4. Ice Wolf Pack Leader

Rise grabbed a cloak that Polly made and went over to the graveyard. He wondered, since they had weapons and that sort, could he give them armor? Turns out, yes. An additional stat appeared.

[Ice Skeleton Graveyard.

Potential: Unlimited.

Tier: White-Bronze-Intermediate Common

Summons: 10/d.

Current Weapon: Glacial Spikes.

Current Armor: Ice Wolf Fur Cloak.

From the graveyard, ice skeletons can be summoned from their eternal rest. These skeletons are ruthless, fearless, relentless. They will sacrifice themselves if need be.

Remark: A trashy reward from an ancient being of cold.]

A very nice addition to his collection. The cloak did however disappear, it was fine. Suddenly the remaining three ice skeletons had the same fur cloak Rise had. The pelt of the ice wolf did give them slight protection. The original five frost vampires woke up and talked with the new ones. Rise felt a sudden bloodlust right now, it was the same sort of feeling when... a young boy is cornered by several older drunk woman with a sadistic look in their eyes. The boy cried for help, but that day- ahem, we'll explore that... memory one day. Rise shook his head and forgot about that little incident. Right now he decided to go hunting. He grabbed Blue and went on a hunt. Blue noticed the soul flame and his loyalty shot up to 73.

The group of five went out. They hunted three ice wolves, but a menacing roar was heard. An ice wolf twice the size of the others appeared. It was the pack leader. Rise felt a rising (pun intended) feeling, one of a murderer. Blue wanted to run but stayed when he saw Rise raise his weapon. So did he. They dropped the corpses they collected and prepared for battle. It was a three against five, mostly because the skeletons wiped out most of the pack. This was a personal battle for the wolves.

The chief ran forward as Rise could finally use his new skill. As the chief ran into Rise's range of attack, a skull appeared and brought its teeth down onto the chief's front right leg. Injured the chief kept running. Rise engaged into close combat. meanwhile, Blue and the three skeletons were combating the other two ice wolves. A two on one situation. Blue finished off his combatant as he and the other skeleton went to help. Both wolves died.

But Rise's battle was going strong. Several clashes had been made as the two kept going. The chief brought its own pair of teeth down to Rise's chest, but the ice wolf skull protected him. Rise crouched down and avoided a swipe of the chief's left leg which destroyed the skull. Rise whilst crouched brought his fang spear up into the chief's head. Somehow it was going strong still. The chief's back legs pierced into Rise, the claws got to his lungs forcing him to spit out blood. Yet, despite having a pierced lung Rise tightened his grip around the spear and sliced the chief's head into a sort of Demogorgon crap.

Winner? Rising Snow Cloud Dawn.

Finishing hit? Sliced Head.

Loser? Ice Wolf Pack Leader.

Current State of the Winner? Heavily Injured.

Current State of the Loser? Dead.

As Rise collapsed he felt overwhelming drowsiness. A textbox appeared, cool, Blue's loyalty was raised to 81. That was something- black, pitch black.

Rise opened his eyes and saw himself in a black void, countless windows could be seen. Each one peered into a different memory. Each one was depressing and miserable. They showcased the evil Rising saw in his life. For each one, there was a bad memory. That time where he was sold a slave, yet escaped and went back 'home.' That time he confronted a school shooter, fought them off, yet a different classmate took the credit even telling people Rise was a coward. Did I forget to mention that time where he was sent to a gang? So many bleak memories for such a young boy, he's seen more than the average adult even.

However, a person materializes behind him. Not exactly a 'person' in a sense, but more like a forced. Rise knew exactly what it was. "Ice Undead King."

The forced smile figuratively. With an ancient and raspy voice, the king said. "Bingo."

"Did I die already?" Rise questioned.

"Thou are not exactly in a 'questioning' position but I'll answer." The king whispered in his ear.

"Thou are not, miraculously." The king shouted from afar.

"Despite a large claw in thy lung, thy instincts forced thee to survive. Thy will is so strong that I couldn't even collect thy soul flame." The king laughed maniacally from below.

"The fact that thou didn't die amazes even I. As a reward for giving me such an exciting time, I'll send thee a little something when you wake." The king told him from above.

"Bring me more souls, O apostle mine." The king said inside him.

Rise's eyes shot open as he got up quickly. His head felt a little funky as he did that, when he looked around he saw a concerned Blue and a still working yet little worried Polly. When he woke up Blue looked at him with happiness.

"My Lord! You're awake!" Blue sighed in relief.

"How long has passed?" Rise asked.

"Seven hours, we estimated you'd wake up tomorrow." Replied the spear vampire.

"What happened while I was gone?" Asked the young Lord.

Blue thought about it. "Polly's made enough cloaks for everyone... we built some tents... not much honestly- oh wait! The corpse of the pack leader is still waiting for you to loot."

Then the boy remembered, he had killed the leader. Rise asked to be shown the body, soon the last two skeletons came in with the corpse and threw it beside Rise's bed. Rise touched the corpse as more durable fur, better meat, an upgraded version of the fanged spear, an upgraded version of the ice wolf chief skull, its entire skeleton structure, and a lot of kilograms of compact ice, or otherwise known as reinforced ice. This was going to be fun, somewhat.
