(CHAPTER 18: DEMON'S HELPER)

I place her down, making sure the blanket sheet didn't fell off. "Selina, a little help here?" I shouted, and sure enough, Selina enter the tree house we built, alongside with Aiko. "Who is this girl?" Aiko asked. " A friend from work." I didn't want more additional details. "Why is she naked?" Selina asked again, the only question I hope they wouldn't ask "She needed treatment, she is injured. Questions later alright?" I try to make my way out of problems.

"Alright. Get out then." Aiko pushed me out of the room, her tone is filled with hint of anger, I am so fucking screwed. She slam the door behind me, leaving me alone, staring at the night sky. Is it really a wise choice to bring her back? I rub my hair in frustration.

"I saw your fight."

"Who's that." I turn around in alert. Does they really track me down to here? "Who's there!" I shouted. "Hey chill…" A man walk out from behind a tree. He was somewhere at his thirties, with slight, shallow wrinkles all over his face alongside a golden silver hair. His eyes were golden too, with that half drunk expression on his face. He is wearing a cloak, just like a half breed. With one hand he is leaning against the tree beside him for balance. While with another he was holding a bottle of whiskey.

"Who are you?" I lifted up my fist and get in my battle stance, alerted. "Hey chill. I am here for a message." He waved his hand, telling me to calm myself down. "Message?" I raised my eyebrow. "What message." "I wanted you to follow me to the capital of the Moon. The devil king needed you." The moment he spoke those words, I instantly deny it. "No."

"I am an easy man. I wouldn't force you if you wanted to stay at here." He spoke, taking another huge gulp of whiskey. "But soon you will see this disgusting world in it's face." "I needed to send them to safety first, I can't" I denied once again. "Well, I can't change your mind. So…" He fumbled his pockets for a while before finally taking out something. "Here." He tossed me the item, I caught it midair.

"In case you are in real trouble you can press it. I will be there instantly. It is a one timer, so be wise" He let out a chuckle. I stare at the item, it was a round smooth rock, with a ruby emblemed in the middle of it. "Who are, you…" I asked, but the man was gone. Disappeared, vanished, like all that conversation was just a mere illusion.

Before I could think more, the door behind me burst open. "Move." Selina shove me aside with some empty potion bottles in her hand and headed to the river. "Hey!" I shouted, but Aiko bump into me once more. "I thought you are different, but you are just like any other man." Her eye is filled with despise. "Wha-" She turn her back towards me and followed Selina to the stream.

"What did you tell them!?" I screamed at Raven, who is poking her head out and giggling seeing my reaction.

"Haha, hahaha…."

"You got me real screwed up!"

"I know, haha…"

One small hut, four people, three girl, one boy.

Why the fuck is there a downpour right now?

"Ah…" I face towards the wooden makeshift wall of the treehouse as a soft groan drilled into my ears. Shit, how old am I at this world. Thirteen? Fourteen? Well that's the age when kids are horny as fuck. "Nnh…" Another groan, I could feel something popping, maybe it was just my vein from this torturing.

"Don't turn your head back! We are still not done yet!" I could hear Aiko screaming, followed by another fucking moan goddamit please stop.

"Alright! Quickly!" I scream break. My voice is kind of shaken, the feeling is torture. It was like having a pile of treasure steps in front of you and yet unable to approach it. The glittering gold, emeralds the size of palm, jewel of all kinds, and yet you could just stand and stare.

"Alright, done!" Finally, no more stress. I turn my head back, and see Raven laying on the mattress while Selina is bandaging the wound on her wing. Aiko was covering her body with the blanket, I squeeze out a smile for her, she rolled her eyes.

"The wound is quite deep, but this should be okay." Selina snip off the rest of the bandage with a dagger, before patting the wing, signaling that she is good to go. "Thanks I felt better." Raven moved the wings a bit, no more pain, it is not stiff anymore. "So now, answers." Aiko cut in, staring right at Raven with those rape eyes. "Stop bothering her, she need rest." I immediately stop her, grabbing her by the elbow.

"No!" Aiko shouted. "How could you spend a night with that girl! Naked!" "I didn't even mean to! And we did nothing!!" I scream back, getting maybe a little fierce but in my defense, that is some sensitive shit we are talking about. Aiko seem shocked by me shouting back at her, practically, she is almost two year old older than me. I turn my head away, staring at the rain. She turn her head around too, covering her mouth with her hand. Selina immediately come to confront her, while Raven seem awkward, I cant blame her in that position.

Argh, this is escalating out of hand real quick.
