Rain and everyone else made their way towards the second floor of the academy in search of their room. When they finally found it at the farthest corner of the whole floor reserved for the first years, they skidded to a stop at the sight of students who were already seated inside.
The room was like in the brochures they saw. Clean walls, pristine marble floors with expansive windows at the side. Individual desk, a chalkboard in the front, and a locker on the back. Two doors flanked each end of the room—there were only ten seats, and there were only three seats in each row.
At the front center seat, an intriguing black-haired lady had a kind and innocent smile plastered on her face. To her right was the man with brown hair that they saw early. To her left, sitting at the window seat was the blue-haired beauty.
Behind the man with brown hair was a little girl with long pink hair who held her chin, eyes closed as if she was sleeping. Behind her was a tall, tanned man with markings on half his neck and face.
Alfonse was the first to break the trance as he strode like a Prince towards the center seat while Arca followed behind him and sat next to him in the window seat.
"Ehehehe! I'll take the one in the back!" Rever zoomed to the only seat at the back and slumped there without a care.
"T-then, I'll take the one behind Alfonse," Ethan mumbled.
Rain was left with no choice but to take the only seat left—a window seat behind Arca. Rain actually liked that spot as he imagined the fresh air blowing on his face.

"H-hello . . . My name is Ethan Hall." Ethan broke the deafening silence as he extended his hand towards the person to his right. He was a bit scared at the tall guy with markings, but when he glanced at him and gave him a friendly smile, Ethan's smile widened.
"Galahad Mubal." Galahad accepted Ethan's hand, and after they shook hands, they busied themselves with small talk.
Rain's eyebrows twitched when something tapped his hair. He looked over his shoulder and found Rever grinning at him while pointing a finger towards the direction of the man with brown hair.
Rain glanced in that direction and found that the man with brown hair had constantly been glaring nonstop at Alfonse while the latter was all nonchalant about it and didn't pay any attention to the guy.
Rain was about to chuckle when he felt that familiar pressure. He shifted his eyes forward and found the blue-haired beauty looking at him with a burning desire to do combat. And when their eyes met, the beauty retracted her gaze while Arca stared at him with an eyebrow raised.
Augh . . .
Rain could only laugh bitterly at himself.
SLAM!
The abrupt opening of the door caught everyone's attention. Walking in was an alluring woman exhibiting a mature charm. She was about twenty-seven years old with long red wavy hair tied in a messy bun and was dressed in a suggestive red body-hugging skirt.
She then slammed her palms on the table and leaned forward with a grinning drunken face. She even smelled like booze.
"Hello everyone! Welcome to Class 4/7! My name is Silva, and for the next four years, I'll be teaching you a lot on how not to die in the outside world!"
