Nancy's Game

Amanda opened the fridge and grabbed a bottle beer and closed it back. She uncorked the beer and took a sip.

“You wanna…?” she left the other words to hang in the air.

“Yeah” Jane replied. Nancy was leaning on the door, staring at them. Amanda opened the fridge again and took out another bottle for Jane. She handed it over to Jane after opening it.

“Vodka?” Jane asked after taking a sip.

“I don’t know” Amanda replied.

“Is this a vodka?” Jane looked at Nancy where she was standing and asked.

“Caffeine” Nancy replied.

“Not tasting like one” Jane replied and took a pour this time.

“You don’t know what you are drinking? You should stop, you’re too young to drink” Deb who was frying some eggs said.

“I’m 20” Jane said.

“Shit, you’re a kid” Deb replied and Amanda scoffed. Jane looked at Amanda.

“What?” Amanda shrugged.

“Whatever” Jane replied and continued with her drink.
