<A/N: I know, I know. I haven't been updating this fanfic for quite a while now. Been about 1 month or so but whatever. I was kinda focused on my other fanfic that I forgot about this. But from now on forward, I would try to balance between the two of it.>
___________
<MC POV>
I was walking toward the dining room where I was supposed to go. I might not know the way but having Xiao Che's memories helps. Talking about memories, I have yet to access Yun Che's memories. You know what scratch that. I still don't if I have Sky Poison Pearl activated or not. Either I don't have that activated or I don't know how to access/use that. Anyway, That's a work for later. While I was waking towards the dining room, I have noticed 3 things.
1. This mansion is FUCKING huge! God damn! It is taking me 5 minutes to get to the dining hall.
2. Walking with a ponytail is fucking disturbing. I don't like ponytails. I don't why guys in cultivation worlds always has a ponytail or long hair. I am cutting it down short whenever I am getting time.
3. Some of people I walked passed through seems had disgust flashing in their expression for a second as if I am a problem to keep around. I am sure that they are acting like this because I can't cultivate.
At least that's what they know. Not planning to tell them anything anytime soon. I have plans and priorities straight. Only I and Orion will know about my complete plans. Even Xiao Lie and Xiao Lingxi would get to know only a part of it. And obviously, I plan to feed them a lot of lies as I am pretty sure that they wouldn't believe a spectrum of anything I say if I tell them that I got my veins and profound arts transmigrated into my mind by THE GOD. And mainly I can't say that I plan to have a big or massive harem. I have internally monologuing for so long that I reached the dining hall.
Entering the dining hall, I saw Xiao Lie sitting at the head of table and Xiao Lingxi sitting on the chair left to him. Xiao Lie had just an appearance of common looking old man in 80s or 90s. Even though he wasn't that old yet. He was just 55 year old. Its just all of the stress after losing his wife and son has caught up to him.
I then took a good quick look at Xiao Lingxi or 'Little Aunt'. She definitely had started cultivating because she was now no longer the ugly duckling. Honestly speaking, I was not ready for the beauty that was Xiao Lingxi. I had seen her in Xiao Che's memories but seeing with her very own eyes is something very different.
At a glance the girl dressed in green looked to be 9 or 10 years of age. She was as fair as snow with charming rosy lips and a delicate nose. A touching look of deep surprise was expressed by eyes as clear and transparent as a pool of translucent spring water. Her face exuded a dazzling gentleness and softness. At this young age, she already exhibited such charm, who can possibly imagine what sort of beauty she would be in the future. (Copied)
I now understand why Xiao Ying and Xiao Kuanglei was so after her. And there's fact that she is yet to become more beautiful. There was more beautiful girls then her in Against The Gods and here I am getting blown away by her. I need get some beauty immunity real quick. Enough Beauty Immunity so I don't get blown away whenever I see a beautiful girl.
Thankfully, I was only distracted only for two seconds outside. I hurriedly greeted them with my two finger salute. "Yo!" I froze up as I remembered that I am now Xiao Che and Xiao Che definitely doesn't greets people like this. I saw Xiao Lie and Xiao Lingxi looking at me in wonder as I silently cursed myself.
To fix my mistake, I properly greeted them this time around just like Yun Che. "Good Morning, Grandfather and Little Aunt. Please do pardon me, I still feel quite sleepy." Xiao Lie just laughed at that while Little Aunt smiled at me. "Don't worry, Che'er. Sit down and have breakfast with us." Little Aunt just nodded alongside him.
I nodded with a smile. And had a nice breakfast. I had some rice porridge, some dim sums and a cup of morning tea. Great and relaxing breakfast. I still have to get used to this chinese cuisine as I am pretty sure that unless I cook it myself, I am having chinese cuisine everyday.
Off to the main problem with mine, I called out to Grandfather, Still kinda just getting used to call him that. "Grandfather, I need to talk to you about something alone. Preferably with Little Aunt also." He just raised a eyebrow but ultimately shrugged. "Sure, Che'er and Xi'er. Follow me." Saying so he started walking towards his room. I look at Little Aunt who nodded at me with a smile. We followed him to his room.
Once he reached there, He sat down on the bed comfortably. He motioned us to sit down. Little Aunt took the single seated couch in his room. I took the chair from what it seemed his study table. He looked at me with a grandfather-ish smile that made feel good. Afterall, I didn't had any parents or parental figure in my life. He asked me with the same smile radiating from his face. "Che'er, What did you wanted to tell me?" Little Aunt also looked at me with a kind smile. Curiosity shining subtly in her transparent like eyes.
I was getting caught up in these emotions. I just had the plan to woo Lingxi and keep somewhat good relation with Xiao Lie. But now that, he looks at me with care and kindness... It feels good. I knew that this was for Xiao Che. But now I am Xiao Che. He died and I embraced his identity. So, I will still woo Lingxi. But I am not letting my paternal figure go away. He is my grandfather, whether he likes it or not.
I heaved out a big breath that I didn't knew was there. "I want you to check my profound veins." Hearing me, Both Little Aunt and Grandfather looked at me with saddened eyes. "Che'er, I know that you wanted to cultivate like every cultivator. But you know that because of your birth defect, Your profound veins were damaged. And due to our carelessness, It got damaged to the point of no repair. I am sorry, My child."
I shook my head as I walked towards him. "Grandfather, I was not talking about that. I have to tell you something but for that you have to check my profound veins." Grandfather still looked kind of uncertain but after seeing my smile and nod, He unsurely took my hands in his hands. He closed his eyes. I felt some profound energy wash over me.
Grandfather's eyes snapped opened, he had his mouth shaped in to a 'O'. He freed my arms as he pointed an accusing finger at me. "Y-you!!" He took my hands into his hands as he started counting. "1,2,3,4,5.....9....17.....31.....47...54 profound entrances! You have Heavenly God's Spiritual Veins!!"
I almost smirked. ALMOST.
