I helped Luca up, avoiding West who just stood there staring at us like some damned statue. Some people had gathered to watch, but the show was already over by the time they showed up.

The nurse wasn't around, but I knew my way around a first aid kit. I used to get hurt while dancing some years back, so I'd apply first aid to myself.

Luca had a tear on his lower lip, and some evident bruises all over his face. This was the limit, hurting me was fine, but lashing out on Luca was an asshole move.

"Say when if it stings okay." I softly said to him, about to dress his wounds. He nodded, swinging his feet from the bed.

While I did this, my mind kept on going back to the scene earlier, West didn't even have the decency to offer to help get him here. He just stood there watching us, fuelling my anger towards him.

"D?." Luca called out.

"Hmmmm..."
