A visit to the queen

As Dennis was lost in thought after he felt one of his friends nearby. He turned around after hearing footsteps that were close by. He saw Nidializ with a pen and sketchbook in hand as she was trying to catch her breath.

[Dennis] "Nidializ? How did you catch up to me? Its like 30-minute walk from here to the house."

Dennis said to Nidializ as he was checking the time. When Dennis looked at his phone, he realized he was behind schedule.

[Nidializ] "I'm coming with you, I want to look around today."

When Dennis heard Nidializ, he was against the idea to let her venture with him to the capital, but he couldn't deny it since this would be her first time going to the castle.

[Dennis] "Fine, you may tag along, but don't ask questions to the guards or the queen when we get to the capital."

Before Nidializ could even say something. Dennis placed his hands on her shoulders and opened a rift that took them in and placed them inside the throne room in the castle. Nidializ become lost and confused on how Dennis did that. She was pointing at the ground then at Dennis then at the place as she got surprised and excited.

[Nidializ] "Bro, how did you do that!?!"

[Dennis] "It's a long story..."

Dennis said he felt someone was starring at him for the longest time and was piercing his head. He looked over by the throne and saw Celeste waiting on her thrown.

[Dennis] "Ok, if she asks something, just deny it. She will do anything to get information out of you."

[Nidializ] "Why?"

[Dennis] "Its just feels like today is one of the worst days..."

They both approached the throne to talk to Celeste. Dennis was about to say something, but Celeste raised her hand to take control of the conversation.

[Celeste] "Dennis, its good to see you, I see you brought one of your friends with you today."

[Dennis] "Yea... But aside from that. Are we going to discuss a few things?"

[Celeste] "Yes... But first, why don't you make yourselves at home. I can tell that your bodies are tired and are asking to rest."

Nidializ noticed Celeste had a point, and Dennis really didn't want to even rest. He was still under the influence of his fusion that he didn't notice that his body need to rest.

[Dennis] "I'm good."

[Nidializ] "Same here."

With nothing else to say. They all continued to discuss the recent events and future events that will happen, and they need to take priority. Dennis handed over a copy from his reports to Celeste and she looked thru it all to tiniest detail,

[Celeste] "Hmm... Well Dennis, I can at least say that you and your team did an outstanding job, and congratulations on your fight with Farion."

Dennis looked down at the floor in an attempt to ignore his tie with Farion.

[Celeste] "But are you sure that you want to carry on with this plan of yours?"

[Dennis] "Yes, as crazy as it may be, I really need to prepare."

[Celeste] "Hmm... Why don't you ask Nix to help you out? They always wanted to study you."

Dennis started thinking on how this could end badly. Nidializ had to step in and give Dennis some back up before he gets in deep trouble. She could see it in Celeste's eyes and knew what she was going to say next was going to put Dennis on a bad spot.

[Nidializ] "Um... anyway, your majesty, can you show us around the place? I bet Dennis would like to have a look around after being gone for a lot of time."

[Celeste] "I guess your right... The place changed a bit for the past two years."

Celeste had gotten up from her throne and gave a hand sign to Dennis and Nidializ so that they could follow her. As she went out to the back side of the throne room. She opened a door that was a balcony and they could see everything from the capital.

[Dennis] "You know, I think everyone needs a certain trainer."

[Nidializ] "What do you mean?"

[Dennis] "Well, I can train you and Dwight to improve your sword skills. But I need to find someone to train Dj, Claire and Owen."

Celeste was interested in the conversation. She then whispered something on to Dennis's ears. It surprised Dennis. He knew what he needs to do now; it is just a matter before it could happen.

[Nidializ] "Hey Dennis... Is it ok if I stay with Celeste for a few days?"

[Dennis] "Sure, but I'm going to stay as well. I got a few things to do here and I need to arrange a meeting with the kingdom of Retronnia to discus about yesterday's incident..."

[Nidializ] "Ok, but can we go explore? I'm getting motivated to draw and I need pictures!"

Dennis quickly nodded as response to Nidializ. They both headed out to find some places that can be used to draw a scenery. As Celeste stayed behind, it filled her with joy. Seeing Dennis be his happy old self made her remember something important. She realized she needs to meet with Dennis in private while no one else was around.

Meanwhile, Dennis and Nidializ found various places to use as reference to make drawings. They even stopped on a local café and ordered a few drinks and snacks for the go. As they walked by the nearest garden, they ended up realizing that they almost missed this spot.

[Nidializ] "Dennis, can you take a picture of that spot?"

[Dennis] "Sure."

Dennis pulled out his phone and took a quick picture of the garden. They then left back to the castle to go find the bedrooms that they should stay in. Dennis and Nidializ ended back in the throne room, and Celeste couldn't be found to serve as a guide. But, Dennis, however, knew his way around the place. It took him 30 minutes for him to find the rooms.

[Dennis] "Ok, at least we have our rooms close to each other."

[Nidializ] "Yea, also, thanks for helping me with my drawings and dude, can you help me look around tomorrow?"

Dennis gave Nidializ a thumbs up and she nodded as a reply. They both went in to their own rooms and locked the doors to sleep it off all day long.
