Not long after, two nurses came to check on Cassia. Liliana anxiously waited by the sideline, watching how her mother was examined. She noticed that Albert had gone but, she didn't have time to contact her uncle yet.
"Excuse me, is Dr. Fang still on duty?" asked Liliana before the nurses left.
One of them replied with a smile, "Dr. Fang is currently attending to another patient. He'll be available in soon."
"Thank you. I plan to meet him," Liliana smiled in relief. She wished to hear more about her mother's condition from the doctor himself.
Liliana returned by Cassia's side. Sitting on the edge of the bed, she asked, "Are you hungry, Mom? Have you eaten?"
Liliana was informed that Cassia could only have liquid meals such as porridge and soups. Albert told her earlier that her mother got some breakfast before she continued napping. At that time, Liliana was still on the flight.
"Not hungry... You... aren't tired?"
