(CHAPTER 17: FALLEN ANGEL)

Raven cuddled at the edge of the bed, leaning against the wooden pillar.

Did she, is really that disgusting?

Who people kept leaving her.

Her father, mother, brother and now Rey.

All she wanted is to help…

"Look at you!!" A man chocked her, slamming her against the wall. "Look at what you've done! They die because of you!! You!!!" He roared right in her face. She struggled, the small wings on her back flapped, trying to escape the demon's grasp. "It's n-ot m-me!" She squeezed those words out.

"Not you!" He let go, she fell to the floor with a thud. "Father and mother died because of a bird flu. You are the bringer! You are the one who killed them!!" He screeched, tears rolled down his eye, grabbing her by the collar and shaked.

"You demon!! You monster!!" He toss her against the wall, before started to hit her. Kicking her, punching her, slamming her head continuously against the wall. She didn't scream, whimper, cry or struggle. Letting all the beating rain on her. It was after half an hour before he finally stop his rampage. His knuckles bleeding, while she cuddled up in a ball, like an injured kitty. The wings behind her was also destroyed, with feather ripped out of it, blood oozing out from the wound. Her body felt like it was burning, she felt like on a roasted pit. The stinging pain filled her up completely.

"You, you will never be my sister. Ever." He whispered those words under his breath, before packing up all his things and left. Leaving her all alone, in this world.

"Why…" She mumbled under her breath, her voice seem choked. "Why…" She repeated, a question she will never get the answer.

"There you are you little bitch!" The door was bashed open, disrupting her deep though of the past. Three men entered the room and surrounded him. She immediately cover her body with the blanket while the man in the lead approached. "So you are a girl huh?" He stare at her gleefully, with an arousing face. "How about this, provide us service. And we will forget all the thing you does. Letting our five billion flying out the window, deal?" He grab her by the head and threatened, closing his face right towards her.

"No!!" She struggled, spread open the wings and tried to escape, but one of them is injured, as it causes her to stumble and fell to the ground once more. "Look at you!" The rest laughed seeing her funny act. "You think you are strong huh? Without your drugs, without your wings. You are just a garbage." The man chuckled. "Dive in boys." The three started to take off their coat, while she closed her eyes.

I lean against the door frame, acting cool but still gasping for air. Darn those stair, why didn't they made a fucking elevator or something. "I won't let you guys get the girl. She took my virginity, she is mine." That's the best excuse I could come out with. "Oh, you are that five billion huh?" The man take one look at me and was instantly distracted. "Oh, and you are the sheep that escape from the barn huh?" I say sarcastically, staring at the half sheep half breeds. "What's your name, billy the goat?"

"Get that shit hole!!" His face grew red, and ordered the two men. The men ram their horns towards me, ironic. I grab one on the horn and slam it towards another, before tossing the two towards the wall with a huge slam. "Ironic." I let out a chuckle. I indeed felt better, looks like she did tend my wound and venom before then. "Now what you want. One against one?" I raised my fist. "Come on then."

"You, you shit!" he let out a cursed before leaving, that is the best he could do. "What a clown." I stare at the three running down the hallway clumsily, almost trampling above one another on the stairs. But what I knew is that I am in big trouble, and so do Raven. "You wanted to follow? We don't have much time." I asked. She shook her head, but one look at the bandaged wing is enough to confirm she needed my help. "Such a reticent." I let out a sigh and approach towards her.

"Wh-what, stop!" I place my arm around her shoulder before lowering my body and bending her knees. With slight force I manage to carry her up, light fella indeed. "Put your hand around my neck." I ordered, taking a quick glimpse through the window, and sure as hell indeed, men are starting to flood in. "Huh!?" "Just do it! I wouldn't care if you fell from a hundred feet height." I explained, and she did what I ordered. I let out a deep breath before dashing out through the window, onto the roof of the building in front of me. I could fell her head leaning against my chest as I leap from building to building, making my way back home.

Oh, damn, more girls I guess.
