Run Away With Damon
"You would never be special!" Those words kept playing in a loop in Nessa's head. Damon said that to her and strangely, it freaking hurts as if someone pierced her heart with a sword and left a gaping hole in her chest. Why does she even care so much? The asshole was nothing to her. Why should she get so affected by his words? Unless she had hoped to be special to me. Kind of crazy if you ask her.
"Just get me the hell out of here," Was the only word Nessa had said to him after he shattered her confidence with that single statement. And right now, they were in a taxi heading to her place.
She couldn't understand Damon at all. It was obvious that he was mad at her - probably - and she was mad at him - obviously - yet he wanted to make sure she got home safely. He could have just sent her home in a taxi and left in another.
