Chapter 24: Plot twist.

Hiroya speechlessly looked at his mother before pointing at himself and saying:" I'm adopted?"

Mother Hiroya nodded with a solemn look on her face.

"It happened when Riruru was born...."

Hiroya carefully listened to the entire story of how he became a part of this household.

Well, it went like this...

Hiroya's birth was the result of a mistake committed by two teenagers in their youth, being too young to carry a newborn's responsibility, the two teenage parents quickly gave him up for adoption.

On the day of Hiroya's delivery, his now-adopted mother and his adopted father who was alive at the time were visiting the hospital with Riruru who was just born a few months prior.

It seems his adopted father coincidently heard the talk between the doctor and Hiroya's actual father and after seeing the just-born Hiroya's face his adopted father instantly felt a connection with him.

There was a reason for the sudden feeling.

The original Hiroya family had three children: Rriina, Rio, and Riruru.

All of them were women.

Of course, their gender didn't stop Hiroya's adopted father from loving them, but at the core, there was always a feeling of emptiness he couldn't quite describe.

That is why after hurriedly discussing with his wife, Hiroya's adopted father quickly went to the doctor and talked with his actual parents.

And after some convincing, Hiroya's teenage parents agreed to let them adopt him.

That was the gist of the situation.

After she was done speaking, Hiroya's mother carefully looked at her son.

Originally she didn't have any plan to share this secret with Hiorya, but after seeing his rapid growth, She felt a bit overwhelmed.

She didn't want Hiroya to learn this thing due to some unexpected circumstance.

"Are my sisters aware?...."

"Only Ririna knows..."

Coming beside Hiroya, She raised her arms and hugged him lightly and said: "No matter what you're always my son....".

Hiroya heard her words and silently hugged her back, not saying a word.

But his silence only seemed to make Mother Hiroya sigh, thinking it was too much for him to take in.

But in fact, it wasn't.

Even after hearing the story of his birth and adoption, Hiroya didn't feel anything.

After all, he wasn't the original Hiroya to begin with, and to be honest the only person he acknowledges as his real mother in his heart was without a doubt the one from his Earth.

After Mother Hiroya went to her room, he sat down on the sofa in the empty hall and fell into a trance.

He wasn't feeling confused, betrayed, or anything like that, the reason he was silent however was because their sudden talk made him remember his mother from his earth.

'It would have been nice.....it I could have talked to my mother one last time....'

For the first time after crossing over to this world, a sad smile appeared on Hiroya's face.

It wasn't something he could control, family relations were complicated to explain in the first place.

But while Hiroya was gathering his thoughts, he failed to notice that a head wa peeking out from the wall connected to the stairs.

And the owner of the head was none other than Rio who ended up hearing the entire talk between Hiroya and her mother.

'Hiro is not my real brother....'

Rio's eyes trembled as she grabbed her chest to suppress the pain she was feeling.

'Hiro....he looks so sad....'

Seeing her brother's lonely expression only seemed to make her feel worse, She wanted to do something, She wanted to rush up to Hiroya and hug him and tell him that he wasn't alone, tell him that regardless of whether he was adopted or not, he would always be her brother.

But she couldn't help but hesitate.

She was afraid that Hiroya would feel even worse after seeing that she secretly listened to their entire conversation.

'No, I must do something!'

Making up her mind, Rio gave Hiroya one last look before quietly going upstairs to Ririna's room.

After having some alone time with himself, Hiroya felt a lot better, getting up from the sofa he locked the main door, turned off all the lights in the living room, and went up the stairs.

Coming upstairs, he looked at sister Ririna's room but after thinking that it was a little late, he turned toward his room and opened the door.

But as soon as he did.

"Hiro!"

"Brother!"

Two familiar faces suddenly greeted him making Hiroya look at them in confusion.

Seeing his confused look Ririna and Rio looked at each other then smiled and turned towards Hiroya.

Extending their hands towards him they said in unison.

"Let's sleep together!"

With a blank look on his face, Hiroya stared at his two sisters.

Then he closed the door.

