Chapter 1. Part 4

There was no one near that area, as everyone was spread around everywhere throughout the park. The park had transportations across it, as walking through all of it would be impossible for a normal person. Then, the boy saw a cat sitting on the bench, resting peacefully, while still keeping on guard like it was trying to protect something. The boy slightly teared up upon seeing the cat, but held it in, though not very successful. The boy walked up to the cat and said, "Mimi," and attempted to pet it, only to get hissed and scratched. This made the boy's mental state more fragile, however, it didn't truly affect him at the moment as his mind was messed up to the point where he was nulled of most emotions and pain. He could probably get each of his limbs cut off one by one, and not feel any pain at this point. The boy tried to stop his tears by singing his last tune, however, it didn't help. With his tears not stopping and his voice trembling the tune, he didn't look back and decided to walk away. However, upon hearing the tune, the cat's expression changed, and the cat seemed to have relaxed and then meowed once at the boy. The boy looked back and then saw that the cat wasn't as tensed up anymore. The boy felt some joy for the first time in a while and gasped as he smiled. Then the boy got closer to the cat, and this time the cat let him touch her. The boy petted the cat, but then started to cry, rubbing his face on the cat's fur, out of joy or out of sadness, I don't know. The cat looked a bit concerned by the boy's actions but stayed there for the boy's sake. After a while, the boy stopped crying, and then said, "You're the only person who really cares about me, Mimi…" The cat, clueless about what the boy is saying at all, gets moderately confused, and then leaves the place as the boy gets knocked unconscious again. However, as the boy became unconscious, the darkness engulfed the kingdom once again, with everything seeming to have simply stopped, swallowed by the madness again. Though the boy didn't feel like he was going to shatter into pieces or anything this time, the same voice from the earlier day appeared and then simply informed the boy, "Your wish shall be granted tomorrow. There is no taking back, nor are there any second wishes. This is absolute. Conveniently, your wish was my ambition." The boy wanted to talk, however, he couldn't, as everything was simply beyond gone at the moment. More than that it was gone, it was as if it never existed, it felt as if it was outside of the concept of existing and not existing, maybe uncountably beyond it. The boy felt himself sinking, deeper and deeper, to what he couldn't imagine what it was, as even his imagination was drowned outside. His thought and memories all drowned together, and he couldn't even remember what he wished for, or if he even had wished, as the wish was completely subconscious, or was just there without anything really. He then fell directionless, never ceasing to fall, as his existence as being him endlessly drowned further outside, until he hit an ending point, in which he felt himself shatter like glass again. It felt like something clicked within him the moment he felt himself shatter like glass, then he felt like he was finally able to see something, and felt as if he was about to open his eyes. Then the moment he opened his eyes, he was back in the real world. He was sweating and was grasping for air when he woke up, trying to grab the air out in the open as if he was drowning. However, he realized that he was perfectly fine, and fortunately there was no one around him to see him acting odd, as people would've severely questioned him, or would've taken him to the mental hospital.
