Carlos was devastated and nothing Damon said comforted him. As if that wasn't enough, Damon received a call from home that a multitude of students was here to visit him.
Damon drove back home clenching and unclenching his teeth. It wasn't enough that he had to deal with Carlos' shit, break the news of the pregnancy to his girlfriend, now he had to deal with these annoying people. He was mentally stressed and angry. Damon didn't want any of these dramas right now.
He didn't even pack properly in the garage and stepped out of the car, making a beeline for the house. He hardly stepped into the foyer when his jaw dropped to the ground.

Damon was rooted to the ground as he witnessed swarms of students sitting and lounging wherever they found space to sit - some even lay on the wooden floor. For once, Damon was grateful he had a large foyer.