"W-wait!"

But then Rio suddenly opened the door and ran up to him.

"Why did you close the door on us!"

Not giving him a chance to reply she suddenly grabbed his arm and pulled him inside the room.

Or at least she tried.

After all, it would be a joke if she could actually pull Hiroya with her strength.

Seeing Rio's face turn red in embarrassment as she tried to pull him, Hiroya shook his head and let her do as she wished.

After Hiroya was inside, Rio quickly closed the door and started pushing him from the back towards the bed.

After sitting down on his bed, Hiroya turned towards Rio sitting on his left, and asked.

"Alright, can you tell me what this is about?"

"What do you mean? It's a simple sibling get-together!"

Hiroya ignored Rio and looked at Ririna on his right.

As soon as their gaze met, Ririna turned her face and looked away.

"Alright let's sleep!"

Hiroya sighed, turned back to Rio, and said.

"It's a single bed, how are three people going to fit on a single bed?"

"There's plenty of space...", Rio climbed on the bed and positioned her back against the wall, lying on her side and looking at Hiroya with her big eyes.

"See we can all fit like this....."

"Are you okay with this?", Hiroya ignored Rio and stared at Ririna.

Hearing his question, a red hume appeared on Ririna's face as she nodded and said in a small voice: " Yes...."

"Fine."

Since they didn't have a problem then why would Hiroya?

Getting up from the bed, Hiroya turned off the light and stood before his bed.

"Sister Ririna can go in the middle I'll take the side--------"

"No! Hiroya should sleep in the middle!", Rio suddenly protested and patted the bed in front of her while staring at him.

"She could end up falling....."

"It's alright.", Ririna said as she stood up and made way for him.

Giving sister Ririna a complex look, Hiroya got up on his bed with his back towards Rio making her protest.

"Wait turn to this site----"

"Shut up."

"Hmph.", Rio pouted and pinched his back in retaliation, then placed her arm around his waist and hugged him.

Hiroya ignored her and made space for Ririna to sleep.

With careful movement, Ririna got on the bed with her back against Hiroya.

But as soon as she did, She noticed a problem.

Due to the limited space available, her hips were in direct contact with Hiroya's private region.

The sudden realization turned her face beat red, with quick movement she turned around and faced Hiroya directly, seeing his face in close proximity she involuntarily took a step back since there was no extra space to begin with, and her body ended up falling, but then Hiroya suddenly grabbed her arm using his hand and pulled her back.

"This isn't going to work out, there isn't enough space.", Shaking his head Hiroya tried to get up from the bed.

"Wait."

Suddenly Ririna grabbed his shirt and stopped him midway, then before he could say anything she turned back to her original position with her back against his front.

"There's enough space now.....", Ririna said in a small voice.

Hiroya narrowed his eyes and saw her ears turn red, then he lay back down again.

Sensing Hiroya's front against her back, Ririna felt her body become hot, after a moment of hesitation she pushed back towards Hiroya pasting her back right against his front.

With his strong chest as a support, her head was placed under his chin, She looked up and saw saw Hiroya looking down at her.

"Hand...", Ririna said in a small voice as she avoided his gaze.

Grabbing his left arm she placed it under her head as a pillow.

Then calming down her rapidly beating heart, Ririna closed her eyes and tried to sleep.

But then suddenly a strong arm wrapped around her waist making her open her eyes and look up for answers.

"It will prevent you from falling...."

Understanding his motive, Ririna nodded, but still feeling the presence around her waist made her blush unconditionally.

'It feels warm and nice...'

It was like a piece of armor, the way Hiroya was covering her made her feel a great sense of security.

This sensation made her involuntarily relax her body and suddenly fell into sleep.

On the other side, Rio has also fallen asleep with her chest pressed right against Hiroya's back and her leg riding on top of him.

It seemed both of them had fallen asleep, only Hiroya was wide awake.

'God is testing me...this is God's test ...'

He kept muttering the almighty's name in his mind to help control the evil thoughts coming from deep inside him.

It took a great deal of strength not to take advantage of the situation.
