It was two weeks after Damon was discharged and today, he was officially seeking her mother to seek her hand in marriage, no, scratch that, she means, relationship.
The past week had been spent in between school, home, and hospital. Although the hospital had stated Damon was good to go, Mrs. Claire demanded a thorough body checkup - from his head to the sole of his feet.
Tsk, tsk, so much money wasted. She couldn't understand rich people at all. But then Nessa knew his mother was just taking precautions. Although his illness was caused by the curse, it was manipulating his physical well-being and they had to make sure all was well.
So after Damon spent a week at the hospital, he spent another week at home - his mother claimed he needed bed rest. Truthfully, Nessa had anticipated Damon would go against the order, however, he obeyed without hesitation - and of course, she turned up to be his caregiver.
