The Hard Drive

Scene: The interrogation room. Glitch remains silent, meeting Agent 47's gaze.

Agent 47: So, Glitch, what did you find in that safe house?

Glitch takes a moment, his mind racing as he considers his response.

Glitch: A hard drive. I found a hard drive in the safe house.

Flashback begins

the year 2023

Glitch is seen in his car, racing against time to reach the safe house. The tension is palpable as he knows that the fate of the Black Watch and potentially the world rests upon what he will uncover.

Glitch: (voiceover) The hard drive... it held the answers. If there was any hope to unravel the extent of Agent 47's betrayal and the conspiracy that now entangled us, it would be in that small, seemingly inconspicuous device.

Glitch arrives at the safe house, his heart pounding with a mix of anticipation and trepidation. He carefully retrieves the hard drive and inserts it into a secure laptop.

Glitch: (voiceover) This is it. The truth is just a click away.

As the laptop boots up, Glitch's excitement is quickly replaced by a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach. The hard drive is empty.

Glitch: (thoughts) How could this be? Was it all for nothing?

In the depths of his frustration, Glitch's thoughts wander, questioning the true intentions of Agent 47 and the gravity of the situation.

Glitch: (thoughts) What does Agent 47 gain from all of this? Is there a greater plan at play?

Suddenly, Glitch's thoughts are interrupted by the urgent call from headquarters.

HQ: (over comms) Glitch, we need you at headquarters immediately. We're in chaos here, trying to contain the fallout caused by Agent 47's betrayal. We need your expertise to help salvage what's left.

Glitch's sense of duty resurfaces, overriding his disappointment and confusion. He knows that his loyalty lies with the Black Watch.

Glitch: Understood. I'm on my way.

The flashback ends

back to the present, inside the interrogation room.

Agent 47: (smirking) So, Glitch, what's the matter? You just gave up on that drive?

Glitch: (firmly) What do you think?

Glitch's response is met with a knowing smirk from Agent 47, a calculated move to unnerve him. The air in the room thickens with tension as their eyes lock in a battle of wills.
