Chapter 109

  Dylan

  Early next morning.

I jerked up on my bed in panic when my hand felt a empty space beside me.

  Cherry was gone!

So was our bond! I couldn't feel it again!!

Fear and rage rose inside me as my eyes swept across the room.

Until a note on the bedside table attracted my attention. On top of it was a cup of milk in my favorite cup.

“It wasn't a dream, Dylan. Our mate was here with us last night.” My wolf confirmed my guess.

Feeling a weight off my mind, I sat back on the bed and began to read the note.

It was left by my mate indeed.

“Good morning, love. I had a good time last night. But I had to leave before the sun rises. Enjoy the milk and have a nice day. PS: it could go cold if you lie. Love, your one true mate.”

I found myself giggling as I sipped on the milk.

“It's not a dream. You were here,” I told myself when the fragrance of milk burst in my mouth.
