your gods to take off soul? Huhh? I am already tired of living like this….
" What made you think that death is the only way to bring out your soul?" She laughed at me. " Just start worshipping me the way you used to worship ASTREA, its's so simple baby…"
I refused to believe that it was this easy….there must be some other dark practices… I Wish Goddess Astrea helped me even in this life….
Sun fell down, leaving bluish black darkness all around… My entire life seemed like a lie, My dreams, ambitions, expectations… i had picturized everything perfectly… but the ultimate truth is your life never goes as you've planned… I was walking down the alley, towards my apartment, watching people around me…. How lucky were they to have a happy normal life… Is it possible for me to lead such a life?
Maybe… Yes, I can live such life only if I get rid of this diamond core which keeps attracting all these supernatural beings… I stood straight in front of temple , This was the Lord Buddha temple in our neighborhood.
Went inside…kneeled down in front of Buddha… I just wanted some moments of peace to think about my future plans… Was there really any way to get out of this mess?
Few minutes passed away in utter silence, Suddenly a sweet fragrance distracted me out of meditation… I opened my eyes, looked around and saw a tall, beautiful lady sitting right beside me, She was wearing a long satin Blue gown…. Her Golden hair reached the ground… She looked at me with a familiar smile on face…
"Arisa… remember me?" She spoke with a very soft tone. I was confused, How did she call me Arisa? She didn't look like any of the person in my past life…
" Did this human body change my appearance? Wow..i didn't even notice that…" She laughed at her reflection in Mirror situated in wall. "
Who are you? How do you know Arisa? Are you…No it can't be… Are you the almighty ASTREA? Goddess ASTREA??" I screamed in surprise, joy and happiness on my face…
" Almighty? People don't use titles like those anymore for me… I have left with no power Arisa… After your death , the diamond core also disappeared… and now after your rebirth Adrestia holds whole control over you which made me unable to capture that diamond core, Arin you want to lead a common human life right? Just give that diamond core to me… Without that core I won't get my powers back…"
I looked at her with disbelief, stood up and walked towards her… " So you want my soul? Goddess of purity, Innocence… Is asking for a soul… How are you going to get it? Will you kill me? The only thing you Gods care about is Powers? Why did you even grant this diamond soul in the first place? To spread your religion on earth and make you the Almightiest God in the universe? You think you're symbol of purity? No your highness…You are no different than Adrestia… Now when you are powerless, you are here to ask for my soul? With what right? This is not Arisa's body and soul !!! This is Arin, Arin's soul and body !! I am the complete owner of both, None of you Gods can take off my
soul !!! "
Tears rolled down my cheeks…
"You think it makes me happy to ask for your soul Arin? I don't have any other way to gain my power back!! I need to get those back for the well-being of human race, Purity and innocence has gotten wiped off from this earth… Lust and greed has overpowered
it!! People are committing serious crimes, they are killing each other…. World has messed up a lot Arin… To stop it from more ruining, I need my powers back… I need to stop Adrestia, she must have told you that her spiritual energy is getting weaker… And if you believed that lie then Congratulations you've been successfully fooled of !!" She clapped her hands and sat down in the corner.
" Yes I am a fool… Biggest fool !! But why should I sacrifice my life for the sake of world ? I am not any saint, or hero to sacrifice myself for these selfish humans. I just want to live a peaceful life and this diamond core… find some other way to take it off my body… I will not let anyone of you to kill me !!"
I ran out of the temple Astrea followed me… "Arin !!! ARIN!!!!! I will find some other way Arin !!! Just don't get swayed by that Adrestia again !!" She yelled behind me but I had reached far away till then…
