'Where am I?'

'What is this place?'

Joe struggled to open his eyes. But it was as though his eyes were glued shut. He couldn't even move them.

'Am I dead? Is this how death feels like? But why is it so warm? It feels like home.'

'Is that a heartbeat? It's my heartbeat! Thank god I didn't die. Wait, why are there two heartbeats?'

While he was thinking all this he tried to feel his surroundings through his other senses. He felt as though he was floating in some liquid. He tried to struggle, but it didn't make any difference. He tried kicking.

Then he felt like he heard someone laughing. It felt nice to hear that voice. Even though it took all his might to kick two times, he kicked a few more times just to hear it again.

After hearing some more chuckles he felt satisfied and since he was too tired, he fell asleep.

From that day on, he was sleeping most of the time and was awake just for some time. He couldn't tell the time or day in this place.

But from the clues he got from his relentless searching, he finally had the feeling that he was in a womb! Although he tried to deny it, all the clues pointed towards the same result.

'Did I get sent into an unborn child? How did this happen? Is it the reincarnation I read in the novels on Earth?'

Although he tried to calm down, he couldn't resist falling into in daze, mumbling random things to himself. After some time he finally managed to pull himself together. Then he thought about the cause and effect of the current situation.

'This is definitely the work of that grey medallion and the weird portal I accidentally stepped into! Although I am happy to get a family for myself now, it could have at least given me a reminder. Even a notification on my mobile would have been nice'

Though, he knew he was being ridiculous. He just couldn't resist making such comments. Although he didn't know where the medallion had gone to, he had a feeling it was still in his body.

Days passed like this. Since he didn't have anything to do except to stay floating and occasionally kicking his mother's womb, he tried to listen to the words of the people outside. Although he didn't know which language they were talking in, he somehow was able to understand it. Even though this phenomenon confused him, he firmly pushed the responsibility of such a situation onto the mysterious medallion.

Gradually, he came to know that this world is not Earth. He was sent to a world called Mythical Beast Continent where humans are not the only race. Humans and many other species can get stronger by absorbing energies of different types from their surroundings. There exist beings who can move mountains and seas with a flip of a hand. This discovery made him very excited. He wanted to become as strong as them or even stronger.

The clan he was born into is one of the Four Top Clans of White Lotus town, the Great Bear clan. His father was the clan lord and the strongest person in the entire clan.

One day as he was following his daily routine, he suddenly felt his surroundings trembling. He had an intense feeling that the time to be born is fast approaching. Apparently, his parents also had the same feeling as the outside became rowdy. But that was all they did. They were too weak to sense anything different than usual.

But they didn't know that whenever there was a tremor in the womb, the whole continent's energies also got agitated. This phenomenon instantly attracted many peak powers in the continent. Many people tried to divine the cause of this change but most of them failed and were severely injured in the end. This incident caused many major figures to go into seclusion and not to be seen outside for a long time.

Only the Divine Sage managed to get a glimpse of a baby about to be born. After which, a violent backlash sent him into qi deviation. Before he went into seclusion to heal himself, he prophesized that the person who can join the four parts of the continent into one was going to be born. It immediately threw the top brass into chaos.

The tremors came increasingly frequently in the next few days. And finally, on the ninth day, he was finally born. The instant he was born, even time stopped flowing for a short period of time. It was as though all the energies in the world, even time and space were welcoming his presence into the world.

After he came outside Joe suddenly felt his lungs burning which made him involuntarily cry. He felt embarrassed since he had the mind of a 25-year-old even though he was just a child at the moment. He felt himself being carried by many people one by one and finally was settled with a person. Even without opening his eyes, he knew it was his mother. It made him calm down a little.

"Congratulations, clan lord! It is a very healthy boy. And his qi passageways are quite wide. He has a very good latent talent for cultivation."

"Haha! This is a joyous occasion. Men! Prepare a banquet for the whole city tomorrow. Invite everyone in the city! I'll send invitations to the three clans myself!"
