On a clear New Year's Eve, the genomancers of the Zoya Group residential complex gathered in Yumiko's yard. A blazing bonfire in the middle of the yard lit up and provided warmth on the cold night.
A table laden with delicious dishes was placed not far from the bonfire. The table was surrounded by chairs and a few small tables where people placed their drinks.
"I dodged the attack and then hit it with a barrage of punches. However, that bastard monster had tough skin, and the muscles on its body made it very difficult for me to penetrate its defenses.
